If you are looking for a simple repair or a straightforward project, Eshed may be a great option…read more However, if you are looking for very utmost craft, precision (ie. 1/8" grout lines), working with curved tile shapes and expect a professional partnership throughout where there is no harassment and unsolicited comments beyond the scope of the agreed upon project, then this is not the small business for you. I, too, found Eshed via his five star reviews but was completely disappointed with the way the project unfolded. The initial project quote was 15 business days. Though I had to unexpectedly travel for work and attend jury duty, I ended up being without a kitchen for 2 months. Expectations were not met. Partway through the tile project, my closet broke and a closet expert came to assess my storage needs while Eshed was at the property working on the kitchen backsplash. While showing the closet designer my dresser drawer, it tipped over due to all the drawers being opened. We called Eshed in to help us rotate the dresser back upright and I thanked him for his help. I carried on with my closet consultation. At the end of the work day, while Eshed and I were discussing progress, Eshed made a comment about seeing all of the underwear in my dresser drawers and breezed past it as if it was part of standard conversation practice. In addition to this, while wrapping up on a Friday, he has sent me photos of where he's headed for the weekend and at one point even verbally suggested that I go with him to climb rocks on the beach. These instances, though not tied to the project, demonstrate a lack of professional standard that I expect from the highest quote that came in during my research for a quality tile installation. When all the tile was installed, right when the first wall's grout was applied in the kitchen, I was shocked to realize that the spacing that we were aiming for (1/8") was not at 1/4" or greater in some areas. I asked him if he used spacers to control the spacing and he said no. I asked him why he didn't use spacers and his response was aloof, telling me it was inefficient. This is not the bar of craft of excellence once expected from a project where the tiles cost more than the labour and the labour was already the highest bid across 5 businesses. Upon project completion, the matte black door knob on my front door looked like a blender had been taken to it because of all the broken tiles he was managing while going in/out of the property to cut tile pieces. I pointed this out and he did not make any suggestions to make this right or compromise. Lastly, he had an unprofessional meltdown in front of my electrician, a fellow tradesperson after passively suggesting that the electrical outlets need attention and that I should bring the electrician back (for the 3rd time). He raised his voice, got overly dramatic and read the text message he wrote me in front of the electrician to prove a point that only worsened his credibility. On the final day of completion, instead of calling me out of my office to confirm that the project was complete, he texted me while leaving the property and told me to send a check. No final walk through of the work was discussed. It is likely Eshed will respond publicly with a rebuttal, but I hope these examples as a whole give you the context you need when considering your next tile needs.

Eric and the team of Priority Tile did an excellent job with installing our kitchen backsplash!…read moreTimely, tidy, and thorough. HIRING THEIR SERVICE: I searched around for quotes on getting a relatively small backsplash installation in our kitchen, and Eric from priority Tile came back to us timely and thoroughly given my initial questions, which included asking for a recommendation of how many tiles to buy, since we're not sure how much square footage would be needed. I found Eric very responsive, patient, and thorough in his answers to me which was really helpful. We set up a time, and when something came up for us, Eric was very gracious and flexible to reschedule. INSTALLATION: On the day of installation, they arrived on time and waited as I tried to figure out whether the tiles that I received were the correct ones. Once that was sorted they began work. They were thorough, and also very neat. The subway tile that we wanted in our backsplash was installed very cleanly and also cut precisely around the nooks and crannies in the space. Everything was installed within the time estimated, and the area was kept tidy in our house as well, very respectful of our place. It was such a smooth installation and a smooth experience, I would highly recommend priority tile for any of your tiling needs, and will certainly consider them for any future tiling projects as well.

He and his team dealt with the issues calmly and professionaly. They really went above and beyond with my project. I love everything about my new shower, the tiles were beautifully installed, and thanks to Eric, I feel very confident that the support structure behind the shower walls and underneath was done properly with care. Eric also did a great job with fixing some minor issues with my pavers on my patio. Their pricing was also fair. I definitely recommend Eric for bathroom tiles, etc. I will be using their service for all my future tiling needs in the future.

Eran from Elite Marble Care literally fell out of the sky and into my home when I, in desperation,…read morehad asked my carpet cleaner if he could repair/clean my damaged floor tiles. While he said he could try to do it himself, he suggested a professional tile cleaner would do a better job, and he knew just that person. In barely 15 minutes, Eran was at my door! My tiles, which were fairly new, have a natural glaze and do not require sealant. Yet, on numerous occasions, different cleaning people and even my handyman decided that sealant would make it shine more. Maybe so, for the first few weeks, but once the shine wore off, there were embedded scuff marks and ground in dirt that were impossible to ignore, let alone clean! Adding more sealant to an existing mess just made it worse. I was desperate enough to replace the "offending" tiles, but it would cost more than the initial job when so many tiles were affected. Long story short, Eran and his vast team came in and attacked the problem at once, spending painstaking hours stripping my *entire* floor of layers of gunk, leaving it looking almost as good as it did the day it was first installed. It even got its natural sheen restored. (Morale of the story is if it ain't broke, don't fix it--no more sealant or shine!). I highly recommend Elite Marble Care if you want a thoroughly professional job done with a level of expertise bar none!

We had purchased our quartz slabs through our local tile guy, and he and his team immediately picked them up and got started on fabricating. Kevin was so precise in his measurements and took time to ensure everything was a perfect fit. Further, he provided good suggestions for us (e.g. using the extra piece for the window ledge, and using steel support versus wood for the overhanging counter so the wood wouldn't show) that made our kitchen even more beautiful. If there was one thing we would do differently, we would have contacted Kevin sooner and purchased our slabs through him as he could have saved us some money. Highly recommend Kevin and his team! Even though we swear to never go through another renovation, if we were to have to do this again in the future, we would definitely go with West Coast! (For scale, both our kitchen island & window cabinets are 15 feet long)
