Ordered from Chasing Pastries again for 2 dozen macarons for a friend's sons 3rd birthday party. I picked strawberry and salted caramel flavors and asked Sophy to do whatever colors she felt fit. They came out so beautifully: blue strawberry and sprinkled salted caramel colors. They also tasted amazing with perfect macaron texture!! They are perfectly crisp on outside, but yet chewy moist on the inside. Flavors really come through and not overly sweet. I met the owners, Rob and Sophy, prior to Chasing Pastries fruition and seeing how deep their passion is for food. It really exudes in the time, creativity and devotion they put into all that they create in the kitchen. From the most delicious desserts, colorful and elegant cakes, and other special pastries and breads that come out of the oven --- they hands down, by far nailed the perfection of sweetness, fluff, and a good moist that taps your pallet at every bite. I recently had the pleasure in tasting samples of their scones. As I have never really been a scone person, due to some I've had in the past being too dense and dry, it never really peaked my craving to try again. Sophy was absolutely amazing and she really came thru with absolutely gorgeous and delicious cupcakes for my daughter's first birthday party. She was responsive and communicated really well with me throughout the entire ordering process, making sure she understood exactly what I wanted. I sent her pics of the frosting colors and she matched them perfectly! The result was so beautiful and exactly what I had envisioned! There was a little hiccup with some of the frosting on the cupcakes getting damaged during transport, but Sophy went back and made more frosting and came back to my house and re-decorated the cupcakes that were damaged! She felt bad that they got damaged so she even gave me a discount, even though they were absolutely perfect after redecorating. You can tell she really cares about her customers and her baking art. She even threw in 2 free jumbo cupcakes for my daughter to sing happy birthday and some additional mini cupcakes. These beautiful cupcakes were the perfect decoration for my bubble themed party!
