We arrived at the expected time frame for pickup. We requested: the cook to be rare, no bbq, ketchup on the side and cut in half. Burger was cut in half. Check. It did not have bbq sauce. Check. Ketchup on the side. Check. It was overcooked. Sad. The bacon and blue cheese was really good! The bacon was thick, not crispy. And from what I understand, it is from their ranch. The burger patties (came with two) was just overcooked and a little dry. My friend said it was salty, I couldn't tell if it was the seasoning or blue cheese. The build for it was decent- no other toppings on it to allow the bacon and cheese to shine. The fries were not enjoyable. I imagine this is something best enjoyed fresh and hot. Service for pick up was very friendly. Environment was clean. They have taxidermy all over the wall. Bathroom was clean. I'd like to try this place again, but to eat in house, if I'm ever up in the area again. The bacon is worth it. They have a full menu online, used Toast to order ahead, which was very convenient. The only feedback is the menu online doesn't include descriptions so I bounced between a yelp post with a photo of menu explaining the burgers.

The inside was gorgeous with very cool murals and a great vibe. The outdoor space (where we chose to sit) was nice also. Comfortable seating with a view of downtown. Next, we were met with the nicest staff from the hostess to our wonderful waitress Anna. She was helpful and honest and an absolute joy. We'd go again just to see her. Lastly, but possibly most importantly, the food was superb. Huge portions fairly priced with superb ingredients. I ordered the blackened chicken Cobb salad, which Anna warned me was a bit spicy and she was right, but mixed with the delicious dressing, blue cheese crumbles, bacon, egg, and avocado, the spice was perfect. My husband got the California burger and fries . It was flavorful and perfectly prepared. The fries were crispy and flavorful also. Overall, an excellent dinner and I highly recommend a visit here. Next time we will get the pizza. They looked and smelled so scrumptious.

Go there early and started with cocktails in the adjoining bar that is in a separate area from the dining area (which we were grateful for, as there was a large party loudly celebrating a birthday). Not having a chance to see any dishes coming to other tables (it was actually pretty sparse on diners for a Saturday night), we just ordered what looked good or was unique. Started with the shrimp cocktail - juicy and perfectly spicy sauce. Not unique but a crisp fresh start to our meal. White bean crostini - sounded heavy with the steak topper, but was delectable. The Caesar wedge salad was the pleasant surprise. They GRILLED the romaine. I've never seen this before and it was an excellent way to add extra flavor to the dish. Lastly, the spinach stuffed chicken with mashed potatoes and perfectly crisp veggies. Finish off with a strong coffee and "voila", a nice finish to a very satisfying meal. The staff were attentive and pleasant! Lovely view of part of the course.

Chef Nat Borsi's modern Mediterranean haven is a testament to substance over style, a place where "farm-to-table" isn't a marketing slogan but a palpable ethos. The menu, which deftly avoids the trap of being overextended, delivers singular triumphs. The Mushroom Bolognese is a masterclass in vegetarian depth, a richly savory ragout that satisfies on a primal level. The house-made pastas shine; the Lamb Bucatini offers meaty, soulful complexity, while the Seafood Pasta is a testament to the pristine ingredients of the Pacific Northwest. For the carnivore, the Roasted Chicken is a beautifully simple, perfectly executed dish that speaks to the kitchen's bedrock technique. With service that is as warm as the intimate, welcoming ambiance, Cocorico is not just a meal-it's a cornerstone of the Ashland dining experience.

Our table was in their patio space, which I actually like better than the indoor part of the restaurant. The patio space feels very open and has a lot of live plants in the planters that make space between tables. It was a little warm on the patio since it was 98 degrees outside, but they keep it relatively cool on this mostly enclosed patio. Our server was great. She was so friendly and fun to talk to. She helped us figure out what we wanted to order and checked in on us just the right amount. You can tell the food here is very fresh and homemade. We started with the Deviled Eggs, which are really special. I love how they serve them over a bed of crushed up potato chips as they give this dish some salty crunch. Next we had the Beet salad, which is marinated beets over a whipped cheese. The beets do have a strong vinegar flavor, but it's balanced out beautifully by the cheese. My wife ordered the Mushroom Bolognese, which was probably the best dish of the evening. This is an incredible, vegetarian dish that is so meaty without any meat. The finely diced mushroom sauce is so good along with the handmade noodles. Also, adding burrata to it gives it a perfect creaminess. I ordered the pork chop, which was also excellent and enormous. It did take me a lot longer to eat since it was a little hard to cut, the compote on top added a great sweetness, but I feel like it could've used more. Also, the polenta and grilled asparagus was awesome. Lastly, we got the Rice Pudding for dessert. It comes with a hazelnut crumble and a dolce de leche sauce. Normally, I feel like rice pudding has a kind of thin, milky consistency, but not this. It is think and has a wonderful texture. It is probably the best rice pudding I've ever had. The nuts give a satisfying crunch and the dolce de leche sauce is light and sweet. Disclaimer: we did order one dish we really didn't like. It was a special salad with endives and lentils. The server was happy to get us another dish.

Also had the happy hour fried chicken and hh burger, as well as the scallops off of the main menu. The burger was thick and juicy. My kids and husband said the fries were some of the best they've had-crispy exterior and soft interior. Fried chicken had a light crispy coating on the outside and the honey Aleppo mixture was great, though son said it could've used a little more salt. My scallops were some of the best scallops I've ever had before--so well cooked and perfectly seasoned and with these thinly sliced snap peas that were just barely blanched that added texture and freshness to the dish.
