I honestly don't even want to give this place 1 star. I've been going here for a little over a…read moremonth now. After my first appointment I was asked to come back three times per week. I was always on time or early to each appointment. Once or twice, I had an appointment scheduled and due to some issues that came up with work, I realized that I would not be able to get to the appointment on time. So rather than be late to the appointment, I called SEVERAL hours in advance to cancel. They charged me $25 for "missing" an appointment. Now, if I just didn't show up at all or canceled on short notice I could understand. But clearly they have no understanding of how business works. Each visit costed me over $60.00, and now because of this $25 bogus fee they just lost my business of over $180 per week. Real smart!! Also, the girl at the front desk was extremely rude and condescending on the phone when I spoke to her. There was nothing special at all about the services there so do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Friendly staff, quick and easy scheduling and convenience made this place a good choice for me. Despite being a small place I couldn't be happier with the ease of getting a hold of the office. One of my biggest complaints with doctors is that you can be put on hold a lot or have to wait a bit to talk to someone to schedule an appointment but each time I've called the office I have gotten through and had questions answered quickly. As a new patient I also was afraid it might take a bit to get a first appointment scheduled, however after dropping off my paperwork after a fax was having difficulty being delivered, the transfer of files went through within a week, and I had an appointment for a couple of weeks later, despite wanting an appointment 3:15 or later, which sometimes can be prime time and hard to book in short notice. When going in for my appointment I got there just on time, only waited a few minutes, had my height weight etc all done within a few minutes, and hardly waited at all to be seen by the PA who was friendly and helpful. Had a great first experience at this doctor's office and am happy for the convienience so close to home. If you live nearby I definitely recommend checking out this office.

We are pleased that we follow their suggestions and have been happy with our daughter's care there. I would hope that all pediatricians are this way, but communication and promptness in response to concerns or questions has been a major plus. I certainly try to eliminate calls outside of office hours, but on the few occasions over the past year when I have called, I have received very prompt responses, and absolutely no frustration that I had made the call. The doctor, PAs, and nurses have all been wonderful, and are willing to answer all of my many questions as a FTM. I would definitely encourage parents of little ones to check out this office.

We have also seen the nurse practitioner Ann Sorrento. Our daughter had a bad ear infection a few months back that require an intramuscular shot of antibiotics. We were able to be seen in a timely manner over the weekend and have always received a callback from the emergency line. This availability brings me some peace of mind. It's also nice that the Bushnell Basin office is literally almost a stone throw from our house, so that's pretty convenient as well. Overall happy with this pediatric group.

Would have given a 5 star review based on my experience with this practice but his help in the past few days has been over and above the call of duty. Not too long ago my father died and it became clear that my mother has Alzheimer's and had to be placed in a home. On December 22rd she broke a tooth in one of her dentures - a front tooth - and was very embarrassed about this and very upset about it particularly going into the holiday. Although she wasn't a patient of Dr. Silver's, his office got her in right away and got the denture repaired and returned to her by the 23rd - even though his office wasn't open on the 23rd. A wonderful member of his staff even went to her nursing home at one point. She was so relieved to have that fixed - saved Christmas for her. You really can't ask for more.
