Best gas station and convenience store in town which is why it's the only one I go to. Staff is always professional and friendly, many of them remember what I always get when I go there and grab it for me as soon as I walk in. Jeremy specifically is extremely helpful and just a cool guy, always goes out of his way to help however he can. When I notified him that there was a large pothole in the parking lot, he thanked me for the heads up and made sure it got patched up immediately. I've seen firsthand how random clowns come in looking to start trouble and being rude. The negative reviews are coming from those people. If you come in like a normal person and behave, you will be greeted by nothing but professional courtesy. Don't act like a fool and then whine when you are dealt with accordingly. read more

While I was in their I was trying to be respectful and nice to the cashier Alexandra. I saw her talking and laughing with another customer and I was not trying to copy his energy all I was doing was trying to be nice and respectful but she thought it wasn't nice enough to even respond or give me the common courtesy to be nice and respectful. I understand that things could happen and she could of been going through things but if she had enough energy to give another customer the courtesy of treating them like a human being I believe I also should have that. I had such an awesome experience with the gulf station in ridgefield , few days ago I had a flat tire and the cashier with glasses helped me Change it and on top of that refused to take cash . this place is horrible today 03/14/2020 I went buy Two iphone chargers and 15 dollars of gas the owner saw me with discriminating eyes. pay with my debit card I went to put gas in my car and it only took 10.02 I went to the cashier and I told him that if they gave me my cash back and the owner was more rude and laughed in humiliation. in the end they did not give me money and they told me that they will deposit my money automatically. my question is why other places give cash back. They are really very educated North Americans. In this place they discriminated against me for being gay and this guy is from the Middle East or somewhere in the world where he comes from, there is no respect. This place gives a new definition to the word 'jerk'. The men working there are incredibly rude... granted that's only when they aren't ignoring you. I wanted a gas fill. Simple enough but the nozzle wouldn't work. I went in 3 times to ask for help - there were no other customers at the time so being busy wasn't an issue. The first time the guy told me (after asking me what I had said twice), I needed to put in my card again. The second time, after once again saying, "what - what - what?", loudly as if I was something disgusting, I had to go back out and try again. I should have given up then. On the third time another man came out, 'to show what I need to do properly'. He stood and watched me do it, then yelled at me while managing a few eye rolls. He said I needed patience. Then he walked off in a huff exclaiming - 'God, are YOU kidding me??' I put in enough gas to get to Irvine station, where I should have gone in the first place. Last time I use these people - I think they take great pleasure in complete rudeness. Just in there's background required - I'm a 51 year old woman who's first language is English. I know how gas gets in a car, and I know how to speak clearly... I maybe what I need to learn is to stay away from men of this caliber. read more

Most likely the worst customer service I have ever encountered. The person behind the counter literally stood and stared at me without saying a word while I was attempting to pay for my merchandise. I asked to buy a lottery ticket and he walked away to go check his cellphone, leaving me there dumbfounded. Three people stacked up behind me as he, with his back to us, checked his email/text messages. Then when he returned to do his job I received an attitude and a tone in his voice. Went to cash a $60 winning lottery ticket which really isn't a lot. The cashier said they had to check with their supervisor if they could cash it only for them to come back and tell me the only way to cash was if i planned on spending the whole $60 there. What a rip off and a joke, i will no longer be returning here for gas or my lottery needs. Like some others, I have never written a review however today I stopped to fill up my pickup and could not get the pump to accept my credit card. I went into the store and spoke to the cashier. He could not have been more condescending and rude. So much for customer service. The amount of times I've walked in here, and none of the employees are to be found is frightening. They are outside in the back, or the guy who is on the phone with his headphones in as I'm asking for something and is getting frustrated he can't understand me, but is in the middle of a phone conversation- so I'm the inconvenience. Unless everywhere else is closed, I won't give them my business. I've recently bought gas cards for my family- all from mobile. I have never had a problem with the female cashier.. She greets u when u walk in. She's helpful polite and has a good sense of humor. Overall a nice person. I highly doubt she said anything like that to a customer..Im in there every other night so I know. Name calling is childish and disrespectful. I would give 0 stars if it were possible. This is one of the first yelp reviews I've written. I was so compelled by anger, I had to write something. I stopped at this station to gas up. I noticed they had two car vacuum machines so I pulled out $1.50 in quarters and decided to vacuum my car. I put the $1.50 in and the machine started to make noise but the suction wasn't working, nothing was being picked up by the vacuum hose. I went inside to tell the man working there and ask for my money back. He came outside to check it but by the time he did the vacuum had stopped working. He accused me of trying to use it for 3 mins and then ask for my money back. Why would I bother doing that to retrieve $1.50. As if I have that kind of time on my hands. I told him it must have stopped working in the time I went to get him. He then said to me "oh yeah it took you three minutes to come get me??" Meanwhile, I didn't bother using the other vacuum there bc there was a disgusting long hair clot stuck in it. When I told him there was a disgusting long hair piece coming out of the other hose, his response was "what do you expect? It's a vacuum." Meanwhile I didnt bother telling him I spent a minute trying to remove the hair clot from the vacuum hose before I realized it was too big. As if I should be the one to have to do that?? It was an awful experience, he refused to give me $1.50 back. What kind of people run a business so poorly. They clearly don't care at all about ripping people off. I have had a totally different experience as a regular who stops at the 24 hour station EVERY DAY after work. The night shift female cashier is one of the few people I deal with daily that still exhibits manners and professionalism at her job in this Yelp reviewing, entitled town of ours. Maybe just maybe your husband was the bitch and you got the story mixed up when he had to explain why he spent your lunch money on your daughters gum. There was an employee at this Gulf that didn't cut it for about 3 weeks and he was fired for not cutting it immediately. The management seems to do a pretty good job of finding decent people to work for them. I'm a real pain in the ass and a ball buster and I get nothing back but friendly conversation from the people at gulf. I recommend The cigarettes and The Arizona iced tea it's very cold and the Ben and Jerry's ice cream is always there at a reasonable price when you need to binge. The manager keeps trying to convince me the coffee is good but I'll stick with Dunkin. read more
