Tacos were ok. The chicken in the tacos was not as nicely cooked as we have had in other taco trucks in the area. Veggie tacos were also just ok. There is one table under a cover, though we just ate in our car. There is a decent amount of parking next to the truck.

Craving street tacos, Richi's bright yellow Taco Truck was right in front of me as I was turning onto Lombard Street so I had to stop. Ordered 2 Pastor and 2 Carnitas tacos which were $2.00 each. When the dish was handed to me, immediately I knew these would be a snack because the dish was light as air. When I buy tacos at my favorite truck, Tehuana Oaxacan - by which all other tacos are measured - the plate Is really heavy because the tacos are filled with lots of meat and have just one tortilla. For comparison, Tehuana Oaxacan charges $3 a taco and I can only eat 2. These tacos were small and had two tortillas, so I took one off. Even with just one tortilla the meat to tortilla ratio was low. Even worse, the meat was very dry and had little flavor. I had to put Jalapeño sauce and lots of lime juice to moisten them up but they still had little flavor. It pains me to give a so-so review to a food truck, especially during these Covid days when restaurants and food trucks are struggling. But the tacos were just ok And not filling. I define ok as nothing special, no reason to have them again. Especially when there are so many places that have great tacos. Should have followed my original plan and drove down to the Alphabet area in NW to Tehuana Oaxacan on my way home. But when I saw Rich's truck right there, I figured I'd save time. Won't make that mistake again! Tomorrow I will be at Tehuana Oaxacan for legit tacos because the ones I had tonight did not in any way satisfy my craving.

$19.50+ tip Went back for missing taco Dont take my $ & not give me my food Give me 1 more $3.50 taco free instead of an old burrito bowl.

This food truck visited my apt to offer 2 free tacos to residents between 5pm and 7pm. Many residents here. At 6pm they were already out but still SELLING food. My 6 yr old was sad so I bought 5 tacos for 3.50 each. Went straight back to our apt....missing a taco. $19.50 (including a $2.00 tip). Went back to the truck. They offered me a burrito bowl (that was probably a missorder) that was already made. My son doesn't like sour cream. I just wanted what I ordered. After coming BACK home with the $3.50 street taco i should have had already gotten, they should have offered an extra one just to accommodate, not just pass of an already made, don't know when, burrito bowl I didn't order. $13 for that btw...They should've offered me 3 free tacos instead of old food. Watch out.

We were at Joann's & one too many craft decisions that should have been played out in my head but wasn't later...A was bordering on hangry. I could feel it. Yelping the closest well starred place landed us just a parking lot away at Richi's. With cash on hand being our max spending limit, we went with the hurache with pastor, chicken torta, 1 asada taco, and 1 lengua taco. The lady was on the phone when she took our order. It was a bit awkward because it felt like we were interrupting. The food came out pretty quickly and the chairs filled up with teenagers from the max station across the street ordering tortas. We scarfed it down and dodged a hangry bullet. There also weren't any napkins so I had to be dainty with my taco handling. Afterwards, we realized it was good, but better can be had at Taqueria Santa Cruz or even Taco Del Sol.

Asada tacos

Best tacos ever. Its 2.50 for a taco and they're kind of small, but they're so juicy and flavorful. I come here at least 3x a week.

Richi's is my favorite taco cart by a long shot. I assume that they have a restaurant somewhere in Hillsboro, but I have never been to it. The cart is in the parking lot of a seedy-looking apartment complex right across the street from the Beaverton Transit Center. They recently remodeled their space so there are now parking spaces right in front of it. The cart also has a table with an umbrella and some chairs but most of the time it is either rainy and wet or I just get my food to go. My favorite thing to get are the carnitas and pastor tacos. They come standard on two little tortillas with onion and cilantro. The carnitas is always lean and always moist. It is not crispy, but other then that, it is pretty much perfection. The pastor is done well so that it is flavorful but not TOO sweet. This cart also makes delicious sopes, tortas, and burritos. They generally have four different bottles of sauce. The green being my personal favorite. Honestly, it varies a bit day-to-day but on a good day it packs a good punch! They have the standard Jarritos and other bottles beverages. They also have flan in their cold case which I've tried once and it seems a bit to...custardy for my tastes. Richi's is a solid place to get a quick bite. It has a good central location (if you are in Beaverton) and is open fairly late. It always feels like a good alternative to fast food past 9 PM. Oh and so you know, this place is cash only.

Pure fat that they put as "meat" in 2 of my 3 tacos.

This restaurant could be a case study in a book that delves into really poor business marketing…read more This restaurant has been here forever. There are quite a few Mexican themed restaurants and food trucks within a mile or two. There is a large Mexican population living here and Mexican workers are all over the place. So to stand out a business would need to really separate themselves from the herd. That is, they need to stand out in a positive way. This place is a massive fail in that regard. I happen to enjoy Mexican cuisine a lot. I always appreciate being surprised by an amazing, tasty, reasonably priced, filling Mexican restaurant. There are several nearby neighborhood Mexican places that provide that experience consistently. This is not one of them. You will find unremarkable food here. Indifferent wait stall. A boringly average menu. Smaller portions at premium prices. Nothing to see here folks. This restaurant has had coupons in the local shoppers every week for decades. So when I decided to check this place out I showed up with one of those coupons. If I recall it was a coupon that took a dollar or two off the meal price if you spent more than a certain amount and ordered a specific set of items. So at checkout time they declined to accept the coupon because I ordered a medium drink and not a large. Huh? Rare for a business to use coupons to completely alienate new customers! Do I care about the two bucks that they chiseled out of me? No I do not. Would I ever patronize a business that is this out of touch with what good customer service is? No. Never been back. Never will. What the heck, Mazatlan has an unlimited supply of new customer prospects coming by so they don't need me, right? What a shabby outfit. YMMV.

I wanted pizza. He wanted a burrito. He had mentioned wanting to try this food truck so I looked it up on Yelp (obviously!) And got the address. We pulled up and there was one person ahead of him so I figured it would take a while. He got a Carne Asada Burrito. He got two different salsas a red and a green and he got a side of pickled veggies. Which were jalapenos, carrots and onions. He got his order super fast and I said that's a small burrito lol but it was just the side of pickled veggies. But when we got home he said WHOA this burrito is huge!!! He couldn't eat it all in one sitting. He ate the green sauce and said it was one of the best hot sauces he'd ever had. I licked the lid and he wasn't wrong. The flavor was so rich and there was heat but it wasn't overwhelming the flavor. Very very good. He didn't try the red sauce so I didn't get to try it. The pickled vegetables though. OM*G they are THE BEST I've ever tasted. Such good acidity and flavorful as *^%# YES this stuff was amazing. He said next time he's going to pack the box full of them lol. Frankly I'd go there JUST for those veggies and hot sauce. He said 5 stars GREAT value and great flavor. So we will absolutely be back!!! Oh and next time (sorry y'all) I'll get pictures!!!

I really should have stopped there. They were very filling. I don't know what I was expecting but they are potato taquitos and topped with meat. A good amount of it too. The bummer is that it did not travel well. When I fit home I ate the crispy ends off but has the middles as leftovers. Almost like chilaquiles. The pork taco was very good. I like the microgreens on it. I was hoping the tortilla was fluffier but can't argue with handmade tortillas The fish taco was put together well but I am not a big fan of chipotle. It was glazed in chipotle and the slaw was chipotle so I was not a fan. For the size and quality the price is right. On par with any decent taco place around.

Ambience: The decor is colorful and vibrant without feeling overwhelming. It has that perfect balance of lively but still comfortable. It works for date night or mom's night out. The energy feels warm and inviting. Service: The servers were attentive, friendly, and efficient. Food came out quickly, but nothing felt rushed. You can tell they care about the experience. Food: The margaritas were simple but outstanding -- refreshing, balanced, and not overly sweet. The fried chayote completely surprised me. If you've never had chayote, it's a mild, slightly crisp squash. Here, it was fried golden and light with a tender bite inside. The dipping sauce was incredibly flavorful -- bold, savory, and layered. Every bite honestly punched my taste buds in the best way possible. Nothing bland here. We also ordered the braised beef taquitos, and wow. Crispy on the outside, filled with potatoes, and topped with flavorful delicious beef on top and clearly made fresh to order. Everything tasted vibrant and well-seasoned. Overall, ambience, service, and food were all top tier. We'll definitely be back.
