No no no! Mexican food done wrong. The smell of disinfectant when you first walk in should have been enough of a reason to run, but we stayed to try the food. First, a burrito bowl must have salad in it, not a mushy mess of beans sour cream guacamole and what could only be described as nacho cheese topping sources from the local movie theatre. The chicken quesadillas were awful, no sautés onions, no finely chopped tomato, just melted cheese and under seasoned chicken mixed together in the middle of 2 large tortillas, all fried on a flattop grill. To top it off, there were 4 of us, and each of us received our meals 1 at a time in no particular order, but really spaced out with no intention. They had no beer, and to mask the taste of the food, they need to serve beer there. No way are we going back. read more

Dependable Mexican place with a cozy vibe and great service. I enjoyed my pork burrito on my first visit--it was flavorful, and huge! I ordered a quesadilla for my vegetarian kid, and I didn't read the menu description closely: it was a chicken quesadilla. The server said it was no problem and had the kitchen whip up a fantastic vegetarian quesadilla on the spot, and refused to charge us for it. On the flip side, make sure you get specific about your order. On my second visit, my wife ordered a lunch special and I ordered "chili verde"--I assumed they'd give me the lunch special as well but they gave me the dinner portion (at the dinner price). I brought the leftovers home because it was huge plate, so I wasn't too miffed, but it was a surprise. That said, both experiences were great overall and I'll happily return. read more

I went here yesterday for the first time with my Mom around 2:30pm. There were lots of families eating when we arrived. They have a reasonably priced lunch menu. I got a burrito that was on the lunch menu and although it was basic without beans or rice, it was excellent. My Mom loved her meal as well. Will definitely be going back again! read more

I'm writing this review (almost) with tears in my eyes. 10/10!!! Hands down my new favorite Mexican restaurant. I am from Texas and this reminds me of the low key fantastic Mexican places that you take for granted while living there. Immediately upon walking in you are greeted with warm decor and beautifully decorated murals on the chairs. Cozy booths surround the restaurant. The staff was super friendly and allowed us to pick our booth. Menu has a nice variety. Chips and salsa to start were great. Chips were fresh and crispy with a hint of salt. Salsa was warm and tasty. I went with my husband and kids so we ordered a variety of foods to come at the same time. The cheese dip was nice, no spice at all. The kids liked it. We also ordered a chicken quesadilla and flautas for the kids. Both were great. I ordered the enchiladas Yolanda and I would definitely order them again. The sauce was perfect and the chicken was pulled to perfection. My husband ordered the carnitas and thought they were good. We got two free margaritas with the meal! We love this place. Stopped in on 4-20 to celebrate. Brought our big tequila to boost the virgin Marquita's to acceptable alcohol level. The man in charge asked if we'd like tee shirts and we loved these taco and tequila tees. Chips and salsa is delicious. Service is outstanding. Had the chili relannos and taco and enchiladas plates. Wow I loved this restaurant! My family and went for dinner there recently and the food, atmosphere and hospitality was excellent. Hands down the best tacos, chips, salsa, guacamole (best ever) and refried beans. The atmosphere is great, love the chairs with the carvings and the murals on the walls. My friends and I came here on a mission to find a new Mexican place that we loved in the Delco area. I was pleasantly surprised! The chips were fresh and the queso was great. I had the chorizo tacos and they were really tasty but a bit pricey in my opinion ($17 for 3 tacos). We asked about the free margaritas with purchase of meal listed on the website and unfortunately it's only the newtown square location that offers that, however they did honor it and give us each one for free. Went there twice first time just the two of us and we shared the beef, chicken and shrimp fajitas. It were hot and tasty and quite large. Chip's and salsa were non stop and delicious.
