This is one of the things I really like about smaller towns. People take the time to chat with you. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich with fries. The turkey was dry, but that's to be expected with breast meat. But the egg infused into the bread reminded me of HK-style French toast. The fries weren't quite crispy enough (maybe a bit raw?) but on the other hand, they weren't dripping with oil, which is a good thing. While eating my sandwich, I noticed several people ordering cherry cheesecake ($5.25), so I gave it a go too. This has to be one of the best cheesecakes I've had anywhere. It had just the right amount of sweetness, and the cherry sauce balanced it out PERFECTLY. This is worth a special mention. You will not be disappointed.
