Big, beautiful dealership & service shop. James was friendly and informative when setting up my car diagnostics appointment (in person). Courtney called to give me the findings, emailed me the breakdown and was very accessible when I had more questions. At pick up, she adjusted an error on my bill quickly and smoothly. Throughout the entire process, I felt well taken care of as a customer and thankful for the promptness of the schedule they keep. I always like to note my appreciation for pleasant interactions with staff, and at Luck Chevrolet, Courtney & James made this experience enjoyable, despite the fact that car expenses are such a drag. Would definitely recommend. read more

Been coming here for a few years now to get my service done. The staff is always friendly and the place is clean. Service is done properly and quickly. The waiting area is nice and comfortable with coffee, snack and drink machines. Love the dog who wanders around and comes to visit everyone in the service waiting area. I appreciate the small town dealership feel. read more

Where to start... I contacted Luck Chevrolet and was put with a salesman by the name of Ralph. I was interested in a 2021 2500 HD they had on the lot, I told Ralph the stock number and he confirmed it to be on the property and that it was in the detail department. I asked Ralph to go to the truck and look it over for damage and that I had noticed it appeared to be missing a center cap on one of the wheels. Ralph went and found the truck, looked it over and called me back within 30 mins. He told me that the truck was in excellent condition and he thought I would be really happy with it.. I explained to Ralph that it was nearly a 2 hour drive to the dealer from my home and didn't want to get there and the truck be in rough shape. He assured me it was good, I told him I would be headed that way soon and I'd come in when I got there. (this truck has been on the lot for about 5 weeks now according to their website).. when I arrived I asked for Ralph and he took me to the detail department, opened the door and said there's the truck! I knew at that point we had a issue... the truck he showed me was a 1500 and a complete different color than the one I was inquiring on..we walked back to his office ... Ralph spoke to the used car manager about the whereabouts of the truck in question.. the truck was down the road at patrick gmc getting detailed - I herd the manager state they had the seats out of it cleaning the carpets .. mind you this truck has 25k miles , I was also informed that the truck had also received new exhaust..?? I got pretty upset that I had driven all the way there to see a truck that was not available for me to see, Ralph called Patrick gmc to see if we could ride there and look at the truck.. they said no! everyone had left . I told Ralph how this had wasted 4 hours of driving , after I asked several times to be sure before we came of its condition. Ralph then got a attitude and said " look sir it's the holidays" mind you I was the only customer in the entire establishment... I know it's the holidays .. I took the day off to ride there to see the vehicle.. The pure incompetence of Ralph and Luck Chevrolet cost me a day of pay and multiple hours of wasted time .. I then left Luck and went to Patrick gmc where I explained to a fella there what I was dealt and he showed me the truck.. terrible condition, frame rust , dents, dings , and dog hair everywhere.. Also.. before I left luck I spoke to the used car manager and expressed my frustration with Ralph, he told me he had no idea I was coming .. I guess I have to call everyone in the building to let them know a customer is interested and is coming by to look at a car ... he assured me he would take car of it .. Im willing to bet that didn't happen.. Waste of time - they won't get a penny from me in the future and I'm gonna tell everyone who'll listen .. read more

Great sales team here and the service is good too. I highly recommend this dealer. Charlie in sales is the best

Routine maintenance done as expected. What I like best about Luck is the customer service they give as a tight knit group vs me getting passed around to answering machines at large dealerships. read more

This dealership is about in the middle. I have been to worse dealerships and some better. The service dept. could improve on friendless. If you make an appointment, it will take a while for them to get to your vehicle more often than not. Once they put the wrong mileage on the work order which was higher than what is on the vehicle. Why is this bad, well this info goes to CARFAX. So, when you sell the vehicle and it is the wrong mileage recorded it will look suspicious. One time on an oil changed they over filled but never happen since. I took my vehicle in to check out a noise and they wanted to charge a high price just to check it out with no guarantee. Took it to another dealership in TAPPAHANOCK and they checked it out and fixed it for free, don't ask why they didn't charge me, but I didn't question it. Some dealerships I don't trust at all, but I do trust this dealership. Just like anything else, there is room for improvement. read more

I have never experienced the friendliness or courtesy at a car dealership that I had here! Had a break-down on I-95 about ten miles away from their location. It was only a couple of hours before they closed. Service got me in before they closed, assessed me of my problem and told me it could be fixed the next morning (bad water pump, worn serpentine belt- which I had sensed- and a bad pulley, which I felt might have been a problem too). I also got them do my 100,000 mile service, which I had also previously scheduled at my dealer back home. Even gave me a loaner so I could drive to my hotel! Big city dealers could learn a valuable lesson about customer service from this small town dealership! read more

Had my brakes fail in front of this establishment and the owners and workers were extremely nice and helpful while towing came

ZERO STARS, I have to give em' 1 star or can't post review. Purchased a 2018 Chevy High Country diesel 4x4 crew cab standard bed single rear wheel pickup in January of 2019, took it to Luck Chevrolet in Ashland Virginia 3 times, every.time I got it back it had scratches and grease all over it. The 3rd time it went in, the engine block heater was replaced for a recall, got it back with scratches on the hood, scratches on the driver side front fender, both doors and the rear quarter panel, also, grease smeared on the light grey headliner around the grab handle on the drivers side and grease on the leather seats, steering wheel and the inside door panels! This is an extremely nice and very expensive pickup and they treated it like it was junk, I mentioned it to them and was told it was like that when it came in, even though i had video i took in their dealership when I dropped it off! I was able to clean it and remove all scratches but I shouldn't have had to! No respect for customers vehicles, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I now take my pickup to PATRICK GMC/BUICK 1/2 mile north of LUCK CHEVERLOT! THEY DO AMAZING WORK AND ARE VERY CONSCIOUS ABOUT TAKING CARE OF YOUR VEHICLE! read more

The first time we brought our car here, the advisor made us wait about 5 minutes before he even acknowledged us when we picked up our car...he was busy making small talk with another couple. We thought we'd give them another chance today. Dropped our car off at 8:45am (yes, we had an appointment) and they told us that they would be able to diagnose the issue by 2pm. We get there at 3pm and they haven't even looked at the car. Nor did they bother to call to say they were on a delay. No point in allowing customers to make appointments if those appointments aren't honored. The poor customer service here is disappointing. We will give our business to another company. read more

Thursday can not find problem we will keep it one more day Friday we cannot find problem come pick it up bring back when it gets worst - no charge go that Friday to pick up but decide to have them keep it to put tire on it " they will be installed Monday afternoon you can pick it up" Monday after work not installed, " we will have it done shortly " " 500 pm we can put them on , our tire machine doesn't fit your rim " " your total charge is just from last week it is 110$ " read more

Made an appointment to get a few items fixed that were keeping my check engine light on. These items were note on the oil change that I received there a few day earlier. I would like to think if they know what is wrong with your vehicle and you make an appointment to get them fixed that they would order the parts to have for your appointment. I you make that assumption here, you will be wrong!!! The even larger problem is they didn't seem to care Will never take anything to them again read more

Great dealership with friendly staff. Will always recommend them and go see John! Easy process and loving the hatchback. Lifetime customer.

Made appointment to get first service on car via the company website. VIN included. Arrived on time at 745am. Service writer then advised that they cannot service corvette Z06 due to their lift type and that they are not really a corvette dealership. Appointment was made six days in advance clearly they could have called or emailed to notify me. They did not bother. Very unprofessional. Service writer did not seem to care. Complaint filed direct with Chevrolet. read more

I was totally impressed, Charlie was amazing to work with, he took his time to show me several Trucks, so I can make the best choice for my needs. Everyone I met in the showroom that day was super friendly. I will definitely come back to Luck Chevrolet to purchase another vehicle and have my truck serviced. read more

An excellent experience. Very knowledgeable sales reps-- the entire buying process was smooth & efficient. I recommend Luck Chevrolet very highly. read more

Everyone is friendly and warm and a little puppy love from Stone is icing on the cake!

I went to the dealership expecting the worst. I always have to fight with sales people and the F&I managers. Charlie McBride was my salesperson and he had all the information I had requested. I told him my needs and what my wife needed being she is ADA. He got us in the right vehicle for the right price. We did our research and yes, the deal was fair (in our eyes at least). Jack, the F&I manager was great. He left the local college football game to get financing in order for us (we ended up going through our credit union). We picked up our vehicle and we are very happy. I am so happy with this transaction I have asked Charlie to begin a search for my next vehicle for my oldest son when he graduates college. Luck Chevrolet has great people that are professionally competent, knowledgeable and friendly. My next purchase for myself will be from Luck. I highly recommend this dealer to anyone. I am hoping the service department is as good as the sales department. I look forward to having Luck Chevrolet as my car people for years to come. read more
