Where to start... I contacted Luck Chevrolet and was put with a salesman by the name of Ralph. I was interested in a 2021 2500 HD they had on the lot, I told Ralph the stock number and he confirmed it to be on the property and that it was in the detail department. I asked Ralph to go to the truck and look it over for damage and that I had noticed it appeared to be missing a center cap on one of the wheels. Ralph went and found the truck, looked it over and called me back within 30 mins. He told me that the truck was in excellent condition and he thought I would be really happy with it.. I explained to Ralph that it was nearly a 2 hour drive to the dealer from my home and didn't want to get there and the truck be in rough shape. He assured me it was good, I told him I would be headed that way soon and I'd come in when I got there. (this truck has been on the lot for about 5 weeks now according to their website).. when I arrived I asked for Ralph and he took me to the detail department, opened the door and said there's the truck! I knew at that point we had a issue... the truck he showed me was a 1500 and a complete different color than the one I was inquiring on..we walked back to his office ... Ralph spoke to the used car manager about the whereabouts of the truck in question.. the truck was down the road at patrick gmc getting detailed - I herd the manager state they had the seats out of it cleaning the carpets .. mind you this truck has 25k miles , I was also informed that the truck had also received new exhaust..?? I got pretty upset that I had driven all the way there to see a truck that was not available for me to see, Ralph called Patrick gmc to see if we could ride there and look at the truck.. they said no! everyone had left . I told Ralph how this had wasted 4 hours of driving , after I asked several times to be sure before we came of its condition. Ralph then got a attitude and said " look sir it's the holidays" mind you I was the only customer in the entire establishment... I know it's the holidays .. I took the day off to ride there to see the vehicle.. The pure incompetence of Ralph and Luck Chevrolet cost me a day of pay and multiple hours of wasted time .. I then left Luck and went to Patrick gmc where I explained to a fella there what I was dealt and he showed me the truck.. terrible condition, frame rust , dents, dings , and dog hair everywhere.. Also.. before I left luck I spoke to the used car manager and expressed my frustration with Ralph, he told me he had no idea I was coming .. I guess I have to call everyone in the building to let them know a customer is interested and is coming by to look at a car ... he assured me he would take car of it .. Im willing to bet that didn't happen.. Waste of time - they won't get a penny from me in the future and I'm gonna tell everyone who'll listen .. read more

This dealership is about in the middle. I have been to worse dealerships and some better. The service dept. could improve on friendless. If you make an appointment, it will take a while for them to get to your vehicle more often than not. Once they put the wrong mileage on the work order which was higher than what is on the vehicle. Why is this bad, well this info goes to CARFAX. So, when you sell the vehicle and it is the wrong mileage recorded it will look suspicious. One time on an oil changed they over filled but never happen since. I took my vehicle in to check out a noise and they wanted to charge a high price just to check it out with no guarantee. Took it to another dealership in TAPPAHANOCK and they checked it out and fixed it for free, don't ask why they didn't charge me, but I didn't question it. Some dealerships I don't trust at all, but I do trust this dealership. Just like anything else, there is room for improvement. read more

I have never experienced the friendliness or courtesy at a car dealership that I had here! Had a break-down on I-95 about ten miles away from their location. It was only a couple of hours before they closed. Service got me in before they closed, assessed me of my problem and told me it could be fixed the next morning (bad water pump, worn serpentine belt- which I had sensed- and a bad pulley, which I felt might have been a problem too). I also got them do my 100,000 mile service, which I had also previously scheduled at my dealer back home. Even gave me a loaner so I could drive to my hotel! Big city dealers could learn a valuable lesson about customer service from this small town dealership! read more

ZERO STARS, I have to give em' 1 star or can't post review. Purchased a 2018 Chevy High Country diesel 4x4 crew cab standard bed single rear wheel pickup in January of 2019, took it to Luck Chevrolet in Ashland Virginia 3 times, every.time I got it back it had scratches and grease all over it. The 3rd time it went in, the engine block heater was replaced for a recall, got it back with scratches on the hood, scratches on the driver side front fender, both doors and the rear quarter panel, also, grease smeared on the light grey headliner around the grab handle on the drivers side and grease on the leather seats, steering wheel and the inside door panels! This is an extremely nice and very expensive pickup and they treated it like it was junk, I mentioned it to them and was told it was like that when it came in, even though i had video i took in their dealership when I dropped it off! I was able to clean it and remove all scratches but I shouldn't have had to! No respect for customers vehicles, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I now take my pickup to PATRICK GMC/BUICK 1/2 mile north of LUCK CHEVERLOT! THEY DO AMAZING WORK AND ARE VERY CONSCIOUS ABOUT TAKING CARE OF YOUR VEHICLE! read more

The first time we brought our car here, the advisor made us wait about 5 minutes before he even acknowledged us when we picked up our car...he was busy making small talk with another couple. We thought we'd give them another chance today. Dropped our car off at 8:45am (yes, we had an appointment) and they told us that they would be able to diagnose the issue by 2pm. We get there at 3pm and they haven't even looked at the car. Nor did they bother to call to say they were on a delay. No point in allowing customers to make appointments if those appointments aren't honored. The poor customer service here is disappointing. We will give our business to another company. read more

I would like to think if they know what is wrong with your vehicle and you make an appointment to get them fixed that they would order the parts to have for your appointment. Service writer then advised that they cannot service corvette Z06 due to their lift type and that they are not really a corvette dealership. Appointment was made six days in advance clearly they could have called or emailed to notify me. They did not bother. Very unprofessional. Service writer did not seem to care. I went to the dealership expecting the worst. I always have to fight with sales people and the F&I managers. Charlie McBride was my salesperson and he had all the information I had requested. I told him my needs and what my wife needed being she is ADA. He got us in the right vehicle for the right price. We did our research and yes, the deal was fair (in our eyes at least). Jack, the F&I manager was great. He left the local college football game to get financing in order for us (we ended up going through our credit union). We picked up our vehicle and we are very happy. I am so happy with this transaction I have asked Charlie to begin a search for my next vehicle for my oldest son when he graduates college. Luck Chevrolet has great people that are professionally competent, knowledgeable and friendly. My next purchase for myself will be from Luck. I highly recommend this dealer to anyone.
