I called the establishment 45 minutes prior to my appointment to confirm that I was on the books and that they were on schedule. The person who answered the phone said that he saw my appointment on the books but was not sure if it was for 10:30 or 11 as it was written on two lines in the scheduling book?? I should have taken that as a sign. This would have been a prime opportunity for them to tell me that they were running 1 hour behind schedule and that they had double booked all the appointments for that day (these are their words not mines). I made it clear in my initial confirmation call that this was my first time at the establishment. When I made the appointment a week ago I was told that a simple wash and wax could be done in about an hour and that there was a waiting room. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment time to make sure that I did not lose my spot. I have no clue why I did not leave until 1:05. The wash and wax was basic at best. After a quick walk around I identified several spots in which the wax residue was left on the car. I was also surprised that a professional detail shop would wash and wax a car in direct sunlight??? There was no two bucket process so yes, the dirty water was just recycled back onto the car along with the same rag. In my opinion this was just a young man who washes cars but a detailer he is not. I was even surprised to later find out that this guy was the owner of the place and made no effort to apologize for the wait. If you work hard for your money and expect a certain level of service i would probably pass this place by. read more
