All the stylists are incredibly nice, talented, and up-to-date on the latest styles. They all attend hair shows and still take classes, which I LOVE! I recently got the shilac non-chip manicure done also and love it! My favorite stylist is Jen Arias. Honestly, I have been going to her for years and have trusted her with my locks under the most extreme occasions, even when I was undergoing chemotherapy. She has been there for me through thick hair and thin hair, very short hair, and very long hair. She was there for me on my sister's wedding day and my wedding day with nine bridesmaids when the salon was supposed to be closed. She's been there when I went through a divorce and needed to feel good again. She recommends the best and right products and gives me the best cuts for my hair type. After chemo, my hair grew back thick and curly thanks to Jen. Also, Jen is a miracle worker when it comes to color. She is the color queen! In my experience, my hair does not hold color well due to the medication I am on. However, Jen uses a combo of tones to give my hair this awesome, red velvet RED. There is not a day that goes by that I don't receive compliments about my gorgeous, luscious RED hair. Recently, Jen cut about 10 inches of my long thick hair off and completely changed my old look to an updated chic inverted bob that I can wear straight or luckily, curly! We also like to play with my color a bit. Yes, it is still an awesome shade of RED, but with chunky deeper red low-lights. It is GORGEOUS and SUPER CHIC! I have been getting even MORE compliments everywhere I go, and everyone wants to know who does my hair. I have had to write the salon, their phone number and Jen's name down on the back of my business card for people I don't even know! Jen is kind, beautiful, talented, and takes her career seriously. She helps give me confidence, by making me look good and feel good about myself. I will always trust Jen with my self-esteem and my hair. :)

I was finally able to find her again through Diva's Facebook page and I'm so glad. I booked a haircut and full highlight, wanting to go back to my natural color so my hair could continue to grow and be healthy. I didn't realize I should have booked for a color correction, but Michelle moved her clients around to give more time to do my hair. I would have been more than understanding to reschedule, but thankful she was able to fit me in! One of the other ladies was amazing as well running to the store to get more product for my hair. It doesn't look like a huge change, but this was removing box color from my hair so it could better match my roots and a treatment to prevent damage. I am also not a huge talker and shy during appointments like this, but it didn't feel awkward at all and I had a chance to just enjoy being pampered and relax. Overall, I'm so grateful Michelle and the ladies were so accommodating and understanding with me. There wasn't frustration even for a split second. I will continue coming back to Michelle and recommending Diva's to everyone!

On my first visit, 7/21/18, we talked about the disaster that was my hair and what could be done and how long it would take to fix it. By my 3rd visit, on 11/10/18, I became a believer in her skill and know that she'll be my stylist for the rest of my days in IL. Linda is meticulous and actually listens to what you're looking for. Tammy was more than happy to answer any of them, she gave me all the time in the world and showed me many pictures of her previous work. After talking to her I felt confident and scheduled the appointment. She was very willing to work with my schedule which was a tough one. She came in on her day off and even earlier than normal business hours. So 1st appointment.. very thing was very professional and clean. She never rushed once. She took all the time she needed to draw on the brows, measured them several times, let me look and make suggestions on where I thought they needed changed. She never rushed me as I stared into the mirror 100 times to be sure I was happy with the drawings. The drawing process took around 2 hours.. now onto the numbing and starting the micro blading. The numbing cream work perfect, there was no pain only thing I felt was the pressure of the blade. She did her thing, asked me several times "you doing okay" and when she was near the end once again she let me look to see if I seen anywhere that needed a few more strokes. We both agreed they looked awesome. She cleaned them up and put the liquid bandage on. Explained the healing process, gave me some hand outs and stressed that this was a dry heal. DO NOT GET WET!! She even offered to wash my hair in a few days if needed to be sure I didn't get my eyebrows wet. The next 8 weeks of healing went perfect. 2nd appointment.. went just as well as the 1st. She asked me where I thought they needed touched up as I am the one that has looked at them everyday for the last 8 weeks. She did the touchup where I suggested and also added some where she felt they needed it. Letting me look several times to make any changes I wanted. End Result.. PERFECT EYEBROWS!!! SOO REAL LOOKING! I would recommend Tammy to anyone. Very professional and caring! A+

I actually chose this salon because of the reviews I read here, and I'm SO glad I did!! I was changing my hair big time (it was down to the middle of my back, dead at least to my shoulders and I wanted to get it to blonde from the red it was *unnatural manic panic blood red*, and I knew how hard it was going to be to try and lift that color out without my hair turning completely orange) and I needed someone that would listen to what I wanted and do it RIGHT. Melissa is that person! I called on Thursday and spoke to Melissa, telling her all of this, and she made me an appointment for that Saturday afternoon and cleared her schedule for the rest of that day. I could not be more happy with the way my hair turned out!! She did her best to lift out the red, and she ended up bleaching out as much as she could, and in the end we decided to leave what was bleached and have light pink streaks throughout the rest of my hair, it turned out kinda like a reverse ombre, and I LOVE it!! I showed her a picture of how I wanted it cut, and she did it BETTER! I wanted it very short in the back, longer strands on the sides and cute side bangs in the front. Most salons boast that they are up to date on the latest cuts and styles when they definitely are not, all they know are layers and straight edges. Melissa understood exactly what I wanted, and the fact that certain cuts are SUPPOSED to be uneven, whether it be the back, sides, bangs etc. Now that I have found Jagged Edge, I will not go anywhere else, and will recommend this salon to everyone that I know!
