J & B is very difficult to deal with. My disabled sister, I am the guardian, receives medicare/medicaid supplies through J & B. Communication within the company, with providers, and end users is terrible. I have been told numerous reasons why order isn't shipped from different personnel. My hold time for the past week has been over 2 hours. After finally getting to the documentation department I was told that the information provide was invalid. This information was faxed 7 business days ago, no response. If I didn't call we wouldn't know. This process began 1/15/2026, it is now 4/9/2026. We're looking for another supplier. I cannot even offer a 1-star rating, because that is too high of a rating for the fact that they dont do anything but waste time. DO NOT CALL THEM. DO NOT USE THEM. They would not help us with our order. This company does NOT deserve to be in business. We were originally told that the nurse would call us back by March 9th and to call them if they do not reach out by that date. So, we called them 5 times and left messages because it is so hard to get a live person. No one returned our call. So, I called and was on the phone for a very long time and after finally getting hold of someone to place an order they said I had to talk to a nurse. It is the nurse that has never contacted us, and we have had Priority Health call and Carewell call. I told them we know what we need and if they want us to talk to a nurse, put us on hold and get one. They said that they cannot do that. So, I asked to talk to the supervisor. They sent me to someone's voicemail and that voicemail would not let me leave a message after telling me to do so. It just hung up. I called back and was able to get hold of someone in the Commercial accounts. They are having the manager call me as soon as we hang up. No phone call yet. I have wasted too much time. This company is the worst. I have so much to say but every time I call not one person is capable of assisting me with complete customer service. They make you jump around from customer service rep from one office to the next. Oh and don't ever ask for a direct line to any of the offices or ask for a manager or higher up in charge. Unfortunately, my son is required to use J&B Medical to obtain supplies. They are horrible to work with, and nobody will call you back. About a month ago I tried to change one of the supplies. It has now been a month, and J&B has still not yet contacted the doctor to start the change. But they did, for some reason, cancel the supply he is getting, and I can't get the supply added back on and my son will now run out of the supply. (This is only one of many examples over the past years!!!) I will be calling the Wisconsin Department of Health Services to see if there is a way to change J&B as the only provider. I had issues first setting up services with them, took over 3 months for J&B to get their crap straight. Now another issue, been told 2 different stories from 2 different reps, again a supervisor never called back. Lied about contacting my doctor, changed my order without my knowledge. They have a chokehold on incontinence supplies, the only supplier you can use if you have Medicaid of Michigan. J and B charges 3- 5 times more for test strips when billing insurance. Simple price gouging. J AND B medical is a preferred BCBCN provider, no wonder cost of insurance has gone up 51.00 for a box of strips you can buy for 8-15 dollars locally or online. They didn't receive the new script, they didn't receive the chart notes even though I seen my Dr's proof that they sent it. Not once but three times. It is December, I am trying to order supplies that will cost me zero dollars, January it will be over 800.00. I find out I was sent to collections, this baffled me, they have my credit card on file and used that credit card the entire year for approximately 2200.00 in Diabetic supplies. I am still trying to figure out what happen, they have my credit card on file, they used it throughout the year, and 28.00 stopped the process. J and B medical was great But now service is just the WORST. We have NOT received any supplies from J and B medical for my child since December. January and FEBUARY supplies were both CANCELLED WITHOUT NOTICE. Their reason for cancelling January was because they think that we were receiving too much supplies, We NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING FOR JANUARY OR FEBUARY. Also my child was supposed to get a new order on Febuary 12th, I was notified by UPS tracking text that the order had shipped out after spoking with someone from J and B medical over the phone. Day 4 still NO package, So I called J and B medical back and they tried to say that was because I didn't confirm the order for Febuary 12th so they cancelled that order too. It was confirmed because I spoke with them over the phone. Than I was told that a new order would ship out on the 18th or 19th of Febuary. I was notified that the package was shipped out on its way, Than was notified by UPS the package was suddenly Delayed on the 21st of Febuary. The UPS Tracking shows that the package made it to a Evansville, IN UPS Facillity Where the package got LOST and there were NO more updates after that. I called J and B medical back again notifying them of the issue with UPS, They said that they would put in a claim for me But clearly did NOT. I called UPS Support team and they said that no claims were made and that I had to file a claim myself. I started a claim and a Investigation has been going on now since Febuary 28th to find out what happened to the package. Still NO updates from UPS or claims investigtion. Insurance has Already paid, I called spoke with someone from J and B medical and they are supposed to send a new shippment on March 5th But also they think that we got the lost order, Investion is STILL going on with UPS to find the LOST package. WE DID NOT RECEIVE ANY SHIPMENT SINCE DECEMBER. Also I have been trying to call J and B medical all week, NOBODY will answer the phone. If my child does NOT receive BOTH ORDERS. My friend has had numerous health issues and hospitalizations this year. He needs to use catheters daily. When he was discharged we were told that they were ordered and would be delivered by the only company his insurance would allow. We never received one catheter from them. I called them and was told I had to set up an account, so I did. They told me they would send out his order. They did not. I have had to scramble to find supplies and pay out of pocket several times for something that is covered by Medicare. Turns out Byram also accepts Medicare and has gone above and beyond to make sure our needs are met. If you are told you have to use J and B call your provider and tell them no. read more

I would like to give a zero star review but doesn't seem like I can. I can't say this company is any good because they don't ship the products! We have been using J&B for 4 years and suddenly they skip a month on us, we call and they go oh it will get shipped now, we get one month where now its normal and then the next 2 months no shipment at all again. I have called 3 times, I have emailed 3 times, they all say oh its fixed now, but again no shipment of supplies. I didn't know getting this service meant you need to spend all your time hounding them to get anything from them. This is a joke of a company, the customer service is rude all of the time, the one good thing I will say is the nurses they have calling are trying to be helpful but besides that this company needs to lose its contract with Medicaid so the families that need help can actually get the supplies they need. If I could give them zero stars I would. The worst diabetic supply company you can imagine. We have used them for pump supplies. They have never gotten a bill correct for either my son or my husband. They will delay processing your claims correctly for over a year. Between Northwood and J&B codes are never input correctly. When they finally do get it corrected it is after 12 months, they credit your HSA and throw all of your accounting off. My husband is on Medicare and he has called them with Medicare several times, to have Medicare chew them out. It took them over a year and a half on two separate occasions to process insulin pump supplies, even after Medicare interceded several times. Good Grief, if you do not have to use this company do not. I will never auto-pay this company. Don't let them get a hold of your credit card, forget it!!! My most recent issue is there are many items missing in my son's order history in his online account. Nothing is ever reconciled properly. I was so so grateful when BCBS finally let us get our CGM's filled at CVS or any other in network pharmacy! Praise. One less nightmare. read more

I also was forced to get my diabetic supplies from J & B by BCBS Medicare Advantage. They messed up my billing so bad that I took away my credit card to prevent auto payment. Then, I was able to get my supplies directly from Medtronic until once again, BCBS said that would no longer work. I set up a new account with J & B and gave my Dr. information and everything else they needed. I called to place my order for the Guardian 4 sensor. I was told they needed paperwork from my Dr. which should have been done 4 months ago!! After being on hold for 20 minutes, getting disconnected, and being on hold again for another 25 minutes, supposedly things were getting done. Until...a phone call saying they could no longer supply my CGM sensors as of October 1st, over a month ago!! Now, I have to deal with J & B Pharmacy or go to my local pharmacy! Walgreens, of course, told me to get supplies from a medical distribution co. Then, J & B told me I would no longer have an account with them since there was nothing there even though they could still provide my pump supplies!! I spent a good deal of time setting up that account months ago. BCBS just told me they could have continued my sensor order until December 31st! I have spent 2 days on the phone with this supplier, BCBS, and Medtronic. They are all crazy!! I will avoid doing any kind of business with J & B if at all possible!! Julie B was extremely helpful and even gave me her direct number if I have any problems with my shipment or anything else in the future. We have almost a year of inconsistent shipments for my daughter's supplies which almost always involved me following up online or on the phone with little to no response and purchasing supplies which should be covered by insurance myself. i switched companies. 5 months now since I switched from BINSON for diaper services in Indiana which I had for 3 years and this UNPROFESSIONAL circus has not been able to read the multiple prescriptions sent by my doctors office. Criminal... Sent me a letter for my CBG sensors, letter says $250 for 90 sensors. When they call to get everything set up, all of a sudden it's for 9 sensors (the math on the invoice isnt mathing on that one) and the rep is trying to gaslight me as if I am not holding the paper in my hand that says 90 sensors. Rep said they were forwarding the situation to "Compliance" to find a resolution. Here's the resolution: I have it on paper, and the MCL: 445.903 Chapter 445 Act 331 and the FTC Act. say J&B must honor what's on paper. I have no problem what-so-ever going the legal route on this.
