I was just driving up N. Church street when my curiosity got the best of me for my good upon seeing…read morethe store front for Red Dirt Vagabond that I hadn't noticed before. I was filled with a sense of wonder for what could be sold inside. Long story short: the store is filled with locally produced treasures created right here in Middle Georgia! I wanted to buy everything from the tantalizing- smelling candles to the historical books on Thomaston and Upson County. I left that store a happy camper with some great purchases in tow and a strong desire to let everyone know about this wonderful place. I love that they sold a variety of neat artisan and handmade products which makes it the perfect place if your looking to buy someone a special gift for any occasion. They had a lot of products for the outdoorsy pet lover, leather-made jewelry and totes, crafty cutting boards, hand-painted Bibles, and local honey and sunflower oil- just to name a few things. Lastly, I have to talk about Mrs. Sandy. She was so friendly. She welcomed us into her store and gave us helpful information about all the products inside. Also, she cooks a delicious pound cake! I bought three slices of the cream cheese pound cake for my family members and me, and we didn't leave a single crumb. I'll be back for some more cake, candles, and gift shopping especially with Christmas not too far away.

With such high ratings what could go wrong? The mushy and soft caramel that melted as soon as you…read moreate it and the small crystallized grains of sugar was unpleasant. Caramel is suppose to be firmer and chewy. What a disappointment. Maybe we got a bad batch? Old batch? My caramel apple was the same consistency, caramel rubbed right off when I was trying to eat it. The store is very pretty though with all the caramel apples lined up at the window. The service was very good and we were helped right away. We love to support local businesses, especially when it's homemade/local treats. Better luck to others.

We walked in and it's like a candy lovers wonder land! We were greeted and asked if there was anything specific we were looking for. I told him I was told to stop by but I wasn't sure what I wanted. So this is where the hospitality started. I was eyeing the fudge, so he suggested I get a sample. I wasn't sure which ice cream I wanted, he suggested I sample . . . So sample I did until we figured out what we wanted. We took a seat outside and enjoyed the ice cream, took some fudge and other treats home and I haven't stopped raving about them to everyone. So if you are in the area, stop in and give them a try!!

A cute place to stop at for a little sweet treat! My friend and I came here Saturday night and got…read moresome ice cream and some fudge for the road. We enjoyed it :) I really liked the dark chocolate raspberry truffle ice cream. My friend got the rainbow sherbet and wasn't crazy about it but it was still good. I got some of the cookie dough fudge to take home and it was good but mainly just tasted like white chocolate. I still liked it though, so no complaints there. All in all, before the tip I think it was around $15 which isn't bad at all. The prices are reasonable here. It is located in downtown Senoia so there's plenty of parking but if there's a lot going on you may need to search for a minute or walk a block. The location is super convenient; it's a great place to stop at after getting dinner somewhere. And on a spring evening you can relax and eat your ice cream on one of the benches outside. The vibe inside was cute and cozy. The worker was very friendly and did a great job of explaining things. I would happily come back.

Plenty of ice cream flavors to choose from and some other goodies to try out in the next trip. I had a simple vanilla ice cream cone that was quite generous, creamy and delicious. My friend had one of their candied apples and it was good too. Stop by if you are in town!

The shop has some seating available on the sidewalk on the side and a decent sized dining area. You will also find bar seating looking out of the window and rocking chairs out front. They have chocolates, bulk jelly beans, and packaged candy for sell. They also have a wide assortment of ice cream to choose from. You can get coffee, sundaes, banana splits, scoops, cones, shakes, and malts. I asked what was the difference between a shake and a malt and was told by the staff that a malt tasted like a Whooper or a thick milkshake. I assumed they were referring to the Whooper candy and not the burger. The shop was relatively clean and the staff was friendly. I got Cookie Monster ice cream for the littles and a Key Lime shake for me. To be honest, the shake was not very good and pretty bland. I was not a fan. By the blue color all over their face, the littles seemed to like their scoop of Cookie Monster though. My experience here was decent. I wish I would have liked my ice cream treat though. A 3.5 star rating would be more accurate, but since that is not an option, I guess it is closer to a 4 than a 3.
