The chimney was in such bad shape that a major fix was about 40% of the cost of a complete rebuild. We agreed to opt for the complete rebuild. Our original chimney was made of adobe stones, which aren't available any longer. But. Ryan had a very similar product that we chose that was similar in color and size. They were very quick at demolishing the old chimney and had the new one up quickly as well. It looks fantastic! I can definitely say that Apex has my highest opinion of the job they did.

When we called Tanner, he met us at the cemetery the next day and we arranged to go to his shop the following day to look at his work and place our order. We ordered a headstone, bench and marker for our daughter to be placed in our newly purchased family plot. We felt the quoted price was fair and reasonable. In fact, our items were completed in a few weeks and Tanner invited us to come up the shop to see the finished products. Needless to say, they were exactly what we wanted!! We further discussed the curb/wall that we wanted due to the hilly nature of the cemetery. Tanner was very honest with us when he explained that his current workload would not allow him to complete that work by the timeline needed to bury our daughter's cremains on her birthday. We appreciated the referral he gave us for another contractor. Unfortunately, the quote we received was much more than we could afford, so we decided to tackle the project ourselves. Over the course of the next 2 1/2 months, we spoke with Tanner in person and via email SEVERAL times and he was always kind, supportive and helpful. Since my husband and I were working at the cemetery almost every day, we saw Tanner and his crew a few times. They came over to see what we had accomplished, gave suggestions and told us that we were doing great job (much needed encouragement since we had never done anything like it before). When we talked with them about our daughter, it seemed that they genuinely cared about her and the loss our family had experienced. It was if they were old friends, sharing in our grief. As our daughter's birthday approached, Tanner and his team delivered our items, installed them and wished us well. It was a comfort to see such caring people who truly love what they do. The high standard they have for their workmanship is impeccable, their job is physically demanding and difficult and kudos to them for being a resource for people during one of the most difficult times in their lives. We came in to speak to someone about a crack on our counter…read more I have to say that we were very happy with the install and help of their installers. BUT after owning it for 4 years we saw a crack that is an about 16 inches long on the surface. We met with and tried to explain what we were experiencing, not to complain about the craftsmanship or quality of their quartzite but to look for solitons to see what we can do about the crack. We were just met with nastiness and blame on how we probably stood on top of it, or that how our house settled, or that we somehow damaged it ourselves. Again we were not looking to blame or shame them, just someone to come out to take a look at give us options. We showed Nico pictures and he insisted we had to take different ones in which we did and he said he will send someone out to take a look.. no one ever came and he was nasty wirh us throughout the entire process. Its really sad because we paid over $10k for the stone and install. Theses guys do not take responsibility for anythjng and will shame you for even asking. BEWARE!!!!
