Inductor of Healing is THAT place. I received treatment from Malike. Wowzers. Supernatural hands! Inductor is right - as he moves energy around, breaks-up static areas, and re-sets you mind and body. Malike released tension, knots and static energy I was unaware I was carrying. I leaped for joy after the session (like a child). :) The location is beautifully set-up, sanitary, with a great relaxing atmosphere. Don't second guess it...if you are reading this it's not by coincidence it's time for you to love thyself - heal thyself - and RELAX/REST book with Inductor of Healing. Also: I paid full price for my service and would gladly do it again. I was not referred, read a yelp review and decided to book. Best decision.

Even though I live…read morein California, I travel to Illinois at least twice a year, and the very first thing I do is book a massage with him. That's how much of a difference he makes in my life. I live with chronic pain, and somehow Anthony always knows exactly where it lives and how to release it. His hands are truly extraordinary. He can work on two different muscles at once with such precision that it feels like magic. His understanding of anatomy is remarkable; he knows how every muscle connects, how the body carries stress, and exactly how to unravel it. Every session with him leaves me feeling lighter, looser, and genuinely cared for. I've had massages all over, but nothing compares to the relief, healing, and comfort I get from Anthony. He is, without a doubt, the best.

The BEST massage I've ever had. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Anthony was very technical, skilled, and…read moreknowledgeable about the human body so his technique was very precise and effective. I've had dozens of massages in the past and realized that most of the times, it has been unskilled people just kneading your muscles to loosen them up. Anthony was way beyond that. I had a shoulder injury that I'd been going to Physical Therapy for, and he identified the exact muscle he needed to release the tension on for me to feel instantly better. He has a lot of pride in his therapy session and is an ultimate professional. It really doesn't get better than this. And his prices are very reasonable. I will never get an overpriced hotel massage ever again! I normally do 60 minute massages because after 60 minutes, I don't feel like I get incremental benefits. But I ended up asking to extend the appointment to 120 minutes because there were too many other pressure points I wanted Anthony to get. Oh and he got them. I not only feel relaxed and great, I really feel healed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Joanna welcomed me in and sat down to discuss my issues. She asked great questions to understand my body and issues. The massage room was extremely clean and smelled like lavender and eucalyptus essential oils, which are my favorites! When she got started she asked me about the position of the head cradle, which I thought was fine at first. As she started on my back she adjusted the head cradle, which made it feel much more comfortable! I've been to many expensive spas and I have never felt more comfortable with my face planed in the face cradle than I did here. Joanna also added lavender and eucalyptus near my nose on the face cradle, which was such a nice touch! The massage was amazing! I walked out with no shoulder pain, which has been nagging me for months! Joanna payed really good attention to the areas we discussed and eased tension everywhere else! It was a great experience and I can't wait to go back!

I am sitting here happily opening my jaw fully and without pain for the first time in 3 weeks. After one sports-type massage session plus tonight's session of craniosacral and manual therapy to my head, neck and jaw. Holy cats. I wish I had found this practice sooner and I will definitely be back. Here's my review: The calm and welcoming reception and treatment spaces are located in Rick's tidy lower level business space (totally separate from his home) in a safe and lovely neighborhood in SW Oak Park. Free street parking. Easy online appointment booking. Evening and Saturday hours, too. A great value. Highly recommend! I found Massage Therapy of Oak Park through a gift certificate that Rick had donated to a local children's charity fundraiser. I was the lucky highest bidder! What a great prize! Thank you Rick.

There was not a receptionist on staff when I went and things felt a bit rushed. The woman that was there, I don't know her name because she never introduced herself, kept coming out of her therapy room to answer phones and deal with the every day running of things. While this did not directly impact my experience, it did speak to the experiences other's have spoken of on here. My masseuse was very kind and gave a wonderful massage. He was still polite and very accommodating even with the woman's insistent nagging about another client waiting for him, which in turn made me feel like she was rushing me to get out. Maybe allowing a 10-15 minute window so that no one feels like they were made to wait or rushed out, would be great. This also allows the therapist a moment to breath and ready their space for the next client. The massage was wonderful and I will definitely be going back.
