This Dentist office lied about being in my network, Charged the highest prices I have ever seen…read more(and I moved from the city), doesn't let you get billed properly, makes you come in for multiple appointments, adds charges, AND caused my mouth to ache for over a week from a cavity! I recently moved to Roselle and was looking for a new dentist and Wolski had great reviews online. However, now looking at them closer, I think any new reviews that were bad, were removed. Years ago there are reviews warning about the insane prices, and sadly I missed these. I called and asked them if they were in my network and provided my insurance. They said yes- which I just found out was a LIE. My first visit I made an appointment for a cleaning. They did x-rays and then I was told I would have to return for my cleaning...which I have never ever experienced and I have been to over 4 dentists-due to relocations. I was bothered because I specifically made the appointment for the cleaning and a possible cavity. I was charged an insanely high price for x-rays and told I had to pay then and there. I told them that I always waited to get billed to my address, after insurance has gone through and made adjustments. I was told that's not how they do it because "You cant just go to the store and leave with free milk". Which made no sense to me because I have insurance and have ALWAYS paid later. I returned for my cleaning a month later, and they fit me in for a cavity as well because I reminded them it was bothering me. He charged me $395 for a cavity!! My insurance covers 80% but I still have never been charged such a high price. I realized there was no negotiated rate and that's when my suspicions kicked in. I was told to pay for my cleaning too...which I said no to because my insurance covers it at 100%. I still left the office paying $175 for a cavity because of how high the charge was. After talking to my insurance, I found out he is not in my network and I was lied to. I am beyond upset at this treatment and on top of it was in pain for over a week from a filling, and I still cant bite down properly. I told him this before leaving and he told me to come back AGAIN because "it was probably just the numbing cream" (which he charges $82 for by the way). I didn't even go in to get it fixed because I feel completely taken advantage of with this entire situation. I plan to go somewhere else actually in my network where I will pay a quarter of the price.

I only wish I started coming here sooner. I've seen Dr Dustin Wylde, he works at a great pace and most importantly is very good at what he does, the best quality dentist I've had. He also has a great personality. The entire staff here is very professional but also pleasant and friendly. I don't want to misspell their names but everyone I've come into contact here has been great. They use modern equipment (the way they were able to measure and design my new crown was very cool) I deal with a lot of vertigo and anxiety issues which makes me nervous anytime I need dental work, and they have been very accommodating and do a great job of putting me at ease and working with me. Besides that, my mouth was in bad shape, I have a bad history with dental genes and decay, to the point where it's embarrassing for me, but they've always been nice about it and have helped me get to a point where I don't mind flashing my smile. In one hour Dr Forfar removed the 2 teeth, inserted 2 posts for implants and stitched me up. I was given post surgery directions, they sent the prescription to my pharmacy before surgery so it was ready when I left the office. I would come back again.

Since I get extremely nervous, in our consultation we decided it would be my best option to go with some medicine to help me get comfortable. We did that along with laughing gas and I can't believe I am saying this but, I cannot remember that entire day. My sister came to pick me up after the procedure and filmed the entire thing. Of course I really did embarrass myself by falling asleep a couple times while the nurse was giving me instructions, but thats just normal apparently :O Anyway, Dr. Swanson PERSONALLY wheeled me out in a wheelchair to my sister's car. Yep. My dentist wheeled me to the car. Not the nurse. That never happens! Long story short, Dr. Swanson is a great guy and a fantastic dentist. I will be seeing him for all of my dental needs.

Sure, the front desk and initial visit feel overly welcoming, but that quickly fades once you're actually in the chair. The quality of care during treatment is completely different; rushed, inattentive, and honestly frustrating. There's a clear disconnect between how they present themselves upfront and how things actually run behind the scenes. Another huge red flag is how often the staff changes. Every time I've been there, it feels like there's a whole new team. That kind of turnover says a lot, and it definitely affects the consistency of care. The doctor herself is very avoidant. It's hard to get direct answers or feel like your concerns are being taken seriously. On top of that, not even wearing loupes during procedures feels unprofessional and careless & especially in a setting where precision matters. On top of everything, the office itself is noticeably dirty. It doesn't feel clean or well-maintained, which is the last thing you want in a medical or dental setting. She explained what she was doing, made sure I was comfortable the entire time, and somehow managed to be both gentle and extremely detailed. One of the best cleanings I've ever had. Dr. Amante himself was outstanding. I had three very small fillings in my top and bottom molars, and the entire process was shockingly easy. No shots -- just a gel -- no pain at all, and he was in and out in about 10 minutes. His efficiency and confidence immediately put me at ease, and the work was flawless. What really sets Dr. Amante apart is his level of training and credentials. He is a MAGD (Master of the Academy of General Dentistry), which is a distinction earned by a very small percentage of dentists, and it shows in his precision, conservative approach, and overall care. You can tell he truly knows his craft. Between the professionalism, comfort, and exceptional skill of the entire team, this is easily one of the best dental experiences I've had. Unfortunately, I give a low rating because the front office is probably the worst experience I have had at this office, and I would rate it the same in comparison to other practices. This is not a single instance but many over a few years. Imagine if they are about delighting patients and bringing that administrative front office experience to be on par with Clinical capability? That would be WOW! I will recommend Dr. Zulawinski, as one of the best Dentists, but qualify and prepare anyone for a negative experience with the front office.

The problem was that they failed to tell me the practice no longer accepted my insurance, which they had accepted previously. The response from the responsible party (the lead partner in the practice was absolutely nothing); however, the front office staff once again showed how obnoxious, sarcastic, and rude they are. Never again and I would never recommend the practice. Finally, the dentist and hygienist insisted I have dental surgery and referred me to a specialist. I found one with a better reputation and he said that there was "nothing to indicate surgery was indicated." I would recommend avoiding this practice.
