Came to this tint shop from a referral from a close friend. They say his work is the best around town and I believe it! Yes you have to make an appointment but that's because he is a busy working on customers cars. Definitely worth the wait for the appointment and the work he did on my crosstrek was perfect! The materials he uses are premium top notch stuff and have a lifetime warranty! Very happy with the way it came out. 10/10 would come here again and refer anyone who wants a quality job. Pricing is also fair and competitive from all the places I got quotes from. Rich is a great guy and straight up and doesn't try to up sale you on anything. Had a great experience working with him. read more

I got my car tinted by Rich's Tint Shoppe on May 7th, 2013 and the guys did a fabulous job! It took them an hour and half and they did a superb job. I love my tint and I love how SEX-EEEEH my car looks. Thanks to these awesome YELPERS for helping me find this hidden GEM! For only $160, I got a LIFETIME warranty on the tint. I love how tedious they are and how detailed the guys are with their work. Yes, It's it CASH or CHECK place...so be prepared! read more

Rich was super friendly along the entire process from start to finish. I want to state that these pictures may not look the best cause of lighting but in person I'm more than satisfied with the service and I knew what I was paying for. The look I went for was a "light tint." I didn't want to go super crazy on the front two Windows and two back/back windshield. I got the ceramic 70% on the front two and the carbon (I believe it was the 3rd darkest tint for carbon, so 3/5 meaning 5 was the darkest aka limo tint). My friend recommended to check Rich out and I don't regret it at all. Just remember your paying for quality service and a quality job while going into this. Before seeing Rich, I had no idea what type of tint I wanted on my car and how it would look like. Rich walked me through the entire process explaining everything and physically showing me what the tints would look like, the benefits of one vs another and how the warranty works. If you want to get your car tinted, Rich is the man. Call in advance cause he's extremely busy and don't waste his time. Great Service, Excellent job, Great Attitude and Genuine. read more

We've had 3 cars (Camry, hubby's car and RX) tinted at Rich's Tint Shoppe. There hasn't been any issues with any of them. We even recommended my in laws to get it done by him and they're extremely happy. We just got our GX tinted by him as well. We only had the front two windows as the other ones are stained glass from the factory. He is very responsive and his prices are very reasonable but make sure you make an appointment since he's quite popular! read more

Today I got my new Mercedes GLB front two windows tinted. I requested an appointment via Yelp and Rich responded quickly. I got to my appointment and it took around 45 minutes for the install. He did an excellent job just like the previous 3 cars he did for me in the past. I really appreciate the quality job he does and the warranty he offers. I recommend this place to anyone. read more

Hands down one of the best tint shops I've ever been to, I've taken all three of my vehicles to him and had him re-tint one of my cars from subpar tint job from another shop. Rich does top notch work and takes tremendous pride in his craftsmanship. I highly recommend this shop, prices are fair and warranty on tint is excellent. read more

****UPDATE**** The last SIX pictures are current and go with this update!!! THAT IS LIMO TINT!!!!! That is what limo tint is supposed to look like!!!! Not what Rich did in the prior (first three) pictures. We went to more then one tint shop to get "second, third, fourth, fifth" opinions, and EACH AND EVERY ONE said that what Rich had done was NOT LIMO TINT. So, we went to Rich to ask him to please fix his F**K UP... he REFUSED. Asked him to remove his tint under his warranty /guarantee once again... he REFUSED!!! Went to a completely different shop, and had the tint done PROPERLY!!!!! And we paid LESS then what Rich charged us to begin with (including having to remove his BAD JOB). If you want your tint done RIGHT... DONT GO TO RICH!!!!! He isn't in business to make customers happy.... Hes just out there getting money from people that don't know better, and wont stand up for themselves. read more

Every time my family gets a new car, they always go to this place because Rich did a great job on doing the tinted windows. The day I bought my first car couple weeks ago before coming here and I immediately thought I want my windows tinted from Rich. I got limousine (super dark) in the back and dark/light tint in the front. His tints are super great quality and it lasts overtime. If you worry about fading tints or turn purple, it will not discolor or anything. I always recommend my friends to go to him if they want their windows tinted. For this great quality, it's definitely worth the price. read more

I am so impressed by the level of professionalism and service by Rich. Called on a Monday and he fit me in on a Thursday. Rich arrived at our appointment time promptly first thing in the morning. He educated me on the types of tints and the best choices to match my manufacturer rear window tint. My job only involved two front windows and the little triangles by the side mirrors... He was done in 55 minutes! Pricing was super competitive as well. It was simply a great experience from beginning to end and I would recommend his services to anyone trying to find a quality tint service. My mom brought her new car here to get it tinted, so of course, when I got my new car, I also brought it here to get it tinted. Rich is very personable and spent about 10-15 minutes trying to help me make an informed decision with how dark to tint my car. He spent some time pointing out cars with dark vs medium tint and in the end, I decided to go medium all around. He also suggested to me that since the interior of the back of my car was beige, I should do a darker tint in the back so that it wouldn't look lighter than the rest of the car. Of course, I took his advice. The only flaw that I can see is that there's air trapped in the dot matrix portion of my car back windshield and two small side windows, but Rich explained afterwards that it was pretty common. I kind of wish that he would have told me that it would happen before I got the car tinted though, since I'm a little OCD and it bothers me, and I honestly didn't know it was something I'd even need to ask about because this is the first car I've ever gotten tinted. It costs $220 for his higher quality tint that has a lifetime color warranty for my sedan. Overall I like with the way that my car looks, and I'd recommend this place to people who don't have the dot gradient on their car glass. read more

Called around for estimates and Rich provided the best price around but his calendar was scheduled out for a couple months, which I took as a good sign of the quality of his work. Found out there was a reason why he was so busy. Luckily he had a cancellation right before I called and was able to schedule me in a few days later. I got lost finding his shop but he was very understanding and still took his time explaining the options in detail even when I was late. Picked up my car later that day and he explained how to take care of it for the next few days. It's been about six months now and have no complaints, glad I went with Rich. read more

What can I say about Rich besides he's the best I've been to some of the highest rated tint shops in LA County over the years but none seems to match Rich's hand cut work and amazing pricing. I took my new car here a couple of days ago, I wasn't sure which tint I wanted so Rich walked me through and based on what I needed Rich recommended the CXP film. He didn't push me to the most expensive film he sold because I didn't necessarily need that, and I love when places recommend based on your needs instead of anything else. The tint job itself looks factory, after 3 days it seems like all the water has worked it's way out already. Extremely satisfied if you can't tell. I'm only coming to Rich's from now on, thanks man! read more

If you are looking to get your car windows tinted, Rich's Tint Shoppe is the place to go! In the past I've tinted at places that don't take reservations, but this time around I didn't want to wait in line and typically it can be up to half a day to a full day of waiting at other places. Rich's is great because he takes reservations. That means you are pretty much there for just the 2 hours and he is pretty spot on with the timing. Just be sure to make an appointment a few days ahead of time to make sure they have availability. His work is also warrantied and they do a really good job. They take a lot of care to wipe everything down cleanly and verify there are no bubbles or streaks. They explain everything carefully too and since it's warrantied, you can rest easy. Perfectionist! If you decide to wait, you can head over to the car wash waiting area. There are tables and pay-by-time massage chairs. Don't forget to bring cash or check! read more

These guys are top notch. The quality and attention to details is amazing! I went to get my fiancee's 2014 Mazda 3 tinted and Rich took time explaining the difference in the tint. (they are current using Madico brand tint) Their basic tint price is $175 and non metallic is $225 If you have radio antenna in the wind shield you will need the non metallic tint. The Mazda has roof shark fin so i went with the basic $159 package. I got the 20% in rear and 35% in front which is a common shade package everyone gets. I gave it 4 star instead of 5 because it took a bit longer than expected (about 2.5 hr to get my car done), but none the less i was 100% happy with the results. Suggestion for Rich: Update your website with gallery , price and online appointment system would help your business a lot. read more

Came to Rich's Tint Shoppe to get my 2017 Honda Accord Sport tinted. After hearing SO many good reviews about this place, I had to try it out. At first I thought I'd be meeting Rich, but instead I met two of his workers, which were very helpful and friendly! I ended up choosing medium tint for the front two windows and limo for the rear ones. I got the most expensive option for $225. Their cheaper one is $175. Rich was very prompt in communication concerning the project. He was very upfront and transparent with the tint application he was using. He helped guide my choice of transparency and was very helpful. His waitlist stretches over a month so I felt fortunate to get in quickly. His prices are very competitive and fair. There is a reason why Rich's Tint Shoppe has 5 star. This place is the best, and they are busy!! I spend two straight weeks trying to get a phone call in to make an appointment and finally got lucky last Wednesday. Rich was very patient over the phone explaining the difference between the tint he uses and what other shops use after that we made an appointment for the following Thursday (this morning at 9:00am). It was only $200 to get my car tinted all around with dark film, I've called around and no other place had better reviews, services or prices than Rich. The best part is that he provides life time guarantee. I mean other shops provide that too but none of the shops have the track record that Rich does. He has been serving the Walnut area for over 23 years, and with the amount of business that hes got, there is no way hes going anywhere, anytime soon. He did a great job on my car and he explained everything very clearly afterwards about not rolling down the windows for at least two days. If you're currently shopping for a shop to get your windows tinted, make sure you come to Rich. Its worth the drive even if you live far. Rich is a prime example of what customer service is about. I wasn't sure which tint I wanted so he took the tint scale and held it up against the window to show what it'll look like from the outside, then he took it to other side to show what it'll look like from the inside. I called other tint shops around my area and they wanted $20 more that what Rich charged, for the quality work he does, it is a BARGAIN. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. He is VERY busy though since it's pretty much a one man shop. I asked why he didn't hire more workers and he said he didn't want quality to suffer (he spoke from past experience). Tips: - The tint shop is directly behind Alamo Car Wash, he has a little sign out - Cash or check only - Call him, it's the fastest way to reach him - Bring a board game, his shop is literally a car port so there's nothing to do. Thanks for a pleasant experience Rich, you just earned a customer for life. read more
