Not only was Mr. Tong an hour late based on when he sent an update to the landlord's maintenance app, he was here for 6 minutes in total. He used a Protimeter Surveymaster moisture meter and the meter beeped rapidly and lit up red in multiple areas in my bathroom. According to the information online regarding this specific model of moisture meter, rapid beeping with red light and the number on the meter means significant moisture detected. I am uploading to this updated review Mr. Tong's own photos uploaded to the landlord's maintenance app. Notice the red light on the meter. Also note the number on the meter. That's 999. According to the meter's manufacturer, 999 is the maximum reading on the meter. Also that means a significant, active moisture problem and progressive mold or mildew growth has been detected. I asked Mr. Tong by text message if he could tell me what "999" on the moisture meter means. I have not received a response, and I bet he will just ignore me once again. The work order was marked "complete" and absolutely no issues were solved, yet again, by Mr. Tong inspecting a bathroom with a clear moisture and more than likely mold problem.

They started by looking at our home for possible mold remediation issues and the tech who came to our home said we could do it ourselves but told us he had to call his boss Jarrett and he shared a lot of things we did not need done. Unfortunately the two other companies we reached out to for mold remediation were not helpful so we moved forward with Protech but once our insurance was involved everything changed. The price changed and the communication was horrible. Jarrett even emailed the claims adjuster saying that "I was calm now" because he spoke with me when really the insurance could barely get a hold of him or his company to get information either. He was so unprofessional. His secretary was very kind and when I refused to speak with Jarrett over the phone she did not push me almost like she understood and this wasn't the first time that had happened. The work they finally did took forever and they left the large fans in our home for almost a week instead of overnight then charged us extra for it. The piece was so inflated and the work was bare minimum. We even decided to have a different construction company finish the job and close the holes Protech made to remediate the mold. The leak repairs cost over $50,000 (for both upstairs and downstairs). Suraj was very helpful in helping us to resolve this matter as well as to work with multiple contractors to restore our home to its estate level.
