They hadn't even received a request! They told me if they receive it they will approve it stat. I called the office back to tell them, but this time they changed the story to say the doctor hadn't sent them the correct paperwork. The doctor HAD sent the correct paperwork as the first time I called FORM, that person had confirmed that she had received it! The last call ended up with us going in circles about why she didn't/hadnt/couldnt send the insurance pre approval request, all of which kept changing and made no sense. It's really too bad because a lot of people need to use an open MRI machine due to claustrophobia and other issues, and they are the only option in the near area.

Dr. Hester is THE BEST!!! I travel to San Jose for work every month and had to delay my flight…read morebecause I developed an ear infection. The urgent care physician advised me not to drive or fly home because the elevation change could burst my eardrum. I was worried about the time for my body to "heal itself" so I called and called to find someone reputable to help me. I read other reviews and decided to call the California Ear Institute. I am the most blessed person for finding Dr. Hester!!! He explained ALL of my options then explained what he would do if it were "him". Dr. Hester relieved my pain and allowed me to go home to my family. In a world so motivated by money ... it is wonderful to know there are physician's who love helping people and are skilled at their craft. BRAVO to Dr. Hester and his awesome staff! I was referred to Dr Hester by my sleep doctor and my first consult with Hester was great. I did not leave my visit feeling more confused (which is what used to happen to me after ent visits). He does not work with insurance but you get what you pay for. You are getting quality care so to me it's 100 percent worth it. Angelica at his office is very sweet and responsive with her emails. Christine at the surgery center is also awesome and answered all of my finance questions for surgery.

His office is prompt and efficient, and his staff is nice to work with. My issue was in the quality of service. After an initial urine test for any obvious infection, the Dr. essentially went into "it's all in your head mode". He didn't really listen to described symptoms, didn't really discuss options, or explore what might really be the issue. He basically said, no obvious infection, here try this supplement. A few visits of this, and I gave up.

Dr Saleh was trying real hard to get him in for an operation and finally, one evening when he was not the on call Dr he came and said we need to do an emergency surgery. He afterwards told me he couldn't stop all the bleeding but he tried real hard but he was worried that his heart which needed a valve couldn't handle more surgery. Nachum coded when he was recovering. I recall meeting the Dr the next day after being up most of the night and having a full day of treatment I met the Dr in ICU and I asked him would he finally be able to get some rest and he said, "no, his 5 year old son had a science project that he submitted. The Dr treated him kindly and when my hubby who was in the hospital for a month was taking it badly he would just talk to him for 5-10 minutes. Also, in Aug 2020 he caught COVID before vacines. Putting a catheter was always tricky for something they called a secret package but the Dr had a family emergency and before he left he took care of my hubby. Dr. Saleh is the best, kind, caring, very knowledgable Dr. and we have been blessed to have him as my hubby's urologist. There is a comment by an Albert M. and truly it does not seem like we are talking about the same Dr. The World in my opinion is a better world because it has such an incredible Dr. This is long overdue but I am so glad to be doing it.

I've worn hearing aids for 24 years by total necessity to work and live because of this disability. I knew from my first meeting with Dr. Kiringoda, that I could trust him completely. He is kind, patient, caring and clearly experienced, but also humble. Excellent bedside manner compared to a surgeon I met with 20 years ago in SF. I can't recommend Dr. Kiringoda highly enough...he improved my quality of life in a way I didn't think was possible. It was a really hard time. I had a couple of other ENTs unsure of the root cause, with imaging showing no issues, etc. Those ENTs mostly pushed for keeping my newly acquired hearing aids and not pursuing surgery to better my hearing on its own. I finally met with an ENT who recommended the right imaging and then referred me to Dr. Kiringoda, whom he highly recommended. When I first went in for a consultation, Dr. Kiringoda and PA Rachel (who is also awesome) spent a lot of time with me. He looked at my new CT with me and explained what his plan would be for surgery, targeting the exact cause of my hearing loss. Additionally, he would explore the middle ear to ensure there were no other issues and be prepared if anything else came up during surgery. He thoroughly explained the procedure and what to expect. Small Note: He spends considerable time with his patients, so appointments sometimes run behind, but it's all good because his expertise is worth the wait! I got surgery done by Dr. Kiringoda in August 2025, where I underwent an Ossiculoplasty, in which he placed a prosthetic due to erosion of the long process of the Incus bone. After my surgery, I experienced minimal pain and no complications. It was clear about a month after that my hearing was improving, my tinnitus was decreasing, and the numb feeling in my ear was mostly gone. By two months or so, my hearing was exceptionally improved. I am so grateful to Dr. Kiringoda and his excellent team both before and during surgery. I felt well cared for and still do, knowing they are in my corner if something else transpires with my ears. I highly recommend Dr. Kiringoda and PA Rachel Brown, and I have told several people who have asked me for a reference for a good ENT.

For instance, last night I only slept 3.5 hours. I am not tired throughout the day but may get sleepy around bedtime. Maybe this is normal for me. My watch complains about my poor sleep quality. When I arrived the P.A. was extremely excited for me to visit and repeated this many times. She was oh so very very happy and excited for me to visit them and assured me multiple times that they would help me and extend my life. She was oh so very very happy I came to them and expressed how wonderful it was I was there. They would take care of me and help with my sleep issues. I opted for the home sleep study and they found mild sleep apnea. I selected the machine rather than oral insert or surgery. Nothing was found about my lack of sleep. That night I got to sleep at my usual time, 10pm and woke at 3am. I was so upset I texted the PA and noted that I need to go to another clinic to deal with this. She texted that she would escalate. Weeks later I had not heard anything about the machine but got a voicemail from someone named Steve. I returned his call and left a message with him. A woman called me back and seemed extremely agitated that I had called. Sometimes I don't read people correctly but she did seem upset and kept asking if I wanted to leave a message.
