The car they advertised was there. When I told them I wanted to see the car they handed me the key, The car was immaculately detailed, inside and out and the engine was like new. When I told them I wanted to test drive, they copied my license and gave me a dealer plate. The car ran like a Champ and had a set of new 19" Michelins on it and new front brakes! All the options worked. There was no pressure of any kind. Their website says they don't negotiate prices, which i hadn't seen, so was kind of surprised when it was pointed out to me and they wouldn't negotiate, but still a good value for me all things considered. I bought the car and they transferred title and issued new plates on the spot and installed them. The only disappointment was that their site showed an Autocheck which indicated no accidents and 4 previous owners, but when i ran a Carfax, it showed an accident in 2014 and 5 previous owners, good information, but I still like the car. The mileage was consistent on both reports, which is good. Jason was courteous, professional and handled everything and provided us copies of everything we had signed. Do I recommend them? YES ! I passively shopped around for a new vehicle over the course of a few months, finally found something I liked at rides unlimited. It's a smaller dealership but I've never had an auto loan before so naturally I was a bit apprehensive. I tried going to a big name dealership a couple months ago and they really tried to stick it to me. Long story short, I had to get rude because the salesman wouldn't give me my keys back when I said no, because they wanted me to sign for a loan where I would be paying back 20g's on a 10g loan. Crazy. The old used car salesmen stereotypes are still true in some places. Anyways, it's been about 6 weeks and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. None of the pressure like from that other place and they genuinely seem like they're just there to help you get what you want. Test drove and found the truck at the crest hill location and finalized the deal at the Plainfield location. Both spots met my expectations and the employees as well. There were a couple minor things that I wanted fixed in order to purchase the vehicle and they wrote it into the contract and did the repairs no problem. For a first time solo car buyer with decent credit and job this place was great. I am very happy with my new used truck. Recommended! read more

Scam business. Please stay away if you are looking for a vehicle in good working condition and like to be treated respectfully. I bought a car from here and had it shipped. Before I bought it Jason briick suggested a place to have the car inspected (first choice auto) and after the phony inspection saying how it was in "perfect working order" I bought the car. Jason also said the owner of the dealership used the car as his personal car and put 40 miles on it. When it arrived, the car had a check engine light, broken steering wheel, broken hood latch and broken trunk and broken key fob. There were cigarettes everywhere including ones stuffed into the air vents (which weren't pictured in the photos which tells me that the owner smoked and stuffed cigarettes in the vents which is unbelievable) There was a dent in the one of the wheels so large that the whole car would shake badly if you went over 40mph. There was 3 different brands of tires on it and the whole underside was completely rusted. All of which were undisclosed by both Rides Unlimited and First Choice Auto. repairs were in the thousands. When I called Jason, and told him all of the problems that were undisclosed and what can we do to make it right, he started insulting me and told me that I'm on my own and that thats just what happens when you buy a vehicle online and that i should have been wary. Incredibly unprofessional. If you care about your vehicle purchase being in good condition and like to be treated fairly and respectfully, please stay very far away from this place. Looking back i cant believe i bought a car from here after seeing so many horror stories and also the disrespectful, sketchy behavior by Jason. Shame on this scam business. read more

Bought a car from them for $9k & it came with a 15 day warranty required but the state since it was under 100k miles. Within a week of owning the car, we had to make repairs & some should've been covered under that warranty, but got the run around & never reimbursed. It was "I'll talk to the owner" & then ghosted. 6 months later, engine is blown (only about 2000 miles has been put on since buying). this is for my teenage son & Karl at the dealership said this is a good car for a teenager & made the car out to be a really good car. We are thinking about taking them to small claims court for things that should've been covered by them. Don't make the same mistake we did in buying from them. Absolutely don't recommend. read more

My husband and I drove an hour to get to this location with cash in hand. We picked out a car and we were ready to negotiate. The salesman was completely unavailable for 90% of our experience. He refused to negotiate at all and had the WORST customer service I have ever encountered..Also they don't even clean these cars. And they are asking WAY too much for pretty much all of them. 10 out of 10 do not recommend wasting your time. read more

After a week or maybe even less the engine light came on. I had to take the car to not one but TWO different shops that was "their" mechanics. The first shop acted like they didn't know what they were doing. They "fixed it" then i took it to a different shop..."matts finish line" they supposedly fixed it but her light came on yet again. It was NEVER fixed. When Rides gave me a rental car, the rental car has NO AC and it was summertime. My daughter was so hot she threw up everywhere since we had no AC, and the car was a total POS! 58 days and several broken promises later, I am still without a vehicle and at over $4000 in repairs. This is a very untrustworthy company.Absolutely do not buy a vehicle from this dealership. They do not stand behind the quality of their vehicles. I purchased a vehicle from them on March 17 for $7200 cash. On April 8 while driving home with my eight-year-old in the vehicle, it burst into flames. Thankfully I was able to remove my child get far away from the vehicle and call 911(Not that that prevented my daughter from having nightmares for weeks). The firetruck came and put out the fire, I had to pay $300 to have it towed to my home. I contacted rides unlimited. The original settlement I talked to was very kind apologized and told me that they would sound a tow truck to pick up my vehicle and get it looked at. Several days later I didn't hear anything I called him back he asked me for a copy of the police report and pictures of the vehicle I emailed them to him. I called to confirm they received them, he assured me that the owner will be calling me later on that day. Several phone calls Emails and text messages later I finally received A message from the owner on April 27. He told me he will be sending someone to grab my vehicle to get it looked at. 58 days, another Payment for tow truck, and several broken promises later, I am still without a vehicle and at over $4000 in repairs. Not at all happy with my experience here. Bought a vehicle from them and everything seemed OK. Two weeks later the check engine light comes on and I take it to the mechanic for a diagnostic. They tell me that the transmission is giving out and it should be covered under warranty. I take it back to the dealership and they have the truck for three days and all they do is simply replace a rubber gasket that they say what's causing the check engine light to come on. The truck still ran horribly and three months later the transmission gave out. Perfect timing because it was no longer covered under warranty. I tried to reach out to them about the issue before it even occurred and they would not return my calls and claim that their phone lines were down at the dealership. We were a bit skeptical at first to purchase from a small dealership but there were dozens of detailed photos on line and we were provided with an excellent 1 owner car-fax report. Adam the salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. We felt no pressure to purchase a vehicle as was the case with many of the large dealerships we had recently visited. When we went back to pick up our SUV it was detailed and ready as promised. The purchase price with all taxes and fees was EXACTLY what Adam had quoted us on our first visit. I called about a van I was interested in and asked them to check it for rust because I live 12 hours from the dealership. I said I wasn't interested if it had rust underneath. I was told the van was rust free, so I paid for an inspection with Lemon Squad. The inspection showed that the van was rusted so badly the frame had holes in it. If the salesman had been honest with me about the rust, I never would have paid for the inspection. I do not recommend doing any long distance transactions with them. Make sure you can see the vehicle yourself first and definitely pay someone to inspect it! I did not purchase a car from this dealer, and I do NOT recommend them. read more

I want to let buyers beware of this small lot of cars located in Crest Hills IL.I took my son to look for an used vehicle, we looked at an Nissan Centra 2012. On the test drive I notice it needed brakes also the door to the gas didn't open. On the car fax it showed it was in 2 accidents it had 140,000 miles. They wanted 5,995 for the car. So I said would he be willing to drop the price down or fix the issues. The salesman name Jason flat out said no. So I asked is there any other issues with the car he said no. I said OK! I said I"m going to take the car next door to have them inspect the car if those are the only issues then I would consider buying. Boy did I make an great move. The rotors on the front were shot with new brake pads also the tire rods were shot. Under the hood there was tape on the hose, instead of replacing the part. It was over 1,000 to fix the repairs. I took it back and showed him all the things that were wrong. No he left because he knew he was being shady, So there is another shady sales person who said that the car is the same price as is. So that was an 40 dollars well spent. There is an lot of shady car lots this is one of them. I took my son to CarLotzs were I bought my used car. Large selection of cars. Some a little rough but not bad. Mile and Jason were very friendly and explained about the car I wanted. I drove a little over 2 hours knowing what I was going after. The car showed well with a fairly good size dent in the lower door and a small amount of rust on the underside of one door again to he expected with a 14 year old car. The price was fair and within market value and negotiated almost wholesale. Lots of bad reviews about this place but over all if you do your research and know what you want they were fair to deal with. I am a former car guy myself and they have to make a little profit. They reviewed the carfax report as well and the wiper blades were shot so they gave me a new set. Overall decent guys to deal with for a low priced low mileage older car. read more

I live in Round Lake Beach, which is more than an 1 1/2 hours away. I went to look at a car and called ahead and asked, are there any issues with the vehicle. They said No, it's in good condition for it's age. I specifically asked, are there any mechanical issues, "No, it drives nice and there are no issues". So after work I took the train to joliet and had a friend pick me up. When we arrived the salesman said, before even getting the key, "The transmission takes a while to warm up, and slips until it's warmed up" so there is a mechanical issue and it's known. Thanks. Yeah, transmission does slips, either low on fluid (no dipstick, sealed) or it's a bad transmission. Thanks! Hop on the 7:10 out of joliet, arrive downtown at 8:35, then catch the 9:45pm outbound from Union and get to my station at 11:15. Total scam dealership. At first glance it looks like a 3rd hand dealership you shouldn't trust (should have listened to my instinct) but the employees will make you feel welcome. I purchased a conversion van from them 2 weeks ago. Before even accepting the vehicle they had to repair the bench seat motor in the back and the car battery as well. On my drive home the brakes were rapidly pulsating. I took it directly to a mechanic who told me the brakes were so worn down that the rotors were ruined from using brakes with no pads. 600 dollars later after replacing the brakes, hoses, calipers, and a lube, I figured the car would be good to go....Not but two days later the starter went out on me, at first I thought it could be the battery and I had it tested at autozone, they saw a crack on the battery and told me it failed their battery test. I then took the van to the chevy dealership and they "highly" recommended that I replace the serpentine belt and shocks since they were both unserviceable. So after a grand total of 1600 dollars later I now have a safe and working vehicle to drive. Do NOT buy from this dealership! read more

Terrible satisfaction. Drove from Wisconsin to purchase car and was told only upon arrival that it had a "SMALL" radiator leak. I figured that's fine just keep it full of coolant and I can make it home no worries. Make it a mile down the road and it overheated. Put coolant in at gas station and it started POURING out, not from the radiator, from the intake. So I drove it back and asked what they would do since it wasn't the radiator but a possible head gasket, they sent me next door the the shop and said they would only pay half the $600 to fix it. Was even more upset when I almost died MULTIPLE times driving it back after it was fixed due to the ENTIRE front end being bad and swerving all over the place. Had to spend another $600 to get the whole front suspension replaced. Stay away from these people, their D- rating with the BBB is deserved. read more
