Unfortunately, this is one experience I cannot stay silent about. Our group recently spent over $8,000 to charter a bus for what should have been a memorable trip. Instead, it turned into one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I've ever had. From the moment we boarded, it was obvious the bus had not been properly cleaned. The floors were filthy, but even worse, the waste tank from the previous trip had never been emptied. Imagine being trapped on a bus for more than seven hours with the overwhelming smell of someone else's sewage. It was nauseating, embarrassing, and completely unacceptable. Instead of immediately correcting the problem, we were forced to spend our own money on air fresheners and cleaning products just to make the ride somewhat bearable. The driver showed little urgency because he wasn't sitting in the back where the smell was the strongest. It wasn't until passengers refused to get back on the bus that the owner finally instructed the driver to empty the waste tank. We hoped that would be the end of it. It wasn't. On the return trip, while driving through heavy rain, the roof began leaking onto passengers and their belongings. When the owner was contacted, rather than expressing concern, he claimed he reviewed the bus cameras and "didn't see" any leak. It's hard to understand how a camera could dismiss what an entire bus full of passengers witnessed firsthand. After spending thousands of dollars, we were left with a dirty bus, unbearable odors, a leaking roof, damaged belongings, and a level of customer service that made us feel like our concerns simply didn't matter. The only resolution offered? A discount on a future trip. Respectfully, no thank you. A company earns trust by how it responds when something goes wrong. In this case, there was no accountability, no genuine apology, and no meaningful effort to make things right. My advice to anyone considering this company is simple: be cautious. Businesses that require full payment upfront should still be held accountable for delivering the quality and professionalism they promised. Once they have your money, you shouldn't have to fight to receive the service you already paid for. I sincerely hope this review encourages the company to improve its standards so that no other family, school, or organization has to endure the experience we did.

A spinoff of Google based in California, Waymo is the first company in…read morethe United States to offer fully autonomous rides, meaning no driver behind the wheel to paying passengers. In January of this year, Miami became the sixth U.S. city to offer Waymo service. Each Waymo vehicle is equipped with 29 cameras, six radars, and five lidar sensors to calculate distance. As of July 2025, the company reported more than 100 million miles driven autonomously without a human behind the wheel and no fatalities. Waymo initially launched service only on city streets but has since expanded to major highways, including Interstate 95, the Dolphin Expressway (State Road 836), and the Palmetto Expressway (State Road 826). The service area now includes Miami Beach, Surfside, and Bal Harbour, as well as Downtown Miami, Brickell, Wynwood, Edgewater, Coral Gables, South Miami, and Dadeland. Waymo has also expanded to Orlando, although service does not currently include Universal Orlando or Walt Disney World. Using the service is simple. You summon a Waymo through the app, which shows the nearest available vehicle. You can enter your destination and manage your route directly within the app. When the vehicle arrives, it remains locked until you select your ride in the app. Once confirmed, the door handles extend and unlock, allowing you to begin your trip. While visiting the Design District, I saw a Waymo vehicle in operation for the first time, although I had previously seen one on display at the Revs Institute in Naples. Watching a car drive down the street with no one in the driver's seat was a little disconcerting at first, but I appreciate the convenience. Finding parking in Miami can be both difficult and expensive, making Waymo an appealing alternative. It seems especially useful during major events or for tourists visiting without a vehicle. Potential drawbacks include longer wait times in some areas and fares that can be higher than those charged by Lyft or Uber. Another limitation is that the service does not currently operate at Miami International Airport. Still the arrival of autonomous ride-hailing marks an exciting new chapter in transportation.
