A very long-overdue review for Shirin Bakery! We've been ordering cakes from them for several years…read morenow, and they have consistently been wonderful. I'm sharing just a few pictures from our last three events this year, but there have been many beautiful cakes over the years! Their cakes are always incredibly moist, fresh, and delicious, and they look just as amazing as they taste. The quality has always been consistent, which is why we continue coming back for our special occasions. Their customer service is also always on point friendly, helpful, patient, and accommodating. They really take the time to listen to what you're looking for and make the ordering process so easy. After several years and many celebrations, Shirin Bakery continues to be one of our favorites. These three cakes are just the latest examples! Beautiful work, delicious cakes, and wonderful service every time.

It's walking distance from work when you need a quick cake for someone birthday. Our favorite is the tres leche cake. Its not overly sweet or mushy. The cake can hold up to the 3 milks and fruits. Tried the rosca de reye large size today. It tasted like a most cinnamon roll. I was so happy with ours. It was moist and not dry. We inhaled it at work. It said 3 babies but we only found 2.

As long as no lives were lost, and no fights were involved all is fine. For us all is fine. There was a terrible event that happened; but, it was addressed very sincerely. I ordered a quarter sheet flagship Berries and Cream cake withe customized details on the cake. It was a birthday cake for 3 people. Shivon showed me a sample of what I would see. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, on the way to our house, the driver had a near accident. The cake was ruined. We needed the (surprise) birthday cake at the house before the birthday people came to the house so it would not be seen. The driver was supposed to be at my house before 10:00AM. He was making good time; but when 10:05 came, we started getting worried. When he did arrive he showed us the smashed cake you see in the picture. I sent the picture to Shivon and she sounded like she was going to have a heart attack! She profusely apologized and told me she was going to make this better. She went overboard!! I supposed knowing that there were 3 birthday people she made 3 separate different flavored small round cakes (not that little I might add!), a dozen cupcakes . I am not a fan of sweets; but, all of the cakes and cupcakes I tasted were excellent! And yes, per the menu very expensive- but for the quality, so worth it. I wish I had taken pictures of the cakes she sent. But, we were rushing around so much by that time, I couldn't. The driver however took pictures. So, if Shivon can get them up on this post, you will be able to see what I mean by going overboard! Shivon is more than just a salesperson she is a very sincere and empathetic person. We will definitely be back. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is that the delivery person should have contacted Shivon as soon as it was known that the cake was ruined so she could have started on a new cake, or at least prepared Shivon for a situation that she would not have had to freak out on! SO UNPROFESSIONAL. when she asked for an immediate response on flavors, I responded within minutes. The next day, I didn't hear from her so I texted, the following day. I called and she was irritated because it was her Saturday and she told me how busy her Saturdays are and ushered me off the phone promising me that I was on her list of people to call on Monday. I definitely felt her irritation so I said are you sure and she assured me she was going to call me on Monday. She flaked. I never want to do business with someone who is unprofessional, angry, and forgetful. Be forewarned!

My best friend was born in England and had a stunning collection of English tea cups, which were lost, along with her home in the Palisades fire. Cake Bash Studios created the most beautiful cake for my friend's birthday. It was so authentic that my friend thought it was an actual "extra large" tea cup with the cake baked inside. She was in awe when the restaurant cut into the tea cup. It was chocolate with strawberries and her husband described it as "luxuriuos". We all enjoyed after dinner, but they enjoyed as a special treat the next day for breakfast!!! Brittany was kind and communicative. I stopped by Sunday around 1 to pick up some pastries on my way to a friend's house. It's located in a plaza with a small parking lot. First thing you notice when you step in is that they have a lot of cakes on display. There's no seating either, it's strictly a grab and go place. Both times I came, someone was picking up a cake ahead of me, so that's definitely what to get here. I asked the cashier, and she said that you can either call or came in person to place a cake order. You can also come by and pick up one of their ready made cakes. Will keep this place in mind for the future. I picked up a number of pastries and tried some of them at my friend's place. Here's what I tried: Slice of vanilla roll cake ($2) - very moist but not much cream Almond croissant ($3.50) - loved the almond filling Sponge cake ($2.75) - delicious! Almond cookie ($0.35 each) - tastes exactly like the almond cookies I ate growing up Cream puff ($2) - this was the only thing I didn't like.
