If I could give 0 stars I would! Just went there today for the first time ever because my daughter went to the CareNow next to it and wanted to try it. We were the only ones in the restaurant but waited 30 mins. The food was mediocre at best when we received it. The worst part was when I received my food I was confused as to why I had those type of noodles with my entree. I asked the guy upfront if I could switch them out or just have fried rice instead. He was very rude and hostile and told me no, you ordered that so that's what you got. I said I understand that's what I ordered but I had no idea there were different types on noodles other than lo mein. He said you got what you ordered so I'm not replacing anything. I told him this is my first time in and I had no idea I would be getting these super thick noodles instead. He started yelling and telling me we don't do refunds or replacements, you get what you ordered and that's it. The worst customer service I've ever experienced! I've frequented the establishment for years, normally I order online and have the meals delivered. This was the first time we ordered over the phone and picked up. Our order was quite simple : 2 large veggie rice with eggs, carrots, and peas only and a shrimp fried rice, extra shrimp (charged $3 for extra when no extra were visible) and eggs only and sugar biscuits. There was a reception issue so we hung up and called back on another phone. My total was almost $44. I was asked questions like what don't I want on the rice? Idk, I don't make the rice and don't know what comes on it when all I get is shrimp and eggs. We received the order and my shrimp fried rice had shrimp, carrot, peas, and onions. I took the order back and the guy who worked the drive through on 11/29/25 was so rude. He told me he repeated the order to me. Well onions were never mentioned in the conversation. He said I could just said no onions. I said or I could have told you the only things I wanted. He proceeded to tell me what other customers do. Then asked me, what did I want him to do? I told him he had 2 options, make the rice the way I wanted or give me my money back, those were his only options. He took the rice, remade it, and gave it to me wrong again this time this time with shrimp, carrots and peas. I stayed at the window for a moment and no one returned. Friday my boyfriend was really craving some asian food and he wanted to try a new place and this is what we found. We ordered orange chicken, general tso's, lo mien, and the two main entrees coke with fried rice and we ordered it for take out. Very good price for how large the portions were. We got it home and we demolished it, but in reality we barely put a dent in it, lol. The orange chicken was delightful, the sauce was tasty and the chicken was crispy and hot, same goes for the general tso's! The rice had a wonderful flavor, and don't get me started on the lo mein, great flavor and decent sized shrimp in it, oh man was it good!! And it was good the next day, if anything the sauces marinated even deeper int the chicken. Def will be back in the near future for some tasty Asian food takeout. I've gone here for many months, and today I was completely disrespected. my mom went up there and made the order, when she came back it was wrong. I called up there and they said she couldn't understand them, and it was her fault. it's whatever, I'll go back up there and get my right order and switch it out. I didn't touch the food. well they repeated the order, it was correct. I get back (while I'm working) and it's wrong.... again!!! so I called and said hey this is wrong again, but I can't come back up there I also want to add, my mom is a generous person. she tipped them $20! he got into an argument with me and said to come get the tip and never come back. The total was $17.50 but the app wouldn't let me complete it until the total was $15 without tax. So added a cup of egg drop soup. Why not! Took an hour for delivery but that's the highlight. Besides the food still being hot. Dove into the egg drop soup and no kidding....there was 0 flavor. NADA. Even after I dumped a package of soy sauce in. I had to stop eating it. The lo mein was very mediocre and somewhat bland too. The highlight was going to hopefully be the shrimp....NOPE. So overcooked they were almost like eating rocks. I'm not sure when, but this place changed management (and maybe even the name) because I'd been here before and wasn't too crazy to return but the family kept raving on how good the food is....so we went. I wasn't expecting to be able to order the lunch option during the weekend, but we were able to. We ordered a shrimp fried rice with extra egg, combo lo mein and honey sesame chicken, and it all came with chicken egg rolls. We dined in and the food came quick and everything looked bomb (not dry and flavorful) and IT WAS. The servings were huge and of course we had to get to go plates. My husband and I ordered through door dash. The door dasher called us and stated that our food had been given away. She stood there and waited for them to re-make our entire order. We got our food and the vegetable pad Thai had no vegetables, different type of noodle, and some other things that do not go in pad Thai(ordered here before). I called the location only to have the lady be extremely rude, refuse to give her name, refuse to help, and the manager then said you can call tomorrow. I ordered pad thai (p.s. they charge for peanuts) and found a hair in my food. In addition, they forgot an egg roll. We also ordered orange chicken and crab wontons. I called about the hair (and missing egg roll) and after explaining it to the nice lady that answered the call - A man took over the call and I explained it again. He was definitely perturbed and said they can send another Pad Thai - ummm...no, I mean at this point -this pregnant mama- didn't want to risk it. I mean, if a hair is gonna make it in the food, then by me complaining, I may end up with something worse hidden. And I told him so. Of course, he didn't like that - I mean, I wouldn't either as it was an accusation about their integrity and I may have been wrong to say it - BUT I was feeling that way. Anyways, things were tense and it would've ended better for everyone as I was only requesting a refund of the Pad Thai. But, they state they are unable to do that. And so, I demanded the full refund. If my only option is another food item, and that doesn't appeal to me, then that doesn't leave much room for anything else. So, naturally we are parting ways. There's not a great deal of chinese restaurants around Denton, this is a fairly good choice out of the ones that we have tried. It's a pretty small restaurant, far better for takeout than to dine in. They are pretty stingy on the rice so you may want to order extra. The main dish is generous though. Their orange chicken is good but a little spicy which I think takes away from the orange flavor. On March 20, my daughter and I went (masked) into the restaurant for lunch. The kitchen was visible, but I didn't see any staff at the time I ordered. The cashier wasn't masked, but I looked past that. He was not handling food. We self served our drinks and as we walked back past the cashier, we saw the cooks had reentered the kitchen. none of the cooks were masked. I approached the cashier and told him I was concerned that the cooks went masked-he responded that the new state guidelines didn't require it. I told him that it makes me uncomfortable that the business didn't choose to keep the cooks masked until there is some greater assurance that its "not necessary" for food handlers to mask He shrugged....and said well, the rules don't require it, so we're not. I asked him to cancel my order and refund me, except for my drinks. He willingly compliedthe drinks at no charge. While I appreciate the willingness to refund me, I'm deeply concerned that this business has so little regard for not taking that simple step to protect their customers. read more

*HEALTH CODE VIOLATION* Ordered through DoorDash and flagged my shrimp allergy in the comment section of each item. Thankfully the restaurant called but informed me that "everything" is cross contaminated with shellfish (i.e. utensils, surfaces, oils, etc) so I cancelled the order. I'm appreciative that they called but this is very dangerous practice and against food + safety guidelines. If I hadn't flagged the shrimp allergy I wouldn't have been informed of the unavoidable contamination, and would likely be in the hospital as its a deathly food allergy. read more
