I won't work with them again. The work was shoddy.
I hired them to repair some termite damage in my home. For how much I paid, I expected a high degree of service. That's not what I got. These workers don't seem to be trained. Which means they need quality supervision, and they weren't given that. The result is that I could have performed these repairs better myself. After they left, I had to fix some of what they did. It makes me mad to think of how careless their work was.
Besides the shoddy work, they're also not great to work with on a personal level. They're friendly, so that's good. My issue is that while they were working on the original repairs, I realized that there was another small repair that I'd like them to make. So that was added to the project. Unfortunately, they didn't do what I asked them to do. Specifically, there's a damaged roof rafter in my attic that I asked them to replace. Instead of replacing it, they sistered another board to it. If that's what I had wanted, I would have done that myself for $20 rather than the $700 they charged. It was ridiculous. I agreed to that price because I expected them to have to support the roof while working. When I told them that this wasn't what I wanted, they didn't fix it or refund me. That's totally unacceptable. I won't work with this company again.
Foolishly, I paid them midway through the job. I assumed they knew what they were doing, and that paying them sooner would be convenient for both of us. If I had realized how bad the work was, I would not have paid the second half until they did things correctly. Overall this was an expensive lesson for me.
I have more criticisms, but you get the point. Find someone else. read more
