After that the pump computer said to see the cashier, which I did. I told him of the problem and he mentioned it's taken care, which it wasn't. I couldn't get my tank filled even though the cashier had charged me. The cashier a Pakistani national told me "This is not my problem" and "this is bulllshit". When checking my bank statement I saw the charge listed as if I had received my gasoline, which I didn't. The employee(business (owner?)) was exceedingly rude and used foul language towards me and is trying to defraud me. In addition, he is clearly lying and shirking responsibility by saying "I have nothing to do with this charge". I'm surprised that Weston Automative only has one review and that it is so old! I moved to CT from…read moreCalifornia not long ago and I stumbled on these guys because they are close to my house and my work. Although I chose them out of convenience, I was really blown away by their honesty, responsiveness, and quality service. At my first visit, I was convinced that I needed a transmission overhaul (due to a grinding sound that I heard) as well as new brake pads. I dropped the car off and the technician (Rich?) was really helpful and patient. Within the same day, he called me and shared that he had driven the car for miles and did not detect any issues with the transmission or the brakes. In fact, he told me that the brakes were in fantastic shape and it would have been unethical of him to change them! I was a little embarrassed, but the car stayed in CA for many months before we shipped it and I wrongly assumed that the brakes were squeaking due to an issue with the pads. It turned out that it was just dust or debris, and Rich was correct that it was just dust! They charged me NOTHING despite working on my car for hours. I brought my car back a few months later because there was an intense grinding sound in the engine. Since my car is fairly old, I assumed the worst. When I described the sound to Rich, he asked a couple of clarifying questions, and told me exactly what the problem was, which was WAY less of an issue than I was expecting. It was a simple fix and very inexpensive. They also changed my oil and replaced my dome light. Weston is a small town and it doesn't seem like a lot of folks use Yelp to identify mechanics, as evidenced by this unused Yelp page! But I highly recommend Weston Automotive to take care of your car.
