The price listed on their website was more than doubled once we got further into the process, which felt extremely misleading and like a classic bait-and-switch tactic. When I questioned the massive price increase, I still didn't receive clear or trustworthy answers, which only added to my concerns about the legitimacy of the business. At that point, I chose to cancel rather than risk being scammed. Transparency and honesty matter, especially when customers are making purchasing decisions based on advertised pricing. We booked BlackRide for shuttle service from the Fort Lauderdale cruise terminal to Miami Airport for what we expected to be a reliable, stress-free experience. What we got was chaos, mismanagement, and outright dishonesty. Our pickup was scheduled for 9:30 AM. After disembarking, we received no communication from the driver. Calling the office, we were told the driver was "running late due to traffic" and would arrive at 10:00 AM. For a supposedly professional black car service, this level of poor planning is unacceptable. At 10:00 AM, still with no confirmation, I called the office again and we were given the driver's contact info. Roberto, the driver, initially said he had no record of our pickup. After another call to the office, we were assured Roberto would come and were promised a full refund for the delay. Roberto arrived at 10:45 AM -- an HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES late -- and revealed he hadn't even been dispatched until 10:10. It was obvious the office had scrambled at the last minute to find someone, leaving us stressed and frustrated. Three days later, when I asked about the promised refund, the company said they would only credit 20%, directly contradicting their promise of a full refund. This company is not only unreliable, but also dishonest. BlackRide cannot be trusted. They failed on every level -- scheduling, communication, and integrity. We booked two rides from BlackRide on our recent trip to Orlando, FL. We were a big group of 14 and happy to state that our driver, Anthony, was outstanding. He was on time, handled both our transportations without a hitch, and was very friendly and professional. Both the rides were smooth and he got us from the Hotel to Port Canaveral and then again from Port Canaveral to airport efficiently. Used this company for transportation to and from the Port of Miami in December 2025. Great service, fantastic drivers. Booked them again for mid-January 2026. Unfortunately we had a medical situation arise and had to cancel about 1 1/2 days prior to the scheduled booking. I was charged a $40 cancellation fee ($20 each trip). Kind of disappointing since I was a return customer. The cancellation policy was provided, but still, seems like they could've charged lesser or just for the first ride, and not the second which was more than a week away. Live and learn! Booked them for my parents 50th anniversary trip. Then tried emailing them with some general questions about arrival and never got a respond. Called them after a week to be questioned ok what email address I used (umm the one on your website, check your junk mail maybe?), to then confirm it would be a set hourly rate for any changes. On the return trip, I tracked it and it was 3 hours total, they charged my card for 4 hours 4 days prior to the trip? Never informed me, I contacted them, and they said it was a 4 hour min, upon which I told them to check the email Chain where they told me it was a TWO hour minimum. I even then asked for a refund of $100 with the remaining $30 going towards an additional tip for the driver on top of the original tip. Then, instead of apologizing or even acknowledging the mistake, they said it was a 4 hour trip and I replied that it was 3 hours. Their response: "Not true Sarika, Not sure what is the purpose of this.. Attached is the screenshot of Passenger on Board and Drop off Time. We never had similar issue that you are trying to do now. ". Like I was trying to cheat them! At this point I'm a "hold my earrings" kind of pissed bc kind of shitty customer service is this? Then I reply back saying I have a text message from my mom with timestamps top of when she got picked up and dropped to the airport, def showing 3 hours. I would highly recommend Blackride for any transportation you might need in Miami. We used them for return transfers between airport and hotel and also hotel and cruiseport. Booking and payment was a very easy process, and the cost was transparent with no hidden charges . I contacted them on a number of occasions to make alterations or confirm pick up times or arrangements and emails were answered quickly and nothing was too much hassle. All drivers and vehicles were very well presented. There was cold drinks and various phone chargers available for use in all vehicles. All drivers were punctual and contacted me in advance of pick ups to advise me of exact pick up point, this was particularly helpful at the very busy cruiseport. I would definitely use their services again should I visit Miami again and would have no hesitation in recommending this company to friends or family visiting the area. read more

DO NOT book!! NEVER SHOWED UP!!! I reached out to them to book a shuttle to take me and my bridesmaids on my bachelorette trip from a restaurant in Pompano Beach to a bar in Fort Lauderdale at 10PM. I got a better price from another shuttle company, but Blackride assured me they would be able to pick us up promptly at 10PM (the other shuttle was cheaper, but couldn't get to us until about 10:30PM). Well as you can guess, 10PM came and went, and the driver never showed up. Myself as well as my other bridesmaids must have called every phone number they had on their website, sent numerous emails, and never got an answer. By the time 1030PM rolled around, we realized they weren't coming so we ended up Ubering, which defeated the whole purpose because I really wanted to be with all of my bridesmaids heading to the bar, and in order to Uber, we had to split up. They didn't respond until the next morning and all they said was that the shuttle driver got a flat tire and since their offices are closed at that time, they had no one to contact us. I'm sorry, if you run a 24/7 company you need to have a customer service representative available 24/7. Not to mention, the shuttle driver himself didn't have a phone? IN 2025? What if he couldn't find us? I also attached pictures of the text messages as well as a screenshot of their website with "24 hour customer support". The whole thing was ridiculous and completely unprofessional. $225 is still pending on my credit card and I'm waiting for my refund. I booked BlackRide to transport my daughter and her friends from Port of Miami to Fort Lauderdale on November 2, 2024. They dropped them off at the wrong hotel, different than the address I gave them at the time of booking and charged them an additional $90 for their mistake. I called and asked them why they did not note the exact address that I gave and charged so much, and was told that the driver confirmed the address upon pickup and that was the address they recorded that I gave. I told them that was not the address I gave and I want to heard this recording and they put me on a long hold. This confirms my opinion of Miami shuttle services- they don't care about anything but the $$ and throw customer service to the side. If the total trip was $90 more then ok, but I just wanted them to admit there was a mistake in communication and return the overcharge for the ride, not charge for a complete new ride.
