This was shocking news, and not once did the dentist come to see me, or deliver this devastating news himself. How unprofessional can one be! The dentist, Vishal, is young but very knowledgeable and confident in all things dentist related (or at least with the things I needed). I went here because the place that I visited for my biannual checkup gave me some outrageous prices on the cavities I needed filled and a root canal. So I came here for a free consultation and his prices were so great they booked me in the next day. Since I had 4 cavities, 3 on one side, he broke my appt into two. The first one was the 3 and it took less than 90 minutes from the time I walked in, to the time I walked out. The 2nd appt for the one took less than 30 minutes! All my cavities are filled and I did not need a root canal - Thank God!! Before the fillings the dentist spent quality time going through my X-rays and answering my questions. Overall it was a great experience. I highly recommend and will be returning.

I've been a patient here for many years and absolutely loved Dr. McShane. He built an incredible…read moreneighborhood practice, and for a long time I trusted this office completely. Unfortunately, over the past few years, things have changed. Since his kids began taking over, I've felt less heard as a patient and increasingly uncomfortable with treatment recommendations. I've also noticed a significant increase in fillings and what feels like a push toward more aggressive procedures. For three years, I raised concerns about tooth pain and was repeatedly brushed off. When it was finally addressed, I was told it was a "small cavity" that could be filled quickly. That was not the case. It turned out to be much more extensive, and now a large portion of my tooth is gone. I've also had at least three fillings done by Dr. Colleen, and two of them needed to be redone by Dr. Matt. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend asking questions and considering having fillings or more complex work done by another provider. Another concern is their payment policy. Payment is required at the time of service based on an estimate, which may not reflect the final insurance adjustment. This puts patients in a position of potentially overpaying upfront, and it's unclear how discrepancies are handled. You can also see changes in the practice overall, especially with the turnover in hygienists. It feels like every appointment involves a cancellation or reschedule due to someone leaving unexpectedly, which has made the experience feel inconsistent and disorganized. It's honestly sad to see, because this used to feel like a truly special, community-focused practice. Dr. McShane built something great, and it feels like it's slowly slipping. I do appreciate Dr. Matt for stepping in and correcting issues when needed. However, I will be leaving the practice once Dr. McShane retires.
