And they did t stop there, they even offered to - and did, air up my flat tire for me so I could get home safely before needing to use the compressor I was buying. It reminded me of Bronners Christmas Wonderland in Frankenmuth but on a smaller scale. A separate area next to the main shop had lots of Christmas trees and an area for children to meet Santa Clause with proper social distancing and a barrier in place. I recommend visiting Sherwood Forest during Christmas if you are looking for holiday decorations.

Also knowing that I was going to spend a few hundred dollars on shrubs, plants and other items I was expecting to talk to somebody knowledgeable. After asking a couple people I was guided to a woman named Annette. She works outside in the perennials, shrubs and tree section and boy was she great to work with. I asked her a lot of (dumb) questions and showed her a picture of what I'm working with and she was able to recommend various ideas. There was another woman who was very helpful, dark hair and younger but her name slips my mind... Maybe Renee? Yeah, she was awesome too! As noted before in other reviews, they are expensive but the quality of the plants as well as the warranty are great. I have a first responder in the family so I was able to get the garden club for free which extends the warranty even further. ($20/yr) Because they opened in early May when I went on the 10th, they were out a lot. Annette said call back to check on stock, which I plan to do. Will be back! (I'll post some pictures in a couple days when it's sunny out again of a before and after.)

Besides holiday décor, I found several really cute planters on my last visit. The pink and white face planter only cost $7.99. I've seen face planters at garden nurseries for as much as $50, so this was a good deal. The green "plant lover" planter was only $2.99. This is a good place to shop for anyone looking for inexpensive holiday and year-round decorations for one's office, cubicle, classroom, or home. The staff are friendly and very helpful when on a mission like Me, "Need for Speed" with shopping. (I can run 6-8 errands in 2 hours.) Like other locations: Bed Bath & Beyond is what the name is. They sell *really* nice stuff, from Simple Human, to fancy coffee makers and tons of linens. While their linen and comforter selection is fabulous, their prices are a bit high for me even though they carry top notch stuff. Do I need a $300 dollar comforter for the cat to puke a hairball on? No, no I don't. I am more of a JC Penny $100 comforter set lady that's machine washable for that reason alone. They have good sales here and have expanded their selection of items to also include makeup, shampoos and other products over the years. I recently did a purchase of a small ticket item and chose to do curbside for pickup. It was ready within an hour and I picked it up later curbside. It was out in 5 minutes! I was impressed.
