From the moment I walked in, every single staff member I met was just fantastic. Alizé at check-in was a total rockstar--she kept her cool even with a long line, and her smile could light up a room. Amee made financing for LASIK super easy to understand, and Vanessa walked me through each step of the process with the patience of a saint. And then there's Dr. Kim...he's absolutely amazing. He explained everything with such clarity and warmth that it felt like sipping the perfect cup of hot chocolate on a chilly day...comforting, reassuring, and just what I needed. What really stood out to me was how no one was pushy about getting LASIK. They took the time to answer all my questions and made sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I was impressed by how detail-oriented and friendly the entire team was, from the assistants to the surgeons. It's clear that they genuinely care about your vision and your experience. Their confidence in their work is evident in their 20/20 vision guarantee, which speaks volumes about their commitment to excellence. Overall, Dr. Kim and his team are truly the perfect prescription for a fantastic experience! (Hehe. Get it.. 'Perfect prescription'. I just Love puns)

The office staff/receptionists, however, are too often rude and seem resentful at having to answer the phone and help patients. As far as their 'Boutique," however, I purchased a really expensive pair of glasses. After wearing them a couple of days, I found they were a defective design--the cross bar protruded radically onto the lens, visible in your line of sight constantly. I was told to wear them and try to get used to it. Unable to, I was put through hell getting a refund even when the office manager acknowledged the defect--and I was 'banned' by letter from ever entering their 'Boutique' as punishment. From poor service by the Boutique, to failure to stand by their product, to trying to humiliate their clients.

I had been treated by a number of other specialists over a 5 month period that were unable to determine the cause of my blood blisters, etc. The bags of blood protruded directly out of my eyes not allowing my lids to close. He performed one surgery immediately that helped relief some pressure on my eyes as I waited for another, more serious surgery that took 7 hours a week later. I am so thankful for his knowledge and compassion. I highly recommend Dr. Grand for any eye problems you may be suffering from. He will immediately know your problem and how to treat it plus get you in with another specialist to help in those areas out of his expertise. His office personnel were equally helpful and had great compassion!

I've been having episodes of debilitating and extreme double vision and dizziness for four years…read morenow. For the last two years, my regular neurologist has been refusing to address my issue, saying I need to see a neuro-ophthalmologist first. I waited over 18 months to see another (more qualified) doctor, but I couldn't get an appointment. Six months later I was told about Dr. Grand by a colleague of his. I was able to see him quite quickly because of a cancellation (the only reason I'd give him one star--it was the only thing that went well). When I arrived, a nurse, assistant, or tech saw me first. She gave me a tracking exam; it was quite thorough based on other exams I've had. It probably lasted 45 seconds or so, when my other exams only lasted 10 or 15 seconds. After that exam, Dr. Grand appeared. He asked me what my issues were. I told him I was having double vision and dizziness. That's all I ever had a chance to say about my symptoms. He cut in and started looking at my chart; he looked for about 30 seconds, then said he didn't have any of my MRI images. I told him they were supposed to have been included when my doctor sent over my medical records, and I was going to offer to get them to him. He cut in again and looked around in his system for a few more seconds, saying they could be there, but he may not be looking in the right place. He shrugged it off and said he did have the MRI written report, which he read (all of this took about 1.5 minutes). He pointed out my (nearly) normal results, including the eyes themselves. He tested my depth perception, which took about five seconds. Then he examined my eyes with the prism. He took the longest there, but only because he was interested in the corneal surgery I'd had about 35 years ago. The scars from it are very noticeable, and he was fascinated by them. We talked about the four procedures I had had on my corneas. This exam (including our conversation) took about five minutes. He stopped examining my eyes, and we talked about having prisms in my glasses (I already have them). He told me to keep them and to talk to my regular ophthalmologist about it. This conversation took about one minute. Then he told me that my eyes looked and were functioning normally, so he couldn't help me. He got up and left! This declaration took about 10 seconds. In the end, I spent less than 9 minutes in Dr. Grand's company. I've waited two years for this, and he forgot about the NEURO part of his specialty. I never even got to tell him the history of my condition. I didn't get to tell him any specifics of my episodes. He didn't know how severe my symptoms are because I wasn't having trouble while I was in his office (I had one later in the day) and he didn't ask or even let me talk. He is totally incompetent and does not know how to communicate. I filed a grievance against him with my insurance company.

Every staff member I've interacted with has been so kind, welcoming, and helpful. The office is also really nice. It's clean, comfortable, and feels very well taken care of, which definitely makes you feel more at ease when you're there. I had been dealing with dry eye issues since May and had been struggling to find somewhere that could see me in a reasonable amount of time. I was really thankful that Sac Eye Consultants was able to get me in much sooner. Even though dry eye may not always be considered an urgent issue, I had been dealing with symptoms for months and it was really affecting me. I truly appreciate that they have availability for patients who are struggling and need to be seen, even if their issue isn't necessarily considered an emergency. It meant a lot to me to finally be able to get an appointment and start getting some answers. The bad part was checking in online! I was having trouble doing it and I tried it several times and it may have been my fault, however when I was checking in, I told the human at the desk that I was having issues filling it out online and instead of offering any other type of paperwork to fill out, he only said unfortunately I have to do it online! I find this to be absolutely pathetic way of doing business You should always offer another way for me to do what was once your job! And that's another reason on how pathetic my experience was! The funny part is that I have some of best insurance coverage you can get!

Very nice people who were helpful and patient with my grandfather when I brought him in for a referral on cataracts surgery. As soon as Keith walked in, he was rude, dismissive, disrespectful, and did not even have all of his facts straight. He spoke over my grandfather, dismissed his concerns, and spoke to him as if he was a child. It was only when I stepped in and started to push back that Keith toned down the attitude, but not by much. Keith told my grandfather that he could not perform the cataracts surgery unless my grandfather was laying flat on his back. My grandfather is disabled and is unable to accommodate this position. When we told Keith this, his response was "then I guess you don't want the surgery cause I can't do it any other way" followed by "you're telling me you can't lay flat for this, you have trouble with my machines here in office, and you can't even tell me why". When my grandfather said he could try laying flat, Keith said "you don't try with this, you either do it York you don't". There are plenty of other doctors in the region who can perform this surgery without the patient laying flat. The fact that Keith refuses to do so speaks volumes about him as a so-called doctor. If he can't accommodate a patient with a disability, he needs to find a different line of work. It was unbelievable the way he spoke to my grandfather, and I have already filed a formal complaint against him. Do not trust this man to work on your eyes. If he cannot accommodate a minor position shift for this, what else can't he do satisfactorily? Never mind the rudeness and unprofessional nature of the visit, this is a safety concern. If you're referred to Keith Liang, RUN in the other direction.

I have never came here for a major health issue, so I am not too sure how the doctor's expertise and evaluation would be. Usually, I schedule an appointment a month in advance in order to get medication or a prescription for an ongoing health problem that I have. Although I have a scheduled appointment, it still takes about 30 minutes to an hour for them to call me inside to get my vitals done. The staff taking my vitals are usually not health professionals, but friends or family of the Doctor because they are older and do not happen to speak much English. I mean not a lot of English is required since everyone pretty much knows the process - put your arm out with palms facing up and then they slide the arm cuff onto the arm and press the button until the blood pressure is read. Next would be getting on the scale which automatically reads your weight and then they pull out this snazzy little height scale to measure my height. Afterwards, I get directed to the patient room and wait another 20-30 minutes before the doctor can see me. After the doctor comes in, he asks why I'm here and then I tell him I need a refill and he writes the prescription and I'm out of there in about 3 minutes. The waiting process takes about 1-1.5 hours even with an appointment while the doctor only sees me for a good 3 minute. I can't imagine how'd it would be like without an appointment. I can't wait to find a new doctor that cares about my health. I do no recommend this doctor office at all. :(
