This was the worst experience ever. We requested Dan and we were told we would have Dan. The day of we show up with 19 people I find out we won't have Dave and Jessica the lady at the front was like oh no one called you!? Umm no cause we would if either cancelled or rescheduled. We paid a total of 1700 for everything and it was sub par. Our driver played sad music that makes you want to cry. And the one we picked was the rockin roller coaster which is literally EXACTLY like the night time s'mores one. When I talked to the owner she was no help either. Overall I won't ever go back there because of the lack of communication and the lame driver we had that played the worst music. Everyone that was on our car which was 13 of us kept complaining about the music and with each time he changed it, it just got worse. If you're off roading in a big humvee you want some rock or some up beat music. If you end up getting Keith I would absolutely cancel your ride! This will be the LAST time I waste my money on this establishment. Update to owners response, one you NEVER said he was off on Mondays for one! So you can quit lying there, two you offered me two options one a free ride and two my money back. I refused both because I why would I ride AGAIN with a company that lies. My sister was in the room when we had the whole conversation so you can stop lying at anytime to save the reputation of your business. Three I stayed till myself and kept quite the whole time so that I didn't get rude with anyone. Y'all are liars and it's sad. The owner of the company which was a lady I talked to after she kept trying to keep me in her office after I refused a refund and then finally after the 3rd time you offered me a refund I finally siad fine I'll take the refund she then says oh I have to ask my husband . This company is full of liars and I would NEVER spend my money with a lying company like this Update again to the owner! One you NEVER told me he was off on Mondays. So you guys can really quit lying cause when we walked in and you told us he was sick so which is it, is he sick or was he off cause I have 5 of my family members in the office when you said it so again you're a liar. two I kept trying to leave because I was never looking for a refund only to let her know how our experience was. Which was trash!!! And everyone on Keith's humvee that was with me agrees. So if 13 people are wrong then so be it but you can't dismiss OUR experience. Which was again TRASH! And yes I have EVERY right to be upset when you lie and tell two different stories about Dan. You have cameras in the office why don't you post them and prove me as a liar. Then when I finally agreed to a refund your wife's tune changes. Y'all are a joke and idc if you're a 5 star business. I absolutely gave yall a zero. And if me being quite their whole ride makes me rude then I guess I'm rude and I'll take that title! I have 13 people to corroborate my story. Stop being liars and if you offered me a refund and I accepted it then where is my refund you said you offered. Still waiting on that refund. Have a nice day liars!

The tour was amazing! James was a phenomenal tour guide and had all of us laughing and smiling the entire time. We saw some beautiful wildlife and learned so much about the park history.

We had a blast. Our guide Wesley the Bearded Wonder was awesome. He is very knowledgeable and more importantly, did a killer wookie impression. If you are in Estes Park, this is a must do.

I cannot speak more highly of Wildside!!! Our Jeep tour was the #1 highlight of not only Estes Park, but our whole Colorado trip! Our guide Aaron was absolutely incredible. Funny, knowledgable, so passionate about what he does, the nature, the wildlife, trees, everything. Even checking in at headquarters was a joy - everyone working was so happy, friendly, welcoming, and wonderful. Instant mood booster! Aaron customized our tour to what we were interested in / what we wanted to see and it was nothing short of spectacular. We saw hundreds of elk, a MOOSE, birds, deer, waterfalls, just so much wildlife. We had visited the park that morning for a few hours and went to totally different places that we would have never seen otherwise. Do not look further than Wildside to make your trip exceptional!

We did the ROCK'N ROLLER COASTER tour with Sid as our tour guide. This was a great time. Sid was very knowledgeable about the forest, the trail, the vehicle and nature. He made the entire tour an adventure. Took us to many locations that without the 4x4 would otherwise be inaccessible. On top of all that, he was very personable and was able to relate stories to what we were seeing. Answered all of our questions. Wild animals, aspen groves, scenic vistas, history. It's all here. The vehicle itself was awesome. Custom designed/built by the tour company. Very comfortable. Always felt safe. Sid drove it like a pro. Being the "Rock'n Roller Coaster" tour, going fast and listening to rock-n-roll was part of it. Oh boy, was that cool!. Some of the inclines/declines seemed formidable, but Sid had no worries. If you want a fun tour with plenty of information and photo ops, this is it!

Our guide, Alexis, was TERRIFIC! Full of knowledge and such a skilled driver. She provided a perfect experience for everyone. Our 7 year old even said he'd give her "a million" rating!

We had such an amazing tour guide Jim who was so knowledgeable and kind. He made sure everyone was comfortable, hydrated, and could hear him. Jim also offered to take photos to help us capture this beautiful moment. This tour beat our of our expectations! What an amazing day!

I would give Dave, our tour guide, 10 stars if I could. He was everything we needed and wanted in a tour guide (and then some). I can't say enough great things about this tour from start to finish. We were in Estes Park for the week with my parents who have mobility concerns. Before we booked, we expressed some of our concerns to the owner who responded promptly. Talk about a great start! The day of the tour, Dave was energetic and entertaining. The custom-made jeeps were perfect for the trip, and Dave provided an incredible wealth of information. Weather prevented us from our expected tour (Top of the World), but he quickly redirected us and found other areas to explore instead. We have no regrets! Remember what I originally asked about my parents? Dave went out of his way to make sure my father could get on and off the jeep, assisting throughout the tour. That alone is incredible! We won't hold his Chicago preference over him, though I suppose I should deduct some points for that (I kid, I kid). Seriously - this tour was simply wonderful, and we had no regrets. We had spent 4 days in RMNP prior to the jeep tour, and we still loved every minute of it!

If I could leave 6 stars I would. A friend recommended this business to us for an off road 4X4 excursion up in Estes Park. We are SO glad they did! Everything about it was perfect, from booking to the end of it. We booked the Panoramic Peak Photo Tour, considered a moderate off road excursion. It was perfect! A HUGE shout out to our driver/guide Sadie-she was so knowledgeable, so fun-you could tell she really enjoyed her job. The truck was fabulous with just a tiny bit of roller coaster-y action (however, definitely empty your bladder before you hop on!) The tour was 3 1/2 hours and we went all over! I learned more about Aspens than I ever knew, we enjoyed incredible views and had fun the entire time. I would recommend this company to anyone!

Super awesome tour! The lady at the front desk is super nice, very informative and so welcoming. We also had a blast with joe. He was informative and very knowledgeable in a whole bunch of stuff around Estes park. We got to drive around when the snow was going at it hard so everything was even more beautiful. It was our first time in Colorado and if it's your first time in Estes park I recommend this tour. We got to see a bunch of animals around and even got to go inside the Estes state park and got to see more snow than I've ever seen (Dallas, Texas). As the tour continued, joe had a variety of snacks like of chips, salt crackers, protein bars and all accompanied with a cooler full of sprite and Cokes and water. Aside from that the tour is also BYOB so we took a few brewskis to enjoy the ride even "better"! At the end of the scenic route we where took to a side of a mountain where you could ride down with some sleighs. They provide extra clothes incase you brought jeans or some other type of clothes not made to get wet and at the very end of it all they provide some homemade hot chocolate. Can't beat that!!! To me, this is a place that knows how to run a business. Very friendly, helpful, accommodating people made us feel right at home. Place is sort of small, but very homey, clean, and has seats. Restroom is a shared space between other business surrounding it, so don't expect it to be so clean. Restrooms are available in the mountain when you sleigh I would recommend using before getting in the vehicle or holding it till you get to the mountain.

Wayne did a phenomenal job leading us through an unforgettable adventure on the TOP OF THE WORLD TOUR. When I was planning my family trip, I received a lot of negative comments telling me this would be a waste of money since I also have a rental car. I am so glad I DIDNT listen! The knowledge is invaluable. From learning about medicinal plants to history and even a love story, we were entertained and amazed the entire trip. No amount of photos can truly capture the elegance and grandeur your eyes will witness, therefore if you are on the edge about making that reservation- click that book now button and get ready for a great adventure. Thank you Wayne for being so accommodating and making my family feel at home.

After researching tour companies through Yelp and other review websites I settled on Rocky Mountain Rush because of their great reviews on Trip Advisor. Though we had to contend with a rainy day, RMR did a great job of showing us some of the highlights of the park. The park itself is absolutely breathtaking (separate review) and a need-to-see experience. The RMR vehicle (pretty much a really big Hummer) is spacious and very comfortable. Since it has the capacity to become an open air vehicle, it can get a little chilly inside. Comfy fleece blankets are provided. Our guide was fantastic - he seemed to know a lot about the park's history and was truly funny. Just a couple of things... not easy to make a reservation online. I sent three requests and eventually just had to call. It is virtually impossible for me to use a phone on my work days so I would have found online more convenient. A longer tour, even by just an hour or so would be great. The park is huge so don't get me wrong... I get why you can't see everything in a few hours. Besides the basic hummer tour, they also do downhill biking adventures and wine and cheese sunset tours. Their prices are on the moderate side ($50 pp). Overall, a good service!

Tours are relatively reasonably priced (though not cheap) for the entertainment and educational bits and bobs about the places you're taken to, but for the winter tours where your exposure to several areas of the park is limited, I do think they could knock off a few bucks. We had a bit of a mishap during my tour, where my phone was dropped and my battery tumbled off a bridge and down the side of the mountain. Our guide saved the day by literally sliding down the mountain to retrieve my battered - but still functional! - phone innards. Nevermind the details about how that happened (though I wonder if it'll make it into our guide's stories from here on out), but not having that battery would have really put a kink in the remainder of FH and I's trip to Colorado, so I was thankful, if a bit nervous, that he rescued it. We would love to come back in the summertime and take one of the off-road tours, and will definitely look up this company again if we find ourselves in Estes in warmer months.

We finished taking the scenic drives around RMNP and went into Estes Park. I suggested we take the tram up the mountain before dinner. We arrived at the lower terminal. There's a parking lot available to park in for a fee. Handicap Parking is free. We went inside and bought our tickets for $35.96 each. There was no line to board the tram, so we went on out to the loading area. There's a gift shop here you can visit before going up. It is highly recommended to have a reservation (purchase tickets in advance)! Prices vary depending on day of the week and time. If you are a walk-in, the time slot you want may be sold out and you'll have to select an available time. Each tram accommodates 10 people. We had the car to ourselves along with the tram attendant. She was very friendly and we had a nice conversation. She lets riders in and out of the tram. The ride is fairly short (5 minutes each way) even though the tram doesn't travel terribly fast. There's an elevation gain of 1,029 ft. The upper terminal sits at 8,619 ft. This is a very smooth ride. The windows of the tram were wide open, which was great! At the upper terminal, there is an observation platform with telescopes, gift shop, picnic areas, restrooms, cafe, and a trail to the West Summit. The trail is .75 miles one way and is supposedly a fairly easy hike. There's a machine that spins fresh cotton candy and I had to try it! We bought a small bag of peanuts to feed the chipmunks, but it seemed like the birds got most of them. The view is breathtaking! We left the top around the golden hour and it was awesome! We had already planned to come here on Oct. 1, 2025 which coincided with the first day of the Federal Government Shutdown. We arrived before anyone was at the Entrance Station to take entrance fees & reservations. We later exited & reentered the park and there was a guy at the entrance booth. He didn't seem to know what was going on and the fees/reservations were not collected. I had gone online to recreation.gov and made a reservation for a timed entry to the park. There was a $2 fee. There are 2 reservation options: Timed Entry with or without Bear Lake Road Reservation. First wildlife we saw were the Mule Deer. During our visit here, we heard Elk bugling, saw Elk, Bighorn Sheep, Mule Deer, chipmunks, & birds. Trail Ridge Road is a major road which is also part of US Highway 34. It takes you up to the Alpine Tundra and is the highest continuous paved road in North America. Some of the stops are: Fairview Curve, Medicine Bow Curve, Lava Cliffs, Rock Cut, Forest Canyon, & Many Parks Curve. With the different elevations in the park, the terrain also changes! I was amazed with how the landscape was so vast & stunning from the grassy meadows to the Alpine Tundra! Trail of Aspens - there's a plaque with information about it at Hollowell Park. Look in the distance above the sign and you'll see them. Going in the Autumn time, it was so easy to see them as they were changing colors! Sprague Lake - saw lots of Trout in the shallow water before reaching the lake itself. Took the Trail Ridge Road up to the Alpine Tundra area where the Alpine Visitor Center is. This visitor center is the highest one in the National Park System at 11,796 feet. It was closed, but the Trail Ridge Store with a coffee stand next door was open. The elevation here can bring on altitude sickness. The elevation reaches over 12,000ft. Everyone should be careful and drink plenty of water. We live at Sea Level in Los Angeles and acclimating to the elevation helped somewhat. We still had a bit of trouble catching our breath. Coming back down, we stopped by the Sheep Lakes Information Station. I think we were too early to see the sheep. We didn't see any Bighorn Sheep there. Alluvial Fan - Pretty cool area! There was a Lawn Lake flood on July 15, 1982. An alluvial fan is basically a fan-shaped deposit of sediment. There's a bridge across Roaring River near the base of the Alluvial Fan. You can walk up a little bit for a view of the water falling or a selfie with the river in the background. We spent about 8 hours in the park. Most of it was driving and taking in the sights. No hiking for us, but we did get out and do some of the short walks out to see things. Our last stop was at the Fall River Visitor Center. It is located just outside of the park. Lucky for us that this is run in a partnership with the NPS & by the Rocky Mountain Conservatory and was open! We were able to see the exhibits and use the park stamp for my parks passport book. Next door is a store that we also visited and took advantage of their restroom before heading into the town for dinner. I hope to make it back again! Seeing the wildlife and the tundra area were highlights.
