Awful salesmanship. Ridenow McKinney advertised several Seadoo online. I went to the store and they informed me they were sold out of used PWC. Next day I see more advertisements and reach out on their advertisement links. Sales person calls me 2 days later and informs they have 2 Seadoo like the ones I want to purchase, he sends photos. I ask how many hours they have and final price - no answer then I ask again and I get a response they he was busy on a lunch break and would get back to me. I ping him again and nothing. Next day I ping him again and nothing. I'll spend my $ elsewhere. read more

We went in to buy a new Indian. We had everything worked out, no negotiation necessary. It took 2 visits, multiple emails and hours in the dealership to get the paperwork correct. Every time they brought paperwork over for signatures the numbers were different. This was some shady stuff. The price was wrong, we were double taxed, etc. Then when we were done the person working with us just walked away. Never telling us we were done. We sat there for a while until I finally went and asked and he said we were good. It was weird. The first finance person we were working with was so shady and rude and painfully slow. Sometimes disappearing for 30 mins. I signed paperwork stating there was no charge for the battery program, wheel/tire and security. I even asked him about it and he confirmed to my face they were included. Then miraculously that paper was missing and there were charges for them. He also said the "lo jack", which isn't actually lo jack, will save us 10% on insurance. I work for an insurance company, there's no savings. When we took delivery of the bike my husband drove off with it and the TPMS went off. When he got home the tires were at 20 psi. As he started looking at the bike and reviewing how to work on it he realized the battery cables were loose, the spark plugs were only hand tightened and a couple bolts were stripped. The battery was also dead from sitting in the showroom so we were told they were putting in a new battery. Turns out they just jumped the existing battery. Some of these items are dangerous and it's so scary that they would release the bike like that. I emailed Jena about these items just as an FYI so someone in the future doesn't get hurt but I didn't get a response. We also realized we didn't have the manual, keys, toolkit and the master PIN. That necessitated yet another visit to the dealership. It was clear no bike delivery checklist was done. I later found out from DPS when I tried to get my plates the dealer never registered the bike so according to the state the dealer still owned the bike. This took multiple emails and weeks to resolve. Everything just seemed so disorganized and everybody had different information. Every time we saw paperwork it was different and pages were always missing or wrong. In all honestly it seemed like this was a new dealer making their first sale. The whole experience was just strange. The manager acted like the cared but ultimately didn't really do anything to alleviate the situation. read more

Worst experience I have ever had buying a Motorcycle and this is my 20th motorcycle I have purchased in my lifetime. Then I had them install the accessories and boom they got worse. first, they left my 36K Motorcycle in the rain for a week while I was getting parts installed and when I picked it up the bike was filthy. it had 150 miles on it. As I road home pissed, I was going to have to wash a brand-new bike the seat pad they installed fell of as they didn't tighten the bolts. They also installed an air intake and exhaust I had to go back and tighten the bolts also. good thing I didn't have wheels and brakes adjusted. Thanks for absolutely ruining a purchase I was excited about, Funny as I was negotiating the 2nd time I was in there was a guy waiting for service who was telling me to buy out of state because of the problems he had with this dealership. Thanks for completely pissing all over a purchase I was absolutely excited about. Still haven't heard from the GM who I asked two different employees to have him call me. after reading all these other complaints I now get it. read more

This is a big boys dreamland! I am looking for an All Terrain Vehicle that seats 4! Yeah I know, fun right. The hard part(after seeing the price tags) is finding one in stock that you can look at and maybe take for a spin. These guys have a huge variety of different "Toys" but not a good selection in any one area. Indian motorcycles dominate the showroom then to a lesser extent ATVs, Wave runners etc. Very helpful staff and nice comfortable showroom. If you can wait awhile to order what you want this may be the place to shop. read more

Went in for some parts. Spark plug that lists for 9.99 was 12.99. 30% markup over list? And, if you want to pay by credit card, they add credit card fees on top of it. You can order parts directly from Polaris at list price and have them shipped free to the dealer, but have to pay 30% surcharge if you want to buy from their stock. Wasn't looking for a discount, but certainly wasn't expecting to pay a 30% markup! Service was friendly, efficient, and on point, but not worth a markup as I wasn't seeking help or advice. Twice I have scheduled a test ride for one of their Indian Pursuits. First time the sales person knew what time I would be there and yet I walked around the dealership for half an hour without anyone speaking to me. Yesterday I talked with Russell at 1143 am in internet sales. Asked him on the phone if I would be able to test ride one that evening. Told him I would be there at 1730. I was told that wouldn't be a problem. Got to the dealership at 1735. Walked in and was greeted by Austin. He went and got Russell my Wife and were informed by Russell that he handles internet sales and let us with Austin. Told him what I wanted to do. Some sales manager came up to us with sales numbers on some paperwork. Told him I already had financing I just want to test ride since I had never rode the Pursuit. 45 minutes of back and forth with this pushy ass sales manager. Was told many times that we had financing just want to make sure we like the handling and feel of the motorcycle. Finally we were going to get to test ride. Three separate Pursuits were attempted to be started and none of them would run. My wife and I was fed up and told them never mind forget it. It was 1845 and we were done with it. This dealership knew before noon that we were coming and still didnt have the bike I was looking at ready nor were any of the other ones on the floor able to be rode. Complete waste of our time to drive 30 minutes and spend an hour and half for absolutely nothing. Unprofessional dealership. Will never step foot in there again. read more

Needed to get my motorcycle inspected. Called ahead to see if I needed an appointment. Service guy said no appointment necessary. Rode over, got the inspection, was done in 5 minutes. Don't forget your insurance card, you need it for the inspection. read more

Initial meeting with salesman was good we love our Harley, however it went down hill from there. My husband and I decided we did not want the extended warranty. We called and sent an email stating this. This was in AUGUST 2020 and to date 5-12-2021, we still have yet to have the warranty money refunded. We have made numerous phone calls and spoke to the General Manager, Jay. Every time we call we get an excuse, "the check is in the mail", "the business moved the check must have gotten lost in the mail", "we overnighted the check" (but yet they gave us no tracking number). At this point we feel we have no other option but to file with the Collin County JP and go to small claims court. We WOULD NOT recommend doing business with these people, and will NEVER do business with them again ! ! read more

Took my wife's 2020 F3L Spyder in for its 600 mile service. Told the service manager not to change the air filter since it was a K&N. Picked up the bike and the service manager hands us an unused oil filter and says it's the air filter. You would think @ $160/hr the service techs would know the difference between an air filter and an oil filter. Obviously not. Needless to say, the bike will never go back to Freedom Powersports. read more

Took Polaris Ranger in for routine service. Told regular service would be approximately $1,600.00 not including if they found any issues. Asked if I'd like to buy a Maintenance Agreement for $1,800.00 to cover this and 5 for more routine maintenances. Did so. Now they have found something else wrong and approximate repair cost around $1,800.00 more but we can buy a warranty for $2,000.00 and bring back later and use the warranty for repair. (Seeing a pattern?) Decide to pay out of pocket and cancel the Maintenance Agreement I bought.....BUT IT'S NOT CANCELLABLE!!!!! Still owe $278.00 to get the unit back. Paid the dealership the additional and washed my hands. LESSON LEARNED. Prices are 3 times higher than other Polaris retailers. They charged me $160.00 per hour labor for 6 hours work to do routine maintenance. REALLY!! read more

Forget that I already had a pre-approved loan and was ready to buy. The sales guy quoted me a higher price and acted like I could not afford it and rushed off to serve the White couple. Took my can am commander in to have a rear diff seal replaced and the axle seated properly. I would've done the work myself since it was a fairly easy fix but didn't have the proper tools to do so. After waiting almost two weeks to get my Sxs back I go to pick it up and they had damaged my rear fast boot on the axle. Since I can't prove it wasn't damaged when I brought it in all they would do is charge me another $350 to replace it. So now I'm stuck with a still unusable commander after a $300 bill to replace a seal that shouldn't have taken longer than an hour. Thanks freedom power sports! I have to agree with the other 1 Star postings for this business in McKinney. I went to test ride and buy a Can Am offered for sale there this weekend. Met a nice guy and asked For details on the bike and was told Amanda was the sales associate for this bike and I had to wait for her to free up. Waited a while and was greeted by her. Unfortunately she was not familiar with the bike at all and had no experience or knowledge of these machines. So I ask why does a business hire people with no experience to sell things? I asked 4 basic questions and none were answered as I was told the service department would know. 1 question was answered after she looked it up on her phone with a search. After the test ride I was still very interested in the bike so asked for her best offer. Again she could not answer and went into managements office to return with a paper showing $1350 more than the asking price! When I asked her what the extra $1350 was for she said taxes, service and setup fees. There was one extra fee written on the paper for a charge of over $500 to do a full service On a bike with only 600 miles on it. How can the shop expect the buyer to pay for that? And the taxes should be the 6.25%. The extra amount was for setup fees which I found out they charge $1200 on a new one. So why would they be double charging on A percentage of these as well. Again be careful and maybe go to one of the other shops which I see are much more honest read more

Called on Friday afternoon about price matching a Polaris 450 on atvtrader.com. Said they could match a store in Denton and Tyler. I said I couldn't make it in till Saturday morning, got total and was ready to walk in and pay the next day, even offered my credit card as a deposit. Texted at 9am Saturday morning that I would be in at 11:30am. At 11:25am I got a call saying that the atv was used by the CEO and has 17 hours on it. Meanwhile, I am just down the street so I pulled in. Original salesman was busy so a nice guy said they had another one that just wasn't built yet. I said great, I'll pay and I can pick it up later. Did this whole sales routine where I had to sign the paper and he had to go back to the manager...meanwhile I said we have agreed on price and that is why I am here to pay...showing the new sales guy the ad's on atvtrader.com again. Manager comes out saying they cannot sell me the other atv because the $3999 price that they are matching was only for the used 17 hour one. I stated I was never told yesterday and was only told that 5 minutes ago as I was driving up here at prearranged time. He said "You knew before you got here right?" and being argumentative. I called the Tyler store where there were not any gimmicks and got the exact same atv for $3999 like advertised. Unbelievable that you can agree on price and have everything arranged the previous day, texting 3 hours ahead of time....to only find out literally 5 minutes before the arranged time that I was told misleading information. They knew the whole time, yet the manager was rude when confronted and stated "I knew ahead of time." Be very careful of a bait and switch from this place!! read more
