My order was made to perfection!!…read more Royal Velvets fulfilled my request as ordered. The cupcakes I ordered were absolutely delicious!! So much so that there was hardly any left the next morning. I indulged in my blue velvet order and I have to say that it was moist and airy and fun to eat. I did request a buttercream frosting and a chocolate crown topping and got both. The appearance of the cupcakes made my guests feel excited. My niece went to work and uncontrollably divulged 4 of them!!! Wow, wow, wow!!! What a delicious experience. I will definitely be ordering deserts from Royal Velvets. Everything from the customer service to the actual deserts were made with a loving touch. Many thanks for all the personal touches and attention to detail on my order.

The location here in Woodland Hills is at the Topanga village right near the front/parking lot area. It was easy to find and walkable. The store itself was a throwback to those cute 50s bakery style shops. Adorable, I absolutely loved it. Decor was super cute and the inside was clean and spacious for window shopping. The staff are what make this bakery magical. Everyone was so so nice and helpful. They were even extra sweet to my friend and threw in a freebie for her as she is having her baby soon. The staff answered all my questions as it was my first time and were knowledgeable about the menu. I walked out with some delicious thin chocolate chip cookies and my friend got a cupcake. Great spot and would highly recommend checking them out if you have a sweet tooth or want some seriously impressive baked goods for a party/event.

First of all, yeah sure cute place…read more The oolong tea wasn't great quality and a bit sweet for my liking. But that's not why I'm even leaving the review. When I was leaving the lot, I had only had 2 sips and I'd barely put the straw in. It basically exploded everywhere. I went back to explain to the guy and was like I didn't even drink it, I was just leaving the lot. And he just says it was intact when I gave you, maybe you need a plastic bag next time?? It looked like a cup defect to me which has never happened. He was rude and unhelpful; didn't really want to talk. Common courtesy would be to just replace the drink even if a smaller size. Never coming back. And look at the other reviews they'll also tell you how the customer service is here.

I spoke to her about options and we went with vanilla and Italian buttercream. She made us a small layered round for cake cutting and the cake table and then three sheet cakes to be served from the kitchen. It looked great and we loved the taste. Everyone told us how delicious it was. The cake wasn't too dense, or too fluffy, and really felt like a true wedding cake. Don't let the name period pastries fool you. Dani is a true professional and I would hire her again in a heartbeat. ** for weddings, we found a lot of bakeries charge so much because they have to send a decorator with the cake to do any touch-ups on-site if the cake gets messed up in transit but Dani does everything herself so it's a gigantic benefit and overall savings.

I tried calling multiple times but no one picked up so I went onto their website and ordered the cake thru Gold Belly for $164.94. I placed the order on the 18th, it was scheduled to ship on the 20th and to arrive on the 21st. On the 19th, an email came over from Gold Belly with the tracking for the cake. On the 20th the tracking was still showing only the label was created and the package was not yet received by UPS. By the end of day on the 20th, UPS still showed that the package was not yet received. I tried reaching out to Gold Belly and they attempted to reach out to the bakery with no success and I tried calling the bakery again with no success at reaching anyone. I reached out again to the bakery on the morning of the 21st and still no success so I reached back out to Gold Belly and they advised that they would update me as soon as they got a hold of anyone. I let them the stress and frustration that I was feeling and that the cake was for my husband's birthday party that night and customer service told me there's still a chance for the cake to be delivered. The cake never arrived for my husband's birthday and the customer service reps couldn't care less. On Monday, 8/24, I received an email that my cake has been picked up and the expected delivery is Wednesday, 8/26. When the cake was finally delivered, there was NO dry ice in the packaging to keep the perishable cool in this heat making the cake unsafe to eat, the icing was melted and the cake completely destroyed. This was the most disappointing experience. I highly recommend buying from a bakery who values their customers and have pride on the delivery of their final product.
