I chose this DME provider because they were one of the only authorized providers in the area for Cubby Beds and had positive reviews--though now I question their authenticity. In August, I submitted all required documentation for my son's Cubby Bed, including a detailed letter of medical necessity and prescription for the full system (bed, canopy, mattress, and tech hub). My insurance approved everything quickly and without issue. However, the DME company submitted the order incorrectly as only ONE unit of durable medical equipment. When I called to clarify, I was told it should have been submitted as FOUR separate units. This forced me to go back to my insurance company to correct THEIR mistake, causing unnecessary delays and confusion. After finally getting approval corrected, the bed was delivered--but without the tech hub. When I followed up, I was then told (months later, on December 30) that the tech hub was actually a FIFTH unit that had never been submitted. Again, I had to contact my insurance company myself to fix their error. My insurance approved the additional unit immediately, but because it was approved on December 30 and the company was closed for New Year's, the order was delayed and the tech hub went on backorder. I was assured it would still be delivered and backdated. It is now April, and we still have not received the tech hub. To make matters worse, our insurance has since changed, meaning we will likely never receive it. This is not just an inconvenience--this is a serious safety issue. The tech hub includes monitoring features that are critical for my son, who has epilepsy. This equipment could literally help save his life during a nighttime seizure, and we are without it due to repeated errors and mismanagement by this company. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and repeated mistakes throughout this process are unacceptable. I strongly urge other families to choose a different DME provider. This has been an incredibly frustrating and concerning experience, and no family should have to fight this hard for medically necessary equipment.

This is regarding the service department only as I already owned my van…read more I have been waiting ('for parts') over four months. They have had my van for one month and I have heard nothing. My calls are not answered by anyone. I feel over a barrel as there are not many options for accessible vans to be repaired. And, none are local to me. I wonder if that is why they are so lacking in quality service.

He made a trip out there and met with a salesman (who shall remain nameless on purpose), took the van for a test drive. He asked me to join him for a 2nd visit. On that trip, we met with the manager (salesman was not in that day), took another drive and made the decision to go ahead with the purchase. They offered a pittance on the trade, so we declined that option. Our financial info was sent to their provider, who subjected us to ridiculous interrogation, before offering a loan at 5.5%. Both of our FICO scores are over 800!!. One phone call later, we obtained a 2.74% loan from our credit union, MSGCU. We returned to Gresham, check in hand, to pick up the van, in which the necessary hand controls had been installed. The salesman was rude from the get-go. I tried to minimize my disdain for the sake of getting through the transaction, but it only deepened with each step. On opening the passenger door, the entire bottom half of the interior door trim fell to the ground. "not a problem," he said in quite a tone, "our mechanic will fix that." We had questions, he had no answers, curtly informing us that they were selling this particular van as a "favor" to the original owner, and really had no need to know how things worked. We were given 2 "keys," but only one remote starter - "we were only given one," he stated. He had no clue how the remote worked. His demeanor and attitude were certainly not becoming of someone who spends his life "helping" physically challenged folks maintain their independence via these vehicles. I found this completely disheartening. The hand controls had been installed after our test drive, and were now blocking the switch for the steering wheel position. The mechanic (much more personable than the salesman) offered to try and make an adjustment and fix the loose door trim...and we were finally on our way. A mere 3 weeks later, the "change oil" message appeared...to our astonishment, this vehicle was apparently "serviced" only to vacuum the carpet and remove a wheelchair guide. Nothing more was done...oh except maybe a cursory wash, and a perfunctory tank full of gas. We hastily removed their window stickers and have returned to the wonderful care at our long-time handicap dealer, Mobility Works, for our future service and equipment needs. Any price we paid was way too much for the shoddy performance we experienced at Gresham. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there! And honestly, I'm very grateful this vehicle is still under the original warranty... I have no trust or confidence in Gresham and feel they sold us this vehicle with no consideration or conscience with regard to its mechanical condition.
