I called the provider to follow up and he canceled the drive and told them I canceled the request. He didn't want a negative score with the carrier because he forgot to send a driver so he lied. We are still on the interstate waiting on a different towing company. This is ridiculous. If you forgot just say you did and fix it. Why lie?

I waited an hour before making contact as no one has shown up or contacted me. . Felix Vlad unfortunately did not do his job. He checked with the driver & advised me the driver was still 15 mins or more away. I expressed concern as I was actually in a dangerous location & per Steele's the driver was to arrive in 45 mins. Mr. Vlad denied this, I expressed I didn't want to speak with him further & hung up. 10 mins later in a retaliatory act my tow was canceled & this employee LIED & noted on the file I had yelled & argued with him. I was hit by a driver who ran a red light. I was in pain, my car got towed, and all I wanted was to…read moreget my belongings and take photos for insurance. What I got instead was one of the most degrading experiences of my life. The tow company ("Roadside Heroes" / RVA Roadside LLC) never gave me an address. I had to track down the location myself through a reverse phone lookup -- and even the police couldn't find the place. Every time I called to ask for directions, the driver hung up on me. Multiple times. Even when I was still at the hospital. When I finally found the lot the next morning, he kept me waiting outside a locked gate, then told me on a call that he had me "on speaker," mocking me while I cried to my mother in what I thought was a private conversation. When he showed up, I asked a simple question, and he told me, quote: "In all my 8 years, I ain't never dealt with no ghetto bitch." When I told him I'm a 52-year-old woman, he said I sounded like a "52-year-old child," pushed the gate into me to keep me out, and threatened to have me arrested for trespassing and assault -- for standing outside his own business waiting to get my things. I never touched him. I never cursed at him. The only thing I said was that his behavior was racist. His response was to threaten a false police report on the spot. When officers arrived, one told me flat out, "Don't talk to me, you talk to him." No report was filed against him. No accountability. Just a Black woman in pain, standing outside a gate, being talked to like she didn't matter. If you are a person of color, be careful with this company. If you're anyone at all, be careful with this company. This is not how you treat a customer -- let alone one who was just in an accident and is trying to get her own property back. I am filing a formal complaint and pursuing this further. This should not happen to anyone.
