I purchased several pieces of art in online auctions from Beck Estates, to the tune of several hundred dollars. It took a LONG time for the pieces to be delivered. Two of them arrived damaged. It took a long time to get their shipper to come to my home to see the damage and "ok" trying to have them restored. However, after taking the pieces to several restorers, which took many months, neither piece was deemed repairable. Beck Estates takes no responsibility for the damage. Heather Beck referred me directly to the shipper for compensation. The shipper, when I was finally able to get him to return my phone calls, told me "the deadline has passed" to be reimbursed for these artworks and further, that he has retired. This was news to Heather Beck when I gave her this information. These two are shady to say the least. Do not participate in any art auctions with this company. read more

They have wonderful objects but Ms. Beck is so strict with her pickup times that she won't even honor a repeat customer who has spent many thousand dollars and can't make her mid-day pickups. I'm erasing the app and would never recommend any business that is so inflexible. We're not all able to drop everything on a Tuesday afternoon, Beck Estates. Heather Beck is an abrasive, uncompassionate person to deal with. I hired Beck Estates to handle the sale of an estate I was the executor of. The other staff is great but Heather, the company owner, was horrible. I would suggest anyone needing estate liquidation to go with another company. Handling an estate is a stressful situation and trying to work with someone that is passive aggressive and insensitive just makes it all harder. read more

What a professional job Heather and her team did in conducting the on-line auction for me in preparation for my move to Hawaii.
