I feel safe living here, there is no rift raft hanging out and it is always quiet. The grounds are kept clean. The Managers here are great and easy to talk to, I do believe they care about their tenants. The rent is pretty low for what you get! Update 11/10/23: screenshot of his "compliment" shared, go ahead and read. Now the apartment minions want to waste my time. Ryan, I couldn't care less of your experience, nor did I ask. Write a review about yours'. I don't particularly care what you see as "farfetched", our experiences were very different "lol" Talk about childish. I literally shared proof of why and how I got to feeling this way, both openly and honestly from emails, to call records, etc. Instead of sitting here and telling me your definition of "farfetched" and "lol"-ing what I felt, write a review if you're so offended, because last time I checked, I don't recall asking nor requesting for your unnecessary time or experience. Have a good one stranger. Mind you this is the same guy that had a 1 star experience while having beer, that's like me being offended by that sending him a passive and sarcastic message just because I had a better experience. Don't invalidate my experience just because yours' was different. For all I know this could be a staff member, regardless glad you took my advice and left your own review. Update 11/09/23: Farfetched? I recieved literally one call back in a span of 27 days. I say things as I see them, apologies on behalf of no one if you're unable to accept facts. You can selectively pick out parts of my email, no problem. Do you know what else I asked in my emails over the entirety of October, when do you think they may be available, and if not please let me know the soonest availability for the one bedroom, to which you proceeded to throw 2 brochures at me after basically and to once again never be heard from again even though your brochure email ended with feeling free to ask you any questions and I sent an email right after, not once did I get a response until I posted a review. You can sit here and deny all you want, but there is literally an image provided of the error on your website, if you decided to fix it after reading the review/screenshot proof and then claiming it as "working" then that's truly an exceptional response from the same individual who could not even spare a phone call until October 27th, and that was only when I provided screenshots with the review. Not a single call before that. You know what else I find hysterical, the fact the one time there is an honest review with proof with lack of professionalism, and excuses for poor communication, suddenly there are more positive recent reviews. Nothing I can tour? Literally your emails mention there being the availability of Pine floorplan, to as you can see in the email, I asked for if you're unable to tell me how soon I can view a maple floorplan. Don't sit here and nitpick my emails, answer all of my questions, don't be selective, and if you don't have the time either get more staff, or you aren't qualified. I've been nothing but courteous the entirety of October, and when do I get a phone call for the disrespect, of my fiancé driving over 40 minutes in early October, I get a phone call on October 27th, AFTER I posted a review with photos proving the lack of communication on YOUR end not anyone else's. Leave your staff out of this Christina. The excuses, of not being able to call, I expressed whenever I called on any number I found, straight to auto message options. To which you responded, you're very occupied because of short staff, and I was very empathetic, but to sit here and not receive proper communication such as a phone call after expressing nothing but kindness per every email shown, is nonsensical for a multiplicity of reasons until October 27th because of a review that showed your poor communication. If you have enough time to type your delusional novela, gaslighting my emails, reciprocating no respect as shown throughout October from my end, then please spend more time doing an efficient job. Because quite frankly, this is truly sad. I've worked on my own in BUSIER places, including those that practice medicine, and NEVER have I treated anyone this way. Please have a lovely time reflecting on your character integrity. As a born and raised New Yorker, I have zero tolerance for this absurdity. Please stop stepping out of line. I'm so impressed with the new manager OSHAE ! We have lived her for 4 + years & we have never encountered such great customer service! He makes us feel like we are cared about & we come first before anything. He's always the one who answers the phones & our questions. We're super happy living here & we owe it all to oshae!!!! I love my apartment home. The complex is very quiet. i've been living there for about a year now really don't have any problems with anything when I called the office someone always answers which is oshae and he makes sure that what ever i need he makes sure that it can get fix's and done. The maintenance guys are great. The whole team at Ridgegate is nice and helpful good customer service. but I can say this the only real thing is that I really dislike is the parking if I have company but other than that my apartment home is nice spacious quiet no problems.. So now usually I do not do 5 star reviews. Because frankly there are things that can be improved. But not for this property. First off is the pricing of units. I am from Idaho where the population has increased since I left and the price of rent has gone up with the wages still staying the same for the last 10 years. When I moved to Washington for work, I didn't think I would find a place to live that was affordable. But that changed with Ridgegate. I have been living on property for almost a year now, and it doesn't even seem like it! The office staff is incredibly helpful with any matter relating to my lease, or any other issue throughout the complex. The maintenance team is incredibly helpful and nice as well. Shout out to Cody for being on spot when something does happen. The amenities that you get are better than the places I've lived in the past as well. They even have an Amazon Locker! 24 hour access to the gym so that means I don't have to go up to Planet Fitness even though it's up the road. The location is prime as well. A couple minutes away from downtown and right next to 167! Makes commuting much easier. Thank you to Christina and her team for making an apartment feel like a home for me, and my furry little dude. read more

The staff and apartment was nice. My real problem came after move out. I completed a walk through, was told the apartment looked good. When I got my security deposit back I was charged for cleaning and carpet cleaning, they also didn't refund my larger than normal deposit. I made several calls and emails being told it was being worked on. After 2 months I sent a letter quoting Washington State laws and threatening legal action till I finally got my deposit back. read more

I've lived here for approximately 4 months. I have my parking spot taken on an almost daily basis. If you don't mind hiking to your apartment while paying for people to park in your assigned spot you probably will not have issues living here. The parking in this apt complex is only full after hours and luckily for guests that means they will get your parking spot and no one will be able to tow your vehicle due to the fact Madison Ridgegate staff does not have a 24 hr towing service. Their towing service is only available when their office is open. So pretty much when everyone's at work and the parking lot is empty they can help but if you come home at night good luck lol This is this only complaint I have with this apartment complex but because of the frequent nature of this issue it becomes a decent complaint. Especially when you carry a large amount of things from your car (groceries,work stuff) when you get home or when you just want to relax after a nice date and you have to walk your nice girl or guy 10 minutes to your apartment. I would like to add I have contacted the leasing office and the central office several times about this issue with no resolution in sight. read more

If I could give these apartments a 0 I probably would, I moved into these apartments in April being told they have a sauna, the sauna has never worked no matter how many times we talk to the people who run these apartments. Once we got approved we were never called we had to call them to figure it out, they changed move in date multiple times and once we finally moved in so many things were broken. Neither of the hot tubes run let alone would I want to get in them most of the time they're green and they are not cleaned. The pool as well is mostly closed because they do not keep up with cleaning the pool. We were promised all these amenities and have to pay all this extra money and nothing seems to work. Not to mention they've lost my packages multiple times and have to send them to family members houses so they don't get "lost" again. If you are a contractor don't work for Ridgegate apartments in Kent Wa. I owned a painting company and painted two units for them. I submitted an invoice and they kept giving me the run around for payment. 8+ months later and still no payment! They even stopped returning my emails. Sure it was only $500 but for a small business, this matters. I've given up on getting any payments and on Ridgegate apartments. Lesson learned. read more

I have lives here for a couple of months now. From the first phone call, O'Shea has been exceedingly polite, helpful and efficient. He always returns my phone calls and voicemails promptly and if he hasn't already fixed the problem, he has an answer right away. Kathy is also in the office and helps with maintenance and she is very quick to fix any problems I have had. The maintenance guy I have met, Ed, is super friendly and also fast to get things done. The complex is clean and quiet and I can't wait for the pool to open! read more

If I could give them a negative star I would. I have credit issues so I applied at a few apartments to see where I could get approved. The others refunded me my deposit even after approval but Ridgegate Apartments told me because I was approved I don't get my $200 holding fee money back. Since when do apartments keep your application fee and holding fee. Normally the application fee is non-fundable but the holding fee is if you don't select an apartment. As a single dad I think this is completely messed up. I work way too hard to provide for my daughter and I lose $200 just because I decided not to chose this apartment. I've lived at Madison Ridgegate for 2 years. I should have left when my lease was up but it expired at a really inconvenient time causing me to sign another year lease since it would've cost $2000 a month to sign a 6 month lease. Expect the maintenance crew in your home once a month to make multiple fixes. The first year I stayed here, I had things break all the time. Actually had to use pliers to take a shower for about 5 months. I've had them in my home over 12 times the first year fixing two things at a time at lease. I've had my dryer steam up my whole apartment. I've had the fireplace blow smoke in the unit above me twice, my kitchen sink about 5 times, I've had toilet water shoot up and hit my ceiling as well. I've had sliding mirror doors crack on me, dishwasher panels fall and injury a family member visiting (I've called them three times to fix that). They advertise their amenities quite well but forget to mention that the sauna only works when the moon is aligned to the leasing office front door and the hot tubs and pools will need to be fixed most the summer. In that case, shooting toilet water might be refreshing. Oh, and don't forget the lovely bill you'll receive after moving out. Keep in mind that even though you pay your bills on time, they'll charge you for a couple months utilities from the beginning of your lease agreement. Apparently when you start paying your utilities bill, they don't charge you for the first couple months then keep it all hidden until you move out. My bill is $995 for general cleaning and repairs with two months of utilities that I was unaware even existed. read more

Ridgegate was the 4th or 5th complex that I looked at while I was searching for an apartment. I looked at the online reviews of all the places that I went and to be honest they probably had the most negative reviews out of all the places that I looked. The location was the biggest thing for me, they are close to everything that I need to get to. So I decided I would check them out. When I was touring the property I was talking with Sara the property manager. She was very helpful and gave me all the information that I needed in regards to the apartment. She showed me the apartment that I would be renting and I was very impressed, the new renovations they have going on make the apartments look great. She walked me through all the paperwork and told me everything I needed to speed up the application process. Once I was approved the move in went great as well, I met the other office gal Sandy who is always very nice and sparks up a conversation every time I go into the office. I was also very impressed with the Maintenance staff, i put a work order in for my dishwasher and it was fixed within 30 minutes of me placing the work order. I am very pleased with this community and just from the short 2 months I have been here so far I continue to see improvements to the property. This is a great place to live and I would definitely recommend it to my friends and family. read more
