Sean Tong was assigned yet again to a mold growth issue in the crawlspace of my home…read more The only crawlspace access point and main ventilation point was 100% sealed off with a wood plank by the landlord appx. 10 years ago. Coupled with the massive water leak from the kitchen sink and the lack of ventilation, this has led to an intense mold odor emanating from the crawlspace access point. In no way, in no timline that would ever exist shall I let Sean Tong do any evaluation or inspection in my home based on the last interaction with him. The man is not honest. The man has zero integrity. Maybe it is at the behest of my corporate landlord he is ignoring me, but how would I know? Sean Tong doesn't communicate with me regarding photos he took of severely damaged wood in the crawlspace. And the female office manager is hostile and refuses to give me any information despite my name being on the lease and being the one who submitted the work order to the landlord. An honest company that is proud of their work would communicate and explain... not ignore and ghost me. Wild behavior from so-called professionals. Edit: Sean Tong called me on Memorial Day to ask about scheduling the work order regarding the mold growth. I asked him if he remembered coming to my home and inspecting the crawlspace. He told me "no" and I asked him about the photo I texted him and included in this review. He then told me that since I am not the owner of this home he is under no obligation to tell me about the mold growth in the crawlspace under the home I rent and live in. Absolutely insane behavior from a man who owns a franchise of a company that specializes in mold remediation. I perfectly understand the law regarding his obligations. Though outright lying to me about the black mold that exists under my home is dishonorable and despicable. Do better, Mr. Sean Tong. Is a contract with a corporation worth being a liar and lacking professional integrity?

When the insurance didn't want to pay, why did I end up paying money out of my own pocket? I never signed any paper work... I don't have ill feelings towards inland restoration and I wish Juan the best of luck...

Highly Recommend Inland Restoration!…read more I was referred to Inland Restoration by a friend after my washing machine leaked and caused water damage to my wood laminate floors. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Juan, the owner, came out the very next day to assess the damage. He took his time to thoroughly inspect everything, explained the situation in detail, and by that evening, he had a clear and fair quote ready for me. I really appreciated how transparent and responsive he was throughout the entire process. We scheduled the work in two parts--first the downstairs, then the stairs and upstairs. The job involved removing the damaged laminate and old carpet, and replacing everything with luxury premium vinyl. Juan's team showed up on time, carefully moved all my furniture and belongings, and got right to work. They kept me abreast of the work and schedule along the way. They cleaned up every night and meticulous with their work. Along the way, they discovered some issues from previous installations--an uneven kitchen floor and a bedroom floor that didn't meet the walls properly. Instead of just covering it up, they took the time to fix the problems before installing the new flooring. The result is absolutely beautiful and feels like a huge upgrade from what was there before. Juan and his crew were professional, detail-oriented, and truly went above and beyond. I couldn't be happier with the results and would recommend Inland Restoration to anyone in need of quality restoration or flooring work. Thank you again for a job well done!

Our insurance company called servpro and they came quick to look and inspect the damage. Juan quickly came and and reassured us we would be getting new floor. And that's exactly what happened. Horrible experience. If you're looking for unfinished, poor-quality workmanship, then this SERVPRO…read morefranchise operated by Jeffrey Padgett may be the company for you. Unfortunately, SERVPRO was on State Farm's recommended contractor list for our insurance claim. We were initially told the project would take three weeks, but it ultimately took five weeks. As a result, the senior homeowner had to stay in a motel for the entire five-week period. The following issues remain unresolved: 1. Door jams and trim work were not completed properly. Finish nails are protruding, the casing is uneven, and there was little to no surface preparation before painting. Only one coat of flat paint was applied despite the quote specifying two coats. It is also unclear why flat paint was used instead of semi-gloss on the trim. 2. The newly installed shower is approximately one inch wider than the original, causing the mixer valve to sit too far back. The valve had been replaced by our plumber prior to the project. This issue should have been identified and discussed before installation. Instead, an extension valve was installed that does not function properly. The shower head is mounted too low, the trim plate does not sit flush against the wall, and the caulking along the top of the shower remains incomplete. 3. In the master bathroom, the door is loose due to stripped screws and swings open on its own. The tile grout work is also substandard. 4. I was informed that the vanity we selected would not work. Alejandro assured me that everything would be new except for the existing drawer fronts and faces. Instead, the old vanity, fixtures, P-trap, water supply lines, faucet, and countertop were reinstalled. The quote stated that new materials would be provided. 5. No final walkthrough was conducted with subcontractors before the homeowner moved back in. The project extended beyond the estimated completion date, resulting in additional room-and-board expenses that State Farm covered. 6. The quote specified that angle stops would be removed and replaced, but this was not done. There is also an unfinished hole in the drywall near the toilet shutoff valve. 7. The homeowner moved back in over a month ago, yet the contractor lockbox remains attached to the front door. This should have been removed before occupancy. When I spoke with Josh, I was told most of the work would be completed in-house, but numerous subcontractors appear to have been involved. Regardless, the lockbox should be removed immediately. The homeowners do not want any contractors to return to the property. Overall, the project was poorly managed, communication was lacking, and the workmanship did not meet the standards outlined in the contract or expected from a contractor recommended by State Farm.

One of the first questions they asked me was, do you have a contractor in mind to perform the remediation? I told them no, so they offered to put ProTech Construction in Arcadia on the Job, which I accepted and became one of the best decisions I made during that time frame. The first person they sent to our home was Ivan and his assistant (whose name I unfortunately forgot). They came to evaluate the damage and brought large dehumidifiers which they placed in areas with the heaviest water damage. Both men were very professional and knowledgeable and kept us in the loop during their damage evaluation. Upon completion of the damage Ray Lutynski took over and his task was to evaluate results of Ivan's damage evaluation and create an estimate of the cost to repair the damages and submit them to the AAA insurance adjuster for approval. Ray was a pleasure to work with he kept my wife and I informed throughout the process. He was very professional and knowledgeable about the remediation process and the insurance Adjusters requirements. Once Ray obtained the Adjusters' approval, the remediation task was turned over to Juan Lopez with Ray on hand to revise the approved estimates if required. Juan was also very professional and knowledgeable; he coordinated the reconstruction process which was completed on schedule. Juan accompanied my wife and I when we had to select various items. ProTech Construction also coordinated the packing and storage of our household items. It was a pleasure having ProTech perform the remediation of the damage to our home and would highly recommend them.

The leak repairs cost over $50,000 (for both upstairs and downstairs). Suraj was very helpful in helping us to resolve this matter as well as to work with multiple contractors to restore our home to its estate level. Suraj worked diligently to help us to renew our 6000 sq ft home to better than original! We are and were very impressed.....and we are not usually impressed with any contractor! Then it happened again in 2019 a pipe broke in the wall again causing damage to my upstairs and downstairs (turns out we have a faulty pipe install from our builder. My insurance is suing that builder!) The first person I called was Suraj to help us through this nightmare again! The thoughts of having mold, mildew, etc in my home with my kids living in our home was definitely nightmare-ish! Anyway...Suraj came to us immediately and again he thoroughly removed all of the water, dryed everything out completely, and he helped us to navigate through the insurance company and all of our contractors as well! We are so thankful to Suraj for his hard work, great ethics, and for being someone that we could depend on consistently! We wish every contractor was as kind and honest as Suraj! Thanks CCMR!
