BIG MISTAKE! Although I brought a picture with the hair style I wanted. I got nothing like it. The hairstylist looked at the picture and looked and kept on looking at it. Even she asked me to send her the picture to her phone. Which I did. Well, I got nothing like the picture, she cut way too much!! although she kept looking and looking at the picture I brought!! The hairstylist said she's doing this work for something like 27 years? It's noticeable because I got and old hair style cut. I know I won't be back. The place is ok. Nothing to brag about. Is average. They do overcharged for what they offer. That wasn't and issue for me. I just didn't get what I asked for or what they promised me She knows that my hair, before she put her hands on it, was beautiful. I was happy with the way it looked I just wanted a new style NOT to have it chopped it all!! I heard Super Cuts have good hairstylists for a fraction of what Visage charges. Something to think about. I'm sure won't be worse than Visage.

I was greeted nicely and did not have to wait long for Taylor to blowdry my hair. First, Carina washed my hair and that was nice. I did take some water infused with oranges to quench my thirst. Taylor got to work on my hair and I had described that I wanted beach waves. The only thing baffling was that she asked me if I requested hot tools to use- they didn't ask me (which they should have). Anyway, she was able to use a brush and a curling iron and give me some beach waves to hold my hair. It did come out very nicely (I did get a lot of compliments at the wedding). The salon is very upscale and has a beautiful make up bar as well. So my friend did steer me in the correct direction (there are different price points just so you know depending on the type of stylist you get to do your hair). A good experience for sure.

This location is in the Bergen Town Center, so you might find parking to be a pain in the a$$... Some pros of Ulta: *You get the best of both worlds because they carry both drugstore and high-end beauty brands. They've added a lot more brands recently. I was shook lol. So you'll have much more variety when you shop. *Their rewards/points system is unmatched. The points you accumulate can be used as discounts on future purchases. They also have a lot of BOGO deals, sales, freebies, and events to give you chances to multiply your points. At Sephora, you can only use your points towards whatever samples they are offering at that time. They don't have as many incentives. *They offer brow services *They have a fully operating hair salon *Stores are generally much more spacious and bigger I would say two of the biggest cons are that Ulta does not carry many "hot" or "unique brands"... Sephora definitely does. I've also had better customer service at Sephora. This Ulta location can be a hit or miss with the employees. Some are very knowledgeable about products and some are not.
