    Traditional Indian Taco

The food and service was excellent. This is a small restaurant so you may have waite to be seated but it's worth it. I had the traditional indian taco and it was delicious. The trio of fresh chips, guacamole, salsa, and queso was delish. We had samplers withbfried pickles, chicken sandwiches, burgers, and chicken fajita indian tacos..everything was so good. I would definitely recommend this gem tucked away in the casino.

Really good! Hot and fresh and good prices. Service is a little slow but we weren't in a hurry so it was fine.

My favorite is the tres amigos dip trio, the salsa is always fresh, the guacamole on point and the queso so yummy!

The patio space in the front was very secluded and lush, we had it entirely to ourselves. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. They even brought out a water bowl with ice for our pups. We loved our drinks. My espresso martini was boozy and not too sweet with a love whipped topping on top. Her Road to Hana was very refreshing and the pineapple tajin garnish hit the spot. Quick shout out to the dinner rolls and butter. I was starving so this held me over while our shareables came out. The Spicy Caesar was nice, loved the hit of heat that came with it. The Chicken Pepperjack Strudel, a signature dish, was really really good. Just wish it was warmer in the center but yea definitely order this. Juan's queso is not a typical queso dish. First, it's real cheese and it comes with a black bean puree, salsa verde, and avocado thinly sliced on top. We loved it, especially my wife. If you're in search of a higher end dining experience in OKC, Cheever's is a must.

I came here with a large group of about 8 of us with a reservation made early on. We were seated in a nice, private room and had an overall very lovely experience! First of all, our server Trey was just spot on with all of his recommendations. He recommended the crab cakes, the halibut, and anything that came with the spicy shrimp risotto. Our table got crab cakes to start, and this was probably my favorite dish of the evening! The crab cake was large, fluffy, and full of lump crab topped with a spicy and delicious salsa verde and pico. For the entree I ordered the halibut which was cooked well, but the side of spicy shrimp risotto definitely stole the show (as Trey accurately predicted). Most of our party ordered this and everyone was pretty happy with it! For dessert, our table shared chocolate cake and the coconut creme pie. The chocolate cake was very rich and was probably one of the best chocolate cakes I've had, and I'm not a big chocolate cake person. I still definitely preferred the coconut creme pie, which I would order again next time! Our service was fantastic for the evening, and when Trey tells you to order something, trust him and do it!

Unfortunately, this visit completely missed the mark. The restaurant was maybe 25% full, yet it took 30 minutes just to receive drinks -- two whiskeys on the rocks, a wine, and a prosecco. Nothing complicated. After another 20 minutes, our waitress finally returned to take our food order. After waiting a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes, I finally went to the bar and asked to just pay for the drinks and leave because I needed to get back to relieve our babysitter. While waiting on the check, the food finally came out. At that point, we just asked for everything to be boxed up. To their credit, the restaurant comped the entire meal and drinks, which was appreciated, but it still did not make up for the overall experience. Once we got home and opened the food, it was even more disappointing. The appetizers were extremely underwhelming for the $16-$20 price point, and the $32 entrée looked barely larger than an appetizer itself. Between the long wait, poor service, and lackluster portions, the experience simply did not justify the cost or the time. I know Chef Black is capable of much better because the quality at the other restaurants proves it. That's what made this visit so disappointing.

I was delighted to find out that our hotel was only 2 miles from this highly acclaimed restaurant. Upon entering, I immediately felt the welcoming atmosphere. We were warmly greeted by the host. The inside is lovely, modern and well laid out. It's perfect for date night or hanging with friends. The host chatted with us, explained the restaurant concept, and answered all my questions. We got the Baked Chèvre for our appetizer. It was layered with flavor and a most delicious and perfect bite for a cold evening. My entree was the Rainbow Trout. The fish had crispy skin and was moist, flaky, and well seasoned. The broad bean mixture served with it was equally delicious. The hubby had Honey Roasted Lavender Chicken which he declared to be one of the best chicken dishes he's ever had. He even raved over the vegetables that came with it. Of course I also had to try dessert. I loved my warm spice cake with a scoop of ice cream and swirls of buttery caramel rum sauce. The cake was so moist and paired perfectly with the sauce and ice cream. Our wait staff was friendly and professional. I forgot to jot down names so I could give them a shout out. Excellent staff is always a part of an excellent dining experience. This was just a delightful experience. The host even gave us the name of some nearby live music venues that we enjoyed later that evening. We will certainly return here the next time we are in OKC. If you are ever in the city, make a reservation and stop by for a fabulous experience.
