If you are looking to become a parent CNA, don't choose this school. Metro Life Medical Education…read moreis where is finished my course after I was kicked out of this school for leaving my first honest review online. There are several reasons not to choose this school. First, it's entirely online but full of glitches and you won't get any help from the teacher Lisa if you ask a question- you'll be told to check the FAQ page even if your answer can't be found there. Lisa accused me of cheating more than once on the piles of homework she assigns. The material isn't hard enough that anyone would need to cheat, but there's a lot of it. She also uses an old model of the textbook which is twice as long as the newest edition, so there are tens of hours of extra homework. She will give you a drug test, which no other school requires, and will kick you out for THC, a legal and medically accepted substance. As the mother of a medically complicated baby, the amount of added stress I experienced trying to get this certification from this school was unbelievable and greatly affected my post partum depression. If you're a parent CNA, you won't want to deal with this person.

RefactorU throws a lot of information at you in a short time, but in a really well-structured way so that you actually have time to learn it all, and learn it all well. I'm astounded by how much I learned, and how dedicated the instructors were to supporting our experience: from TAs who come in on the weekends to offer help, to being responsive when not-totally-kosher sexist jokes were being made in class (hey, it's the tech industry, right?). They organize events with employers and recruiters to help you make connections. They know they only succeed when their students succeed, and they are all about that. My only complaint is that, being as successful as they are, they have been growing a lot, and for my personal learning style, our class was too big. We had 33 people, so there were quite a few of us sharing the instructors' attention. It was also often a very loud work environment (33 people in one room), which for me usually meant having to choose between leaving and going somewhere quiet to get work done, or being in a room where I have access to help from instructors and classmates. Overall, I'm glad I went and really impressed by what they accomplish as a school. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

I cannot imagine my life now without the skills and the friends I made and learned at RefactorU. I want to thank everyone there for being there for all of us in my cohort! The course is first rate, and I wouldn't trade my time there for the world. Chris in particular is an AMAZING instructor and human being, and the material presented truly did prepare me well for a real-world job as a developer. I made some great friends and got a great job (only took me 3 weeks after I graduated!), and I cannot tell you how happy I am. I solve puzzles every day, design beautiful websites, and go home every night happy (and well paid!). Thanks to everyone at RefactorU, I love what I do and do what I love.

The staff of Spartan College Denver truly care about the student. I have seen them work tirelessly to help a student find housing, get a job, limit student debt and at times be a shoulder to cry on for students who may be going through a difficult time. To the staff and faculty of Spartan College Denver, students are never a number. Student success is how they define their own success. From the Dean of the college all the way down to the instructors, it is a team effort to make sure the each student of Spartan is successful and ready to take on the industries of Avionics and Aviation Maintenance. Take it from my many years of experience with several colleges. If you want a career in aviation and also want a school that truly cares about students and student outcomes, this is where you need to be. You can read review after review but until you see for yourself, these reviews are meaningless unless you witness it firsthand. So do yourself a favor and schedule a tour, meet with Career Services, Student Services, Admissions, and the Instructors. Trust me, you will not be disappointed.
