Rico's Tacos is a great spot if you are looking for authentic street tacos done right and done quickly. My order came out super-fast, and the portions of meat in each taco were generous and satisfying. One thing I really liked is how the tacos come plain and you get to build them yourself at a separate toppings station. It is a nice touch and lets you customize everything exactly how you want it. The red and green salsas are both fantastic and were definitely standouts for me. Another unique part of the experience is the location. It is set right in the middle of a market that sells fresh tortillas (machine made) and has a great aisle with a huge tequila selection. They also have a bakery section with authentic Mexican breads and pastries which is a great bonus if you want something sweet after your meal. There are plenty of other Mexican and Hispanic grocery items as well, so you can grab what you need while you are there. If you want quick, flavorful, and authentic street tacos, this is definitely a place worth checking out.

Amazing tacos, I think honestly best I've ever had in my life. You can't go wrong with any of the options they have.

I got the enchiladas de mole and the shrimp a la diabla, which had some pretty unique flavors and complexity. Fair warning the shrimp a la diabla was the spiciest thing I have ever had. It was really good but definitely not the faint of heart. It was sooooo spicy that I was sweating. The enchiladas was very good as well. The mole sauce had an interesting bitterness to it. I liked it very much. I highly recommend you ordering that one. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and I would come back to try more of their food.

On this 85° day , the A/C wasn't working. They put a small bowl of chips on our table. (Supposedly homemade) They were greasy with very little flavor. My husband got a bottled beer. I asked for iced water. It came in a styrofoam cup, no lid, no straw, no ice. I asked for ice. They brought some in a small plastic bowl. I had no silverware to help the ice into the glass. Our food came separately. My husband's steak fajita was extremely tough with few veggies. Five minutes later, my cheese quesadilla arrived. It was small and on the plate was one plastic fork. A roll of paper towels was on the table. We wanted to love this place, but sadly we won't be back.

They must have switched locations since I reviewed…read more This time I went in for the supermarket to get specific spices. If you have specific spices for teas like I do, check out the wall of bag spices AND the selection of plastic containers (in another aisle). I feel bad for writing this because such a large store and the amount of work the employees spend on keeping it organized was impressive. Asking them to reorganize maybe the most "gringo" thing I could do, but I had to ask a customer and her daughter? tried to find the specific spice...they had to ask a worker that took me to the plastic container aisle. BUT- the major thing is that El Morelia offered the spice. Plus others that I wanted try! My other mistake was not visiting during the week and eating at the in store restaurant. On Saturday my bill was almost restaurant prices from a few years ago. During the week prices are more reasonable. The toppings bar completely changes the taste combination and value. Definitely "as-good-as-it-gets"! The employees were restocking bread container with fresh loaves with a sign stating "3 loaves for $2"... I grabbed 3 and just ate one- phenomenal! Not sure if it is sourdough, but it is definitely fresh and delicious! Mexican sodas variety would make Sam's Club jealous. Far more grocery selection than I ever imagined. The store is an old warehouse, but it is clean and well-stocked.
