Yea KZ, you know who I am. That little red car you butchered. When I picked it up it had a deep dent in the nose and deep scratches on the trunk. The car only weighs just over 2000 lbs. The parking lot is flat. You didn't need to push the car very hard to move it. Some asshole shoved the car into another car's trailer hitch. The dent is over 1/2" deep. You can see the roundness of the dent that clearly shows that it was smashed into a trailer hitch. Additionally, the same asshole dragged his finger's into the trunk paint. The car has a bumper moron. Why the hell did you need to drag your fingers down the trunk lid? I am convinced that this car was damaged on purpose. All that said I will never ever take a car there again. I recommend you find someone else to repair your car given my experience.

Terry's Transmission read the codes, put the vehicle on a lift, and took it for test drives, but said they could not recreate the issue. I asked directly whether the vehicle was safe to drive on the trip. I was told, verbatim, "Absolutely. If this was my car and my family trip, I wouldn't have any hesitation at all." Unfortunately, more than 700 miles from home, the transmission failed. The vehicle would not shift out of reverse until it eventually did. We had to get it to a dealer out of state. The dealer was able to diagnose the issue quickly. The required repair involved a part inside the transmission, which meant the transmission had to be taken apart, repaired, and reassembled. The repair itself is covered under warranty, but most of the rental costs and travel disruption are not. I understand that I made the final decision to drive the vehicle out of state. That part is on me. However, the end result was being stranded more than 700 miles from home without a usable vehicle, followed by additional rental costs and another trip just to retrieve the car once the repair is complete. I relied on this shop to competently evaluate the problem and give me a sound recommendation before a long trip. Based on what happened afterward, I do not believe that evaluation or recommendation was reliable. I will not be using this business again.
