My day job is Audio Visual technician. I know how to facilitate a virtual phone call with health provider. I was in the virtual room at 6:45am and was adjusting the lighting in my room while waiting for "Deb" to arrive. I could not have been more ready The call never happened and I was pushed aside. They will reply to this with "we tried to call you. You hung up on us." But they really didn't. They called me a later on when I was busy but no voicemail and no follow Up. Having gotten out of a recent break-up I saw Dr. Parker to explore getting pregnant on my own--possibly more hormone treatments, thyroid tests, anything that would help my fertility as a late 30-something woman. The first words out of her mouth were 'Well... I have two children and I could not have done it without the love and support of my partner.' She proceeded to ask me the following questions: -- Was I financially secure enough to raise a kid? (39 with a very successful business) -- Why not consider adoption? (Always a consideration of mine but expensive and I want to try natural conception while I'm still young) -- Why not consider dating someone with a kid? (Already a stepmom from my previous relationship) She asked me how I planned on getting pregnant and how I planned to give birth. I told her I pondered home birth and she proceeded to tell me a home birth nightmare story. All in all it was an incredibly shaming and negative experience. Absolutely nothing positive or empowering was uttered from her mouth and being a woman doctor--who supposedly embraces an alternative lifestyle--I expected a lot more out of her. I was definitely emotional in our visit but I don't think that was justification for her to be so judgmental. I sought out a holistic doctor to have a more positive experience not to be treated like I'm incapable and out of touch with my own aspirations as a human. It's taken me some time to have the courage to write this review but I think it's important. I wouldn't want someone else to have the same experience. I won't be going back to her, nor would I recommend her as a doctor.

Additionally, this facility recently moved from Highland over to Snelling Avenue and offers more natural lighting and overall space. When I contacted his office, his nurse told me he had ordered the MRI's I requested but that my insurance wouldn't pay for both of them. When I contacted my insurance, they told me my policy does cover both MRI's and I found that his staff had lied about ordering both of my MRI's, as he had only ordered one for one spot. In the meantime my mother died suddenly and unexpectedly and I had to cancel my MRI appointment last Dec, then I contracted COVID and the order expired. My insurance told me he must reorder the MRI, but he refuses and his staff told me they no longer want to work with me. Now I have to pay for another doctor visit somewhere else and start all over for the same problem.

The they brought me back into pre-op and my nurse Nicole was AMAZING and they put in my IV and my anesthesiologist came in and was super cool, Dr. Potter. Then I don't remember much after that, except waking up in the recovery room and they decided to keep me overnight. The night nurses were great and I had a breakfast sandwich for breakfast, which was actually pretty good. I did some PT and OT before checking out and they were both fantastic. A great experience overall, with super caring nurses and doctors.
