Amazing class! We had Luke as an instructor for a chilly weekend class in mid December. Luke was a wealth of knowledge. Full of great tricks and tips that really stick with you. I still find myself remembering little sayings that help me remember tricks to stay safe. Luke was patient, kind, but also pushed us to be our best, and always stressed safety above all else. The class was structured toward success for all students and made me feel welcome and supported. Took the beginning class with Ricky and Stacie this past weekend. It was a great class. I thought I had read 10 hours of classroom time and 5 on the bike but it was the opposite a pleasant surprise. High temps were close to 80 and it was hot. So plan accordingly. Ricky provided lots of good information I would definitely go back for additional classes. read more

Worst customer service ever! Went to one of his classes, ended up having to leave an hour into the class do to a medical emergency. Ricky told us if we wanted take the class another time, that we have to pay in full again. We ended up taking the class through Full throttle. Best thing we could've ever done! read more

I took the basic MSF course four years ago at a different school and have been getting as much bike time in over that time as I could. My bike is a dual sport and after four years of riding mainly on pavement, I finally felt confident enough to narrow the gap between my bike's abilities and my own limitations as a rider. I took the Dual Sport Adventure course with Ricky Orlando as my first formal instruction in the dirt. My previous approach of just putting myself on a trail and trying to figure it out through trial and error only resulted in damage to my bike and damage to my body. Ricky pointed out several bad habits that I had developed over the past four years and empowered me to correct these mistakes. His approach is one of patience and detailed explanations. At the end of the course, I was exhausted both mentally and physically but I felt like I made more than a year's worth of progress in the four hours I spent with Ricky. Without formal instruction, I was just practicing and repeating the wrong way of doing things until they just became a part of how I rode. The value of the education I received is incredible. I look forward to taking more classes here in the future. Just by incorporating a couple of the tweaks that he had pointed out to me, my ride home from the class felt totally different from my ride there just four hours prior. read more

I took the MSF basic class. The goal was to get my motorcycle endorsement, and that did happen. I'm not overly thrilled with the instruction. Honestly, I shouldn't have passed the practical exam. That being said, Ricky passed me after yelling at me in front of the class. So at this moment, I'm thinking I paid the $275 for the endorsement, and not the class. I'm a believer in the notion of praise in public, criticize in private. Ricky also mentioned, that out of 200 students annually, he could only get 5 people to take the intermediate class as a rule. Go figure. I come to find out, I could have come back, paid $60 for a re-test on the practical, and probably would have signed up for the intermediate class. I say probably, because the following day after the class, I signed up for an intermediate class elsewhere. I'm sure this wasn't everybody's experience, but it was mine. read more
