We picked a rich brown, she applied the color, said she would be back in 15 minutes but returned 25 minutes later. By then, my hair was black. After rinsing and drying, it was so dark, I was upset. She took forever it seemed to do a trim of 1/2 inch, and I just wanted to get out of there. No, I did not complain to the owner or stylist, but I should have; I was just upset, and the stylist knew it. I just need to find someone I can trust and who is experienced. I ended up going home and finding a product online that would strip out color gently, and after 3 applications of this product, my hair looked medium brown again instead of black. So disappointed in this local salon; maybe they should monitor or mentor their new hires better. I had gone here before for a trim with a different stylist, and she did do a good job, but she is part-time and is hard to schedule with.

But after discussing which color and haircut I wanted, Jad told me that he is charging me $50 more as my hair was "long"! Like common, $50 extra for a few inches of extra hair! Groupon has not mentioned this anywhere. What's the point of using a Groupon if the salons can charge whatever they want based on some excuse. I am not at all happy with this kind of treatment, so anyone of you out there visiting Jad with a Groupon, be ready to be charged extra!

I've been getting regular highlights for years and didn't want that look anymore. Showed pics of the look I wanted but the stylist talked me out of it saying my hair was too thin to freehand, the grey on the top of my head needed camouflaging, and it would take a lot longer to do. See model pic for the color I asked for. My own fault that I gave in, so now I have an all over my head color, not the color or the application I wanted but not horrible. The service took 3 hours. Lora the stylist was very nice and explained everything to me along the way. However, I do not like when stylists cut hair dry. When you do that hair gets everywhere, and you can't style the new cut because the hair is already dry. So, I couldn't tell what the cut really looked like because the hair was dried flat to my head. The next day I styled it myself and thankfully the cut was good. I will also say that I thought that $200 was high: $125 for highlights, $48 for cut, and $20 tacked on for shades (no idea what that is). I really liked the shop and think there may be other stylists there that can give me the color I want. So maybe I'll give it one more try. As for COVID precautions, the checkout was not contactless and some stylists don't wear masks.

Okay.. Where do I start. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this place and that is an understatement…read more My first appointment started out great, but it went down hill rapidly from there. My first appointment was with Vicki. Don't get me wrong, she does not hair, but it not reliable with appointments and will cancel the day of regardless. This happened more than once. Frustrated, I took another fill-in for her named Katrina. WOW, first off, she was LATE by about 20 min. I didn't mind that she was late, but she didn't even have the decency to apologize for the inconvenience. She was extremely unprofessional and I don't like people doing my hair, whose hair (her weave) looks a mess. Sure enough, my hair look HORRIBLE. I was not happy whatsoever. I gave her a nice tip regardless and she took it and walked away. LOL, crazy right? I called and complained about my hair and Tolando, who is the manager of this salon took me the next time. Hmmmm.. Where do I start with this one? Well I had a coupon for my next appointment that they give when your a first time customer. Tolando give me a hair cut and cut one side about a half inch shorter than the other. I WAS SOOO PISSED. She just shrugged her shoulders and didn't care when I told her. Then she tried to overcharge me and I said something. I ended up paying more for the same thing that I got the previous two times AND I had a coupon this time... Isn't that a bit weird? YES! I talked to her about it and she just said, "Well the other girls were ringing you up wrong"....MMMMMM DOUBT IT. I doubt someone who has been working in a salon for that amount of time doesn't know how to ring up someone. Bottom line, extremely unprofessional. I found another hair stylist at another salon who keeps appoints and a consistent price. It is a shame, but I can see why the salon is always DEAD and I'm the only one there. It is because how they treat their customers and the level of professionalism. Do not let their fancy wallpaper and chairs fool you. I was fooled.
