Our contractor stopped by as he was finishing and was blown away by how good the counters looked (and he is hard to impress). Our family of four has been hard on them, with lots of scratches and dullness, and they looked brand new, actually better than brand new. In certain light, they are so shiny, they look liquid. Hugo and his contractor brother Carlos carefully removed and replaced all fixtures so that everything could be cleaned and buffed. The Issues: Hidden Fees: I expected a complete quote, but was constantly "nickeled-and-dimed." I was charged an extra $450 for dual vanity plumbing when it should have been included in a quote. Why would I want a dual vanity with one sink not working? I was told basic mirror reinstallation wasn't included and done put of courtesy. Substandard Painting & Texturing: I paid $575 for a paint job that didn't cover the previous layer, claiming a "full" paint job wasn't covered. The new wall texturing was only done in patches and does not match the original walls. Poor Attention to Detail: The new shower insert was left covered in sticky glue that won't come off. The crew also reattached an old, mismatched rail to my mirror without asking, creating an eyesore and mirroris glued to the wall that cannotbe taken off withoutdamagingthe wall now. Reliability & Incomplete Work: On two days, only one worker showed up instead of the full crew. To top it off, they left without even putting the bathroom door back on-I had to hang it myself. Verdict: The final product looks like amateur work. I paid a licensed price but got an unlicensed result. I will never hire them again and strongly advise looking elsewhere.
