And we stood in line 20 minutes before the bus was ready to be boarded. The bus drivers are really great and the buses are clean. Seats are pretty comfy but a feeling a little bit cramped after a while.

When the ticket taker starts boarding everyone else I asked him to board us. He said Trailways doesn't honor priority and we had to go to the END of the packed bus line. I asked him to board us and he repeatedly said "talk to greyhound ". Very rude and embarrassing. So I'm talking to Trailways! Honor priority boarding or at least tell the people at the desk the correct info. We arrived when the line had only three people. We needed to aboard early for medical reasons and paid extra!!! Their communication and service was outstanding during the entire process, from the initial quote, additional questions I had along the way, to confirmation of the pickup, driver information and meeting place. Took 1.5 hours from the time I scheduled my pickup to drop off, for a typically 45 min drive, but I was only in the car for about 45 min (ie the first 45 min the shuttle was picking other people up before me and I could see that in the comfort of my hotel). I've used supershuttle twice in recent years to go to ny area airports and both times have been seamless. Perfect for when you are not in a rush. Update: tried this service again and it took 2 hours to get to the airport with many delays. Pickup was about 40 min late so I'm reducing this to 3 stars. So definitely for when you are in no rush at all.

The luxury of a private car to the airport is a great one. The driver, arranged through the concierge at my building, was at my door on time and he got me to the airport in about an hour at rush hour. However: 1. It cost $70 and the guy refused to tell me the rate until we were several miles away. 2. He didn't take cards, only cash. 3. He listened to terrible music and SANG ALONG. 4. The 'free snacks' were Captain's Wafers, an apple and bubble gum. I passed on everything but a stick of gum. 5. He listened to baseball on the radio. 6. He talked on the phone a lot. 7. He acted like he had to take a toll road and I should pay him for it. I knew he didn't have to do so, so he eventually relented and paid the toll himself. The ride was plush, not bumpy or uncomfortable, and I got where I needed to be. I don't know that I'd bother with this service in particular again, though.
