There is a big log house by the bluffs for wedding family, so they can have their own privacy before the ceremony. They have been open for selling wine since 2002. And he really knows his stuff! We did a wine tasting which was free for the first 3 but after that it is $1 per taste. We did about 4 more after that. We were warmly greeted and the owner was friendly and very knowledgeable. He restored the winery/stagecoach stop himself (he even shared before pictures) and makes the wine himself from the old recipes from the area, and from the fruits of the area (except for the lemons, which come from Arizona). The wines were unique and very good. Prior to this, I had never had rhubarb wine or a wine made from multiflora roses. Both were heavenly, and neither of us tasted a wine there that we felt wasn't good. The building itself is very neat and has much of its original charm, including the original windows. There are a few nice outdoor seating areas and a nice garden, as well. Know before you go: This place only accepts cash or check. There is an ATM down the road in a local bar.
