    Loco Moco (It's All Gravy)
    Monica H.

I tried out this food truck back when it was still known as It's All Gravy. The Loco Moco is pure deliciousness (a tad bit too much gravy). However, the Curry Shrimp is bomb ... delicious with just the right amount of heat. It totally made my day, so make it yours and sink your teeth into this mouth-watering creation!

Tried this food truck for the first time today @Off The Grid in SFO. Ordered my food for Lunch from OTG experience app and was happy to get 40% off my purchase by using Apple Pay so that was pretty awesome. Their items on their menu all looks super good just by looking at the photos and I settled to order their Loco Moco Rice Bowl. And a colleague of mine ordered the Curry Shrimp Rice Bowl. We/I was super excited to try it. When we picked up our orders and was finally able to seat and have our lunch, the presentation and aroma of the food was truly mouth watering. However, My Loco Moco was just ok only because I think they went a little overboard with the salt on the gravy. Otherwise it would have been perfect! The Curry Shrimp turned out to be the best and my colleague enjoyed his meal and finished it all up! Will definitely give them a try again next time that maybe it'll be a much better experience for me.

Great choice for a quick fix of protein and carbs!!! If your not a fan of beef...I totally recommend the soy ginger chicken. It's amazing. Full of tang and sweetness. The proportions were decent for the price. Not a meat eater? Then you NEED to try the Brussel sprouts. Absolutely to die for. They were cooked well and the sauce was truly made for the vegetable. They seemed to be best friends.

Super friendly service. Food was a little on the salty side. Not true Hawaiian food, but the flavors were good, but a bit salty.

I've dined here more than a handful of times and every visit was memorable. Sung and his team consistently delivered exceptional food, every dish was solid and clearly made with pride. You could taste the quality and it was consistent every single time. Beyond the food, what always stood out was the hospitality. Sung genuinely made an effort to connect with his guests, remembering faces, checking in at the table and ensuring everyone felt welcomed and valued. He made sure you had a good experience and you could tell he cared. One thing I've learned on my food journey is this: follow the chef. When you find someone who pours heart into their craft, you support them wherever they go next! Looking forward to whatever Sung does next. I already know it's for sure going to be just as good!

Even before this most recent visit, I'd enjoyed intimate dinners here for its creative, Korean-Thai-inspired menu that always packed an impressive punch of flavor but, dare I say, the brunch might be even better. The steak sandwich was absolutely phenomenal, with the steak seasoned and cooked to perfection and pairing beautifully with the charred onion aioli, plus a side of expertly crisped smashed potatoes that were so addicting. The steamed mussels were sumptuous and packed with umami, and I loved the two large bricks of toasted sourdough focaccia that were perfect for sopping up every last bit of the delicious dashi broth. But the pièce de résistance was the custard French toast, which I can only describe as the love child of bread pudding and tres leches cake as it was crispy on the outside but uber moist on the inside, custardy, and simply divine. Kothai will be deeply missed in the neighborhood, but I'm excited to see what's next for chef/owner Sung Park and will be first in line for whatever future project comes next.

We opted to try the cambodian beef skewers, khmer salad and mee ka tang. At the time we went, the phnom penh noodles that was shown in some menu images was removed as an option. The beef skewers were tender with balanced flavors of the aromatics, including lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves. The khmer salad reminded me of papaya salad but with different greens. The salad had just the right amount of dressing--it was flavorful without being overpowering or drenched in sauce. The mee ka tang had wok-charred noodles topped with a mild, lightly seasoned gravy and a generous portion of protein. The prices are reasonable. Food comes out quickly and the staff is very sweet. Overall a great spot for Thai food.
