I posted twice with honest words .by yvonne tanner.they couldn't handle repairing the fox body maybe cause no insurance or wreck was involved.i only have liability for insurance and they werent interested in workin with me .quoted me over 5.000 but they would have had to get a whole hood n quarter panel.hell I could do that one myself.i though bodyshop knock dents out n repairs them but obviously I'm wrong. Just wanted to say a large "THANK YOU" to Mr. Tallent who came out on 11 June 2021 (a Friday morning) to a family member's office near the Angel Medical Center and changed a tire -- in the rain -- at 0730 in the morning -- and within about 20 mminutes of being called. I called Ridgecrest Towing and Auto Service last Friday. They were reccomended by AAA for towing and auto repair. No#1 on AAA'S list in the area where we are in NC. Our Honda CRV which is used as our tow car for our motorhome and for personal use while in NC. Thursday while driving thru the winding mountain roads, the radiator blew and steam poured outside and inside the car. Fortunately, we did make it to our property. After researching who could tow and work on the car, I found Ridgecrest Towing and Auto Services in Franklin NC. Called them Friday morning and by the afternoon they were here to tow the car to their facilities. I had spoken to Joe, the owner on Friday and he made it all happen quickly for us. Called on Saturday to check on the status and spoke to Joe's son Giuseppe. Joe had told him to prioritize us and they surely did. The radiator was ordered that day and by Tuesday afternoon Giuseppe called me to let me know the car was ready for pick up. We left Scaly Mountain NC shortly after and had the car back at Wildflower Creek Motorcoach Resort that afternoon. Great service!!! Great friendly people!! Great service!! I never leave bad reviews but this was a nightmare. Please be aware that they lied about taking a towing fee off if I took my car to  be serviced with them because I had a flat tire. I have other car insurance but thought this was a great deal. When I went to pay, they refused to believe that they had told me about the free tow. I could have gone to someone else if I had known this. After I left a review on google, they tried to backtrack by lying about recording the conversation. This was not true or else it would be illegal and I could press chargers. I just moved to the area and am really disappointed with how they treated us and others, please go somewhere else. read more

Great place. Drove the family up for a quiet vacation. Hut a pothole which made a bubble in my tire. Had to get replaced immediately. Call up and they said the tire would be there by noon. Great place. Great vibe. Great work!! read more

There are a few that are more current, but they've been relegated to the back page and are much more derogatory. I'm disappointed in Yelp. I needed a tow for a trike for over 100 miles. They arrived on time and the driver was wonderful, confident and very cool considering what he was driving. We went 20 miles and had to go back 10 because the truck was overheating. They did something and off we went again. We had to stop over 6 or 7 times to let the truck cool down as we were in the mtns. It took double the time to get home. They did let me and hubby go with truck so that was really appreciated. The only complaint I have is that the truck should never have been used. That driver was a saint and we felt confident with him at the wheel but he should never have been put in that position. FIx that truck!!!!!!!!!! read more

On the first Friday in November 2020, hit pothole near Cashiers, NC about 1:30pm. Dented both psssenger rims and flatted both tires. Call to insurance and AAA and Ridgecrest, about. 30-40 miles from where we were. Their driver, Adam, arrived just after2:30, got my Miata loaded on the roll back in spite of a missing tow hook, and got us to the shop in time to arrange a rental car. Jon took care of everything. Worked with the adjuster to find new OEM wheels and four new tires of my choosing because I did not like the Bridgestone OEMs with only 7,000 miles, Took a week to get wheels and tires, but Jon mounted, balanced and did alignment. If it weren't for Jon, Adam, and Ridgecrest, we may have been stranded for at least the weekend. Only praise for Ridgecrest. read more

My friend and I were trying to get her tires changed this last weekend. The place she typically goes to had a part break so they were unable to do tires until the new piece of equipment came in. We called many places and they were all either closed, or booked for the next couple weeks. We decided to stop by ridge rest and they were about to close but they said they'd do it. This shop was honest and very helpful to a damsel is distress when my F250 (250k milage) trasmission overheated in the hills a bubbled all the fluids out. My husband insisted i limp the truck home and they refilled all fluids and made recommendations for what needed to be done for my diesel trucks long term survival. We had our reliable dealership take a look and ALL of their recommendations were spot on (and their estimate for repair was less expensive- I might just limp back to them). I highly recommend them as a good, honest, straight shooting auto/truck repair place (and yes, they work on diesels). Being honest with a woman at a repair shop is usually hard to find, but these guys are great! read more

I can't say enough about these guys. I foolishly ran down my battery while watching the solar eclipse. Tried to jump start the car, but no luck. I had no cell service, so I got a ride into town. I picked Ridgecrest because they're open 24 hours. Jeremy at the office was courteous, knowledgeable, and reassuring. Brad the tow truck driver brought me back to my car (braving the post-eclipse traffic) and was able to jump start my car. I was an out of towner desperate to get back on the road fast. They could have easily overcharged me, but quite the opposite. These guys are reasonably priced, prompt, friendly, and honest. Highly recommended. read more

Awesome! From Mike the tow truck driver to Vera in the office to Jeremy in the shop. Great people, great service, can't say enough good things about them. I called AAA and within one minute of hanging up, Vera was calling me to set up a time to pick up my truck. Other than a loose battery cable they could find no problems even though they spent several hours checking everything out to make sure. Charged me for half an hour labor. Seriously??
