Long-Time Customer Let Down - Poor Workmanship, No Accountability…read more I've been a loyal customer of RVA Glass for nearly 4 years, but my recent experience has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I contacted Andrew, the owner, on September 6th about a warranty issue--my windshield was leaking and literally moving, which is a serious safety concern and clear evidence of poor workmanship. Since then, it's been a string of excuses, delays, and broken promises. Andrew scheduled multiple appointments to replace the windshield, but either canceled at the last minute or rescheduled without follow-through. At times, he would go silent for a week or more, despite saying he'd get back to me. When I tried to confirm one of the appointments, he denied it was scheduled--even though it was clearly stated in a previous message. Instead of taking responsibility, he sent me a long explanation about how "Sunday starts the week" and quoted Google to justify the confusion. I had to remind him: "There are seven days in a week, so even if we go with that definition--the question is when in the next seven days can you come out... not more than seven days, right?" Eventually, I had to say: "Andrew--that is so not the answer to give a customer. This unfortunately has been one big mess and hassle to deal with. I have tried to be patient and understanding with all the excuses/reasons why you have had issues in completing and honoring the work you did." As of today, the windshield still hasn't been replaced. I've been more than reasonable, but the lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic customer service is unacceptable--especially for someone who's supported this business for years. If this is how RVA Glass handles warranty work and long-time customers, I cannot recommend them to anyone.

I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service provided by RVA GLASS LLC…read morebusiness and to address the unprofessional behavior exhibited during our interactions. To begin, I must emphasize my disappointment with the consistent lateness demonstrated during both scheduled appointments. This lack of punctuality not only wasted my valuable time but also inconvenienced my family, who patiently waited for your arrival. We thought we were able to schedule a same-day appointment but due to Mr. Andrew's inattentiveness, he ordered the wrong glass resulting in us having to wait until Monday after we'd already paid our deposit. We did not ask for a return of our monies despite knowing another business that could install a window because we wanted to patronise this gentleman's business... big mistake. After the glass was installed I get texts from Mr. Andrew one which was meant for another customer further displaying his lack of attentiveness and another about payment.( mind you, I live two hours away and had to travel back) about the remainder of the deposit. I wasn't at my computer as I had many errands to run with my children (3 under 5 and an 11-month-old baby) and got hit with a family emergency so I sent him a text assuring him I would pay for it as soon as I could! just as I did with the deposit! I was deeply disturbed by the unprofessional tone of your text messages. Instead of communicating professionally and understanding, as we were with his lack of punctuality, lackadaisical disposition, and inattentiveness he chose to be rude and confrontational, even resorting to threats of a mechanic's lien all within 24 hours for $119.00, Such behavior is completely unwarranted and entirely unacceptable. I do believe some discrimination was at play here. but I will not make such assumptions. I was more than patient and kind with him with his lack of punctuality for both appointments and he was nasty and rude via text message without so much of a phone call to clarify. A tremendous lack of character was displayed. I had my 11 month old child sat in the car waiting for him for a total of six hours between both appointments. No compassion, no heart. Like I said I was dealing with a family emergency. Did he apologise for his lateness or show any character? of course not. Very arrogant attitude. This is why I believed some bias was at play. As business owners ourselves, we understand the importance of maintaining a professional demeanor and treating customers with respect. We have contracts with some companies who may not be able to get back to us for weeks but we remain professional and strive to make payment EASY! We just needed a chance to get to our home office and he didn't have patience for 24 hours without sending ridiculous texts. He had no problem being late for my appointments and couldn't give me so much of a courtesy. It is essential to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and address issues in a courteous and empathetic manner. Your failure to uphold these fundamental principles has left us dissatisfied with the overall experience. Character is everything. I would have rather paid more at another company than to be spoken to this way. and another thing, if he would have just called! I would have given him my card number over the phone and authorized payment or just given him cash at the appointment. Overall, it was more trouble than necessary. My thoughts after the service. Pay more for professionalism, punctuality, and politeness. You won't be treated with bias as some thief after traveling over four hours total and waiting for him for an extra two hours plus
